Visited with friends for dinner. ALL agreed this was a fantastic dining experience. 75% of our party chose from the Asian Menu while 25% from the European Menu. Both menus provided an extensive choice of dishes to satisfy any palate. The chosen starters comprised 3 Pakoras, chicken, prawn and vegetable. Beautifully prepared and Presented, quite excellent. The mains comprised Chicken Tikka, Lamb Biryani, Kashmiri Chicken Korma, Punjabi Chicken and Steak Pie, again ALL wonderfully prepared and presented. Accompaniments comprised Boiled Rice, Chapatis, Nan Bread and Peshwari Nan. What a feed was had by all. Beers wine and soft drinks complemented the food. Highly Recommended. A further visit imminent.

I have been to Alba Restaurant many times for business and family meals, and this is the first negative experience - but, as I've posted many positive reviews, I feel need to share the not so good - Family meal for 4 - arrived on time - 10 mins to get table - another 20 mins to get even drinks order - and I had to leave, just as my main meal arrived, as all others had received and finished theirs. The manager gave me a generous bill reduction, but that's not the point. The issue for me was that the restaurant couldn't cope with the customers that they had booked in, and the management team on hand did nothing to proactively address this. Potentially great restaurant that needs to learn from this

We had a family lunch here and really enjoyed it. Food was lovely and full of flavour. Service was friendly and helpful. The decor is very modern and we had a nice view of the golf course. Well worth a visit

Our family member who’d travelled over from Australia to spend time with us had a wonderful time in the restaurant. One staff member even took photographs of our family together so no one was missed out. It was a lovely gesture. I can highly recommend eating here and we will definitely be back! I took 2 of my Daughters my Grandson and Granddaughter for a spot of dinner on 8th December. As it was our 1st visit I didn't really know what to expect. The reception was really good and the staff were so friendly. As we had booked beforehand we were taken to our table straight away. The table had plenty of space around which I really like as some places you are too close to other diners. The decor and layout was very impressive. The food was absolutely beautiful from the Haggis bon bons to the various curries we tried. The 2 kids meals were really good as well , and all were good sized portions. Considering how good the food was it wasn't too expensive. As I said it was our 1st time but we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend.

We arrived today at 13.20 waited at reception desk, ignored for 2 or 3 minutes then some lady took an order from a male guest despite us being there first. Then a staff member spoke to the lady at reception still ignoring us. The male who placed the order returned and placed an order again as he forgot something again we were ignored. Then at 13.27 we were asked " can I help you" were told we were too late for lunch as the cut off is 13.30 and even then we would need to leave by 2.30pm. Despite not actually being 13.30 and the fact we waited for some service and ignored, it does not say lunch online or on menu that lunch is 12pm till 2pm but you can't sit down after 13.30. We were spoken rudely to as if we should have known the rules of this establishment. You need to update your website to state this. Infact it says 12pm till 3pm. Anyway very disappointed overall as we recently moved into the area and thought we would eat local but sadly that was our mistake. Really very disappointed so no good reviews from us I'm afraid. ☹️☹️

me and my 10 friends went out for a meal and wow I couldn’t fault the place. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and shown to our table. The drink was fast and the food was exceptional. They even bought out a birthday cake for my friend’s birthday. Made the experience so much better.

Visited Alba for the first time on a Thursday evening. We opted for the pre-theatre menu which was very reasonably priced. My wife went for the European menu and I got the Indian menu. The chicken chaat was delicious and the Punjabi Style chicken for my main was fantastic too. Really different curry to what I would usually have, but I’m glad I went for it! Service was friendly and quick too. We will definitely be back.

The manager is shockingly rude for someone in a customer facing role. Lacks basic customer service skills. Won't be back and will certainly not be recommending to friends and family. The food is good but the attitude of staff from the top down really lets the place down. If they carry on like this it won't be long until they go the same way as previous owners.

Two of our group opted for the European menu, and the third chose from the Indian menu. Ballie offered guidance on our selection of dishes. The outcome was a succulent blend of colours, textures and flavours, served in generous portions. The limited wine list offers some highly quaffable options, at reasonable prices.

On first impression the restaurant was beautiful inside and very comfortable. The service is second to none and I can guarantee top class service! The food is amazing it's a must try. Been to many Indian restaurants and by far this was the best. Not only do they offer an Indian menu but they offer a European menu if spicy food isn't your thing. You will not be disappointed with the European menu either. Both the Indian and European menu is amazing. You definitely couldn't ask for a better place to have a great experience and meal! Well Done Alba, you never disappoint!

We thorougly enjoyed our meal. Especially the chicken bhoona. Lovely friendly staff. Great value for money. Only negative is.my Dad walks with a zimmer frame & the disabled loo was too far for him to walk though the staff did offer to help. When I booked I did request a table as close to the disabled loo as posdible but not sure staff had noted this. Next time we would bring a wheelchair. Thst aside I would not hesitate to book again but if you are bringing someone with wLking difficulties plan ahead. Amazin food great friendly staff. We will be back. We could not finish all our food but you are not able to take what you dont eat away disappointing to see food waste. Would love to see that change!!
