Amazing staff, excellent place.

A wonderful pub and restaurant featuring German food and Beers situated inside old Templeton carpet factory in Glasgow Green in the heart of the merchant city. The location is amazing as the frontage of this building was made in the image of the Doges palace Venice. Sunday roast dinners are very popular in this huge banqueting hall. The river clyde at the old swinging suspension bridge is 5 mins walk away. The peoples palace when it reopens is similarly close by as is the old Victorian fountain which is well worth seeing. Fancy slumming it for a short while. After Sunday roast lunch why not stroll around Glasgow's historic Barras flea market. Over 100 years old. It is only 10 mins walk away and is quite close to the famous steeple clock at Glasgow Cross and St Andrew's sq church in the heart of the old merchant city.

5 / 5 for service and food Had 2 macaroni and cheese with chips and very reasonable price too. Less than a £5. Only issue was so much cheese it was just too much for my daughter..

The way you treat anglers is shocking and the way you respond to them is a cop out. You don’t have fisher folk coming into your establishment because of the way you treat them and when called out about your treatment your response is shocking. The majority of your responses have nothing to do with what people complain about or you making an excuse for it. And you choosing to put your employees pay checks up by 22% doesn’t mean a sandwich should cost over £10. If you choose to raise your employees wage that much the customers shouldn’t be the ones who suffer for it, it’s not the customers fault you raise your wages so high but don’t actually have the money to pay them without making your prices silly amounts for food that isn’t that great. You’re a cafe at a fishery not a 5 star restaurant. Keep in mind the place was and still is a fishery first and you should be treating all your customers with respect regardless of why they are there, especially if they’re coming in to pay and eat. I used to love coming up to the fishery because the staff were so lovely and welcoming now you can’t use the toilet without being looked at as if you don’t belong there. All you have to do is look at your reviews to see you guys are the reason the place has gone down hill and why so many fisher folk have said they won’t be returning. You are your own problem and refusing to admit it just makes you look worse.

Recién inaugurado (en enero) el restaurante 'Don Padrino' me ha bloqueado y eliminado mi comentario en su página de facebook, así que pensé en subir un post. Reserve una mesa hoy y estaba esperando la elección de dos menús, o "Platos individuales - Para aquellos que prefieren su propia indulgencia". Perfecto para personas con diferentes gustos. Muy engañoso, ya que cuando llegamos nos dijeron que teníamos que pedir el mismo menú. Uno o el otro. Lo siento, pero no estoy pagando £ 70 + si ni siquiera puedo elegir un menú diferente a mi pareja. El bloqueo de personas/eliminación de comentarios muestra que no puedes aceptar críticas por tus prácticas deficientes. Avergonzante tbh.

Same very good selection of beers . Didn't try the food . Staff seemed pleasant enough. However be aware this place serves great beer however if you are looking for a soft drink check the price before ordering. The soft drinks are more expensive than the beers.

Realmente decepcionado - no puedo comentar sobre la comida o el servicio, ya que nuestra mesa fue cancelada a última hora por el hotel. Había reservado para un té de cumpleaños por la tarde para mi madre y mi familia y tenía gente viajando desde Aberdeen específicamente para ello. Como sabíamos que la fecha era a principios de año y cerca del festivo nos fijamos en reservarlo mucho antes (el 19 de diciembre) y todo salió bien en ese momento. Incluso ayer recibimos un mensaje de recordatorio para asegurarnos de que no nos olvidábamos, solo para que el personal del hotel llamara hoy (día de la reserva) y alegara que no podían cumplir con la reserva ya que “se acababa de hacer en las últimas 24 horas”. Obviamente, no es así. Algunos créditos a ellos, fueron disculpados, pero sentir que esta cancelación de última hora fue poco profesional y una gran decepción a nuestros huéspedes. Nos ofrecieron cambiar nuestra reserva a un almuerzo, pero lamentablemente esto no funcionaría con algunos de los viajes de los huéspedes y otros planes prereservados para el día, y no estaba en el espíritu de la reserva original, ya que habíamos estado esperando el té de la tarde específicamente. Aunque todavía espero probar el lugar en el futuro, ya que me gustaría ver que lo haga bien, seré cauteloso con sus reservas antes de eventos en el futuro.

Amazing meal here at the new restaurant Faim. Very stylish interior with very chill vibes. All food excellent and a very well balanced menu of flavours. Will be back. Thanks again

Hay mucha publicidad en este lugar y está a la altura. Hay una opción para llevar, pero tuvimos la suerte de obtener un par de asientos con amplias vistas del personal de cocina que prepara la comida. El personal de camareros era perfecto y atento con todos los que trabajan allí manteniendo la calma cuando estaba totalmente ocupado. Fuimos por la opción del sándwich de pollo, que era uno de los mejores platos de pollo que había probado en años. Llenar pero no hasta el punto en que arruine el resto del día. En su lugar, no puedes esperar a volver de nuevo. No estaría fuera de lugar en Nueva York. Es un uso brillante de un espacio funcional que una vez no habría sido considerado como una buena parte de Glasgow. Pero eso está cambiando y este lugar está a la vanguardia de eso. El mejor brunch, el mejor servicio y la mejor experiencia que he tenido en un ambiente alimenticio durante años.

The Iralian Roadtrip...just glorious! Every course was a masterclass in innovation and flavour. Memorable.
