This was my first visit since before covid. The staff as usual are so attentive, hard working, the restaurant as usual is spotless, the food obviously is always fresh, however, since my last visit I found the selection had changed to boring, there were more fried vegetables like green beans, fried broccoli, and onion rings, in my opinion it was like the management were cutting down to maximise profit rather than maintaining a tasty and interesting meal for customers, as I said earlier, the more times I went up to smaller the given choices, the more bored I became, one dish merged into the next taste wise, however, at the end, their usual apple crumble and custard was as usual excellent, and given the price including a half pint shandy at just over £24.00, the whole exercise was a ripoff, I've had a much tastier take away from Lidl a £2.89. Waited 40 min to get my order wrong 🤔was a walk. Ithey kept telling pp on phone half hour that's a joke and curry taste of. Burnt not impressed

Order from this place regularly Staff always friendly and meals always consistent Tonight I went for a wee change and quick snack, had a fried rice with a portion of curry sauce. Fried rice was cooked to perfection and they even put spring onions on it for me too! Curry sauce is perfect, isn’t too hot or too mild. 10/10 guys, keep up the amazing work and can’t wait for my next meal 🍜

Normally Ken Wok is great for food, however a couple of Saturdays ago, the food was pretty poor. I ordered a breast of chicken curry. The fried rice seemed hard and the chicken was tough. I thought it was a one off, gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered food again tonight and opted for boiled rice, which was fine. The breast of chicken was almost inedible it was so tough. Very disappointed, won’t go back.

Dragon Rolls, chicken Katsu Curry and prawn Guoza. The presentation was incredible, everything was made fresh to order and it tasted amazing. I can’t believe that we have this standard of Japanese food available locally. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you’ve not been since they introduced the new menu then please give them another try, you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

Terrible food wouldn’t go back rice was dry and stodgy the kung - Po had no flavour. the satay chicken on skewers were dry and so over priced

We have eaten here before and enjoyed it. Not today. Possibly the worst meal and experience I've had in years. We did mention that to reception on our way out and asked them to pass on our comments. Apart from poor, slow service (in an otherwise empty restaurant) we had a dreadful meal. My daughter's fish was 'off'. Luckily she worked this out quickly. We were offered another one. We declined as we weren't confident it would be any fresher. Both meals were clearly straight from the freezer, costing £17 and £18 each. We weren't charged for the fish. We left. I had eaten only a small part of my ' chicken burger and chips ' as they hadn't served a chicken burger. Rather a large lump of chicken in a bun. Food was cold soggy and curry sauce was lumpy, won’t be ordering again

I had food posion drom here lasted 2 days. Never eat out it since please do not go nere the place should be closed down staff are cheecky with disabled ppl

Food was late and cold . Curry sauce was like jelly

Got a chicken curry, fried rice and salt and chilli chips. The curry and rice was completely tasteless (honestly like eating unflavoured food) the salt and chilli chips were basically burnt chips with half a tub of salt. Phoned to complain and the person who was supposedly the manager pretended not to hear me and understand me and just kept saying ok ok?! Avoid like the plague! Don’t waste your money. Unless you like tasteless food and unhelpful management.
