The best restaurants in North Lanarkshire Glasgow and Surrounding

This was our first time at Harrington’s as my friend kept telling me how good it was. Well all I can say is it was better than he said. Food was outstanding, and a great menu. John and the staff were totally outstanding with the service. Can honestly say best meal I’ve had in a long time dining out. Will definitely be back with my own family very soon. We came down from Dundee, visiting. I’m from Glasgow myself but I brought down some friends and the food was amazing! The staff were so kind and did as much as possible to accommodate us and find somewhere to place us. The food was delicious and the cupcakes were stunning!!! The iced lattes were amazing my niece had even said that they were better than the big name coffee shops!!!

Came here for the first time and I was not dissapointed. Was amazing food and amazing service, great sized portions at a great price. Very nice and polite people and a very clean and homely area to eat in would highly recommend, was a great place especially for a local. Will definently be back again.

My friend and I had a lovely lunch yesterday. From the moment we walked in untill the moment we left, we were looked after and we had a lovely time. Both mains were delicious and beautifully presented. We should have taken photographs. I had a lovely surprise when the girls sang happy birthday to me when they brought our desserts, which again, were delicious. I would highly recommend going as everything was great. Thank you everyone.

Excellent small cafe near Dunbeth park in Coatbridge. Food is excellent & very well presented, the staff are friendly & very helpful. We had a delicious chicken pie with potatoes & vegetables. The brownies are delicious. We have been many times before & look forward to returning.

First time here for dinner on Saturday and it was superb! We ordered the Greek bruschetta and it is a new favourite of mines!! My partner fancied chicken wings but they only did 6 wings for £15 as a main course, they kindly cooked him 4 large wings and we were charged £7. They were delicious! Following on from our starters we got a chicken gyros for £9. This was worth the money as it was again super tasty and nice and fresh food. My partner got the challenger burger & as you can see from the photos, it suits the name! He said it was the best burger he ever had! The staff were friendly and polite, very helpful & quick service. Lovely atmosphere, but if you dont do big portions this is not the place for you! However if you would like the chance to win a Greek holiday, this is another reason to visit. No payment needed just your receipt from your meal! The only downfall is the cola is served in cans, not draft. But overall 5/5! We will be back shortly!

This cafe run for and by special needs young people and is a welcoming place for coffee and cake while employing those who are disadvantaged by normal employers. Very friendly atmosphere.

Tucked away on Orbiston Street (behind Windmillhill Street) this is a cafe you could easily miss but well it's worth seeking it out. Parking is available and there's an outside seating area for those sunny Motherwell days. Run by Hope United Church, this welcoming, family friendly cafe space serves excellent freshly prepared food (paninis, wraps, baked potatoes, Scottish breakfasts, home made soup) and some of the best coffee in Motherwell. The only downside is... it's currently only open on Fridays and Saturdays. A great spot for an end of week treat.

A very good latte and easy to get to via window on outside of station. Friendly service and no issues with order.

Tried the new menu a lot of family favourites on it loved Gobi pakora, gol ghappi Lamb Chops & butter chicken Pilau Rice and garlic Nan Service was great as always staff very warm and friendly

Attended for Christmas lunch with colleagues. Three course lunch with coffee for £16. Good service. This restaurant is the showcase for final year hospitality students at New College Lanarkshire. Open to the public.

Lovely Coffee shop,Really friendly atmosphere with a great selection of food and tatsy cakes on offer.I visit here often, It's not only a friendly comfortable,clean place to sit in, Gillian the owner has a wide range of delicious fresh homemade food and cakes to suit many dietary requirements. Our daughter's purchased an afternoon tea delivery today for us,and it was excellent,the food was fresh with a mixture of mini pie,wraps ,rolls ,quiche ,side salad and delicious pastries.The food was excellent. It's been a while since I've managed to pay a visit to the resturant ,and with the present lockdown due to coviid 19, I thought it would be even longer but this delivery was a pleasant surprise ,and I will back visiting as with my wife and granddaughter Emma who loves lo cal kitchen as soon as their able to open again after the lockdown .
