Well, after a long time, I ordered a home delivery...the salt content in all the food, especially the gravy, the satay sauce and the chow mein is absolutely horrendous. The high levels of salt cannot be safe for human consumption.. shocking. If you value your blood pressure and kidneys, stay away...

Food is always delivered on time, hot and tasty. Staff are friendly too. Would highly recommend! Order from here regularly and have never had any issues.

This was my first visit since before covid. The staff as usual are so attentive, hard working, the restaurant as usual is spotless, the food obviously is always fresh, however, since my last visit I found the selection had changed to boring, there were more fried vegetables like green beans, fried broccoli, and onion rings, in my opinion it was like the management were cutting down to maximise profit rather than maintaining a tasty and interesting meal for customers, as I said earlier, the more times I went up to smaller the given choices, the more bored I became, one dish merged into the next taste wise, however, at the end, their usual apple crumble and custard was as usual excellent, and given the price including a half pint shandy at just over £24.00, the whole exercise was a ripoff, I've had a much tastier take away from Lidl a £2.89. Waited 40 min to get my order wrong 🤔was a walk. Ithey kept telling pp on phone half hour that's a joke and curry taste of. Burnt not impressed

first time ordering.. thought it was bland.. not the greatest

Normally Ken Wok is great for food, however a couple of Saturdays ago, the food was pretty poor. I ordered a breast of chicken curry. The fried rice seemed hard and the chicken was tough. I thought it was a one off, gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered food again tonight and opted for boiled rice, which was fine. The breast of chicken was almost inedible it was so tough. Very disappointed, won’t go back.

Dragon Rolls, chicken Katsu Curry and prawn Guoza. The presentation was incredible, everything was made fresh to order and it tasted amazing. I can’t believe that we have this standard of Japanese food available locally. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you’ve not been since they introduced the new menu then please give them another try, you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

Don’t even need to go into detail it’s rotten and when you phone to tell them that they’ll put you on hold to talk to the kitchen then come back and tell you your lying. Apparently this is salt and chilli chicken lol a can’t see much chicken and full order was like that £30 order threw in the bin. Mugs

I had food posion drom here lasted 2 days. Never eat out it since please do not go nere the place should be closed down staff are cheecky with disabled ppl

Ordered kung po chicken and chicken chow mein. Meal was cold on arrival. Kung-po was disgusting. No spice whatsoever and it was like a sweet and sour sauce however tasted horrible. The chicken chow mein some of the noodles were still white and not cooked and chow mein very dry with no veg at all. I phoned and requested refund however I was told that the meals needed to be intact. We already had put them on our plate along with the rice and I explained that some of it had been eaten as this is how we knew it had tasted horrible. They were going to send the driver to pick them back up and the girl on the other end of the phone said as long as they get them back untouched a refund would be given. I said to forget it and I would be putting on this review. She said okay then. Not caring.

Been using ming star for years. We use different Chinese for different things we like but this is the best Sweet & sour chicken in Airdrie. No complaints about any other dishes we have received either
