Came here for the first time and I was not dissapointed. Was amazing food and amazing service, great sized portions at a great price. Very nice and polite people and a very clean and homely area to eat in would highly recommend, was a great place especially for a local. Will definently be back again.

I popped in here for lunch. The homemade soup was lovely and really filling. Nice coffee too. The lady serving me was really friendly and chatty which seemed fitting for a community cafe (there is also a large craft shop). A great place - I'd happily come back here for good food and friendly service.

All we had was Lentil soup and a sandwich late morning. Soup was hot as it should be;sandwich with a choice of brown or white bread was entirely acceptable. Interesting craft materials in the adjacent shop. I shall return.

Ordered fresh cream meringue it was disappointing .The meringue did not seem to be made with fresh eggs could be some kind of dried or frozen white of egg and the cream was not what I call fresh cream. After all the rage reviews I was really looking forward to a proper fresh cream meringue

Four of us had breakfast here before travelling north. It was the best breakfast I have ever had, and I have eaten a lot of breakfasts! All the components were freshly and perfectly cooked and excellent quality. Plenty of tea and coffee served with it. The girl serving was very pleasant and nothing was any bother to her. The craft centre also was very interesting to walk around. The great thing is....I live near here and can enjoy this anytime I want!

I am a frequent visitor to The craft Centre. As a family of 5 we just cannot see past it. Great menu, quaint décor, excellent, helpful staff. The macaroni cheese and home baking is a must. Love the tea cosies and little glass bottles of milkshake. The kids' favourite is the pancake stack--yum tum. All at an excellent price which is a bonus! Try it out, you will go back for more!

Popped in last week for my lunch and decided to go for the Cajun Chicken burger. On my previous visit I enjoyed the Fajitas so decided to go for Mexican again. Have to say I was blown away by the food. The traditional look is fantastic but deceiving as the variety of food is terrific. Also had the Beef Stroganoff on a previous visit which was to die for.

Please make sure your journey takes you towards this wonderful eaterie.Warm and cosy tea rooms within a lovely old red sandstone church.Either have a quick snack or if time permits enjoy a home cooked lunch. If you have room left please try the sticky toffee pudding with custard, not to be missed. Real custard served in the dish and not what seems to be the norm recently in a silly wee jug.

Planning on visiting a museum in this area we were looking for somewhere to have lunch and checked out Tripadvisor. We then decided to visit the Craft Centre Tearoom, which is slightly off the main traffic route but with the help of our trusty sat nav we found it.The tearoom forms part of the craft centre and is small and nicely set aside with partitions providing a comfortable place to dine. We all chose the All Day Breakfast and selected different items from the standard selection. Each plate correctly contained all that we asked for and was freshly cooked with toast and a large pot of tea provided for the price of £4.99 which we considered excellent value. There was also a very varied menu suiting all tastes and a lovely dessert/cake menu which unfortunately we had no room for.We also took time to browse the craft materials, cards etc and purchased some of them at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

My niece had a pamper party here and the staff could not have been more helpful. The girls had a great time the food was first class fresh sandwiches and sausage rolls and beautiful hand made cakes. A lovely experience. The also showed us round their formal dining room which I think they said holds 24 so ideal for a family gathering if no-ones house is big enough or you just want a treat. Could also hold meetings where tea and cskes can be provided. Overall a great place

Discovered this wee place from tripadvisor. It's a great tearoom with a large menu. Have tried lots of different dishes and never been disappointed. Have taken family and friends here, who now bring their friends and family too. Referring to the 'average' review - Yes-it is a tearoom, not a Michelin restaurant-but it does not try to be! It provides good-quality, well-cooked hearty portions of food which are freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Love this place!

I visited the tearoom with Mum after doing a "near me" search whilst waiting at Monklands Hospital. The tearoom is a cosy wee place and the food was great. I had soup and a sandwich, "the works" hot chocolate and a caramel slice. For the two of us, we were under £20. The baking was tremendous and clearly home baked.Suffice to say, we were delighted to have found this wee gem rather than just plumping for the hospital canteen - this place wins, hands down and is less than a mile away. It almost seems a shame it's so well hidden. Worth a visit.

