Discovered this wee place a few months ago while out dog walking. It’s safe to say I’ve had to up my game to burn off the extra calories. The cakes are fresh and delicious and the raspberry jam is amazing. Think I might be one of the best customers now.

I pass this wee shop every day, it’s an honesty box so no staff which is really different but enjoyable. The cakes are delicious, I’m addicted to their sweets as well. Their school cake is just like the cake I had as a child and it brings back amazing memories.

Tucked away on Orbiston Street (behind Windmillhill Street) this is a cafe you could easily miss but well it's worth seeking it out. Parking is available and there's an outside seating area for those sunny Motherwell days. Run by Hope United Church, this welcoming, family friendly cafe space serves excellent freshly prepared food (paninis, wraps, baked potatoes, Scottish breakfasts, home made soup) and some of the best coffee in Motherwell. The only downside is... it's currently only open on Fridays and Saturdays. A great spot for an end of week treat.
