Got a delivery last night from here. Genuinely one of the worst. Good points the fried rice was fresh & the plain chow mein was fresh & nice too. Bad points - Breast Sliced Chicken Curry , it wasn’t breast sliced I got a chicken bone in my curry. The curry sauce wasn’t nice Salt and chilli chips were one of the most basic & worst I’ve had from a Chinese takeaway, I’ve saw Scottish cafes have better attempts. Wouldn’t recommend and most definitely wouldn’t return. A thin bone in a Breast chicken curry how is that even possible?

Always thought this takeaway was the best but the last 3times the curry has had no flavour all you got was a very nippy tongue was like they had tipped the pot of curry powder in. As I said always came here so gave it a couple of chances before I wrote a review incase we had just been unlucky. So last few times not been a pleasant experience.

Jumped into a taxi and asked the driver to take us to a good Chinese restaurant. He took us to the Aqua, and it was a good choice. Good menu with a wide range of dishes. Good , friendly helpful staff served us promptly and the food was well presented, tasty and good portions Decent price too. Well worth a visit

Ordered a huge family meal from Special Kitchen and couldn’t believe when they had the order ready, (including some very welcome freebies) in 15 minutes. The couple couldn’t have been nicer when we collected the food and there were thumbs up all round at home. I’ll definitely be back and recommend it to all!

Loved Ashoka Southside, loving Asoka Muirhead. Not exaggerating to say it was a factor in choosing Muirhead to move to. Pakoras and samosas are among the best I've had, and I've found my perfect lamb main - dhaba curry (I ask for 'spicy' - the standard is too mild for my liking). Portions are generous. Veggie options are limited (no brinjal, no okra, no call for it round here says the manager). Takeaway is good too, as I can have a pint of Madri lager in their nice bar whilst I'm waiting.

Service friendly and with a smile. Rather untidy shop. Counter untidy and to the right behind the counter looks an organised storage room. Asked for a special Kung po with no prawns and fried rice. I got a special Kung po with prawns. Not what I asked for and anyone with food allergies please be careful. The pork was fatty, the beef tasteless and the chicken okay. The sauce was just very sweet. Fried rice fine. Plusses were plenty of tasty veg and the rice was fine. There is a car park across the road. Far better Chinese takeaways in the area in my opinion.