A very good wee tea room with decent cafe type food. It is what it is I couldn't possibly agree with best restaurant in Coatbridge that's just not a fair or reasonable comparison but for what it is, a tea room, it does it well enough. Not homemade chips and prebought breaded fish both I think the same as in scottish school canteens from what I remember. macaroni cheese nice enough but still average had better. No major criticism it is a decent enough tea room but that's all it should not be compared to other proper restaurants that are around where you can easily get nicer plates of better quality food

Been here a few times for lunch and the food is excellent...not to mention the fab cakes! Held my daughters 7th birthday party here at end of January and we had use of one of the smaller rooms as well as some 'pampering' in the beauty salon which is also in the same building. That and a wonderful lunch for all the girls meant that she had a great party for a really reasonable price!

Visited here for the first time today with my wife for a quick brunch.Very pleasant, welcoming staff, a lovely menu. We both ordered french toast & bacon from the breakfast menu . Very nice but I did find the side salad a little strange, something you would find in the Med, not Lanarkshire. I also found walking through the gift shop to the seating was not ideal and disabled access was not apparent. All in all there was sufficient good things and the temptation of the homemade cakes for me to defiantly return.

Found out about this place on tripadvisor and ended up in here for lunch recently I must say when I pulled up outside I didn't have great expectations and thought it was maybe just a cafe with teas and sandwiches, but the menu was full of hot food options all very tempting. Food cooked fresh to order so takes a wee bit longer but didn't mind waiting an extra few minutes for this and you can call ahead if under time constraints, full cake menu too all home baking. Really rate and recommend this place a definate must try if you're local, we will be back soon.

Just had the pleasure of dining at the tearoom with my family for the first time and the food is fantastic. My husband and I both had the cheeseburger and chips, we are absolutely stuffed now! Kids had macaroni and cheese which they loved. Followed up by some amazing desserts, my husband managed to polish off the caramel shortcake sundae (pic to follow). Truly a great place to take the family, made to feel very welcome and the kids had plenty to do so they didn't become restless. The portions are so generous the price is very reasonable and the food delicious I could not recommend the craft centre tearoom enough try it you will not be disappointed!

I come here often with my family to eat as the food is so fresh and well cooked and the portion sizes are great. For my fussy family anything is possible and the staff are so helpful and will alter the meals to suit which for me is a saving grace! After hearing that only 3 people have ever managed to finish the "Go Large Breakfast" I decided to give it a bash, it's Coatbridge not Man v Food so it can't be that much of a challenge right? Wrong!! The breakfast tasted amazing but I didn't even come close to finishing it, well done to the chef you beat me! But I am now in training and will be back, I want my photo on that wallboard to show that I defeated the big breakfast so watch this space ...... Great quality and value for money guys and the service is first class.... So what are you waiting for get yourselves down there !

Took my family here for a nice quiet breakfast and was more than pleased. This is a really unique place, I love the fact they have recycled the old church pews to use in the cafe. It's decorated in a way that you feel really comfortable and almost forget you are in a cafe!! The staff could not be nicer or any more helpful. The food was perfect, especially the large Scottish breakfast (a must for a man with a big appetite!) They fed my family of 4 with loads of tea and other soft drinks for 20 quid which was very very good value for money these days. Will be returning and using it as my regular go to place for a family meal. Looking forward to returning next week to try the lunch menu!

My son and daughter-in-law booked this little cafe tea room for my grandson's christening lunch. It was first class. The buffet was brilliant with loads of savouries, home made sandwiches and unbelievable home baking. They catered brilliantly for around 60 guests and and everyone had a great time. Without exception every guest commented on the food the staff and the warm and friendly ambience of the place. It felt like almost we had hosted a family celebration in our own home. I cannot praise this place highly enough. As an artist I also love the fact that you enter the tea room through a packed lttle arts and craft store, and the whole decor of the place is arty , homely, warm and particularly tasteful. For a celebration, a lunch or just a quick cuppa with some great home baking you would be hard placed to find a better venue.

Tucked away on Orbiston Street (behind Windmillhill Street) this is a cafe you could easily miss but well it's worth seeking it out. Parking is available and there's an outside seating area for those sunny Motherwell days. Run by Hope United Church, this welcoming, family friendly cafe space serves excellent freshly prepared food (paninis, wraps, baked potatoes, Scottish breakfasts, home made soup) and some of the best coffee in Motherwell. The only downside is... it's currently only open on Fridays and Saturdays. A great spot for an end of week treat.

We went for the first time in ages. Mostly good. My daughter ordered a bottle of Irn Bru, it was completely flat, got it changed, very same thing. They were just going out of date.
