Food is distinctly average and not one of the cheaper Chinese takeaways in Motherwell. For the money I think you can get better elsewhere.

Order cancelled by Wok express because and I quote”did not spend enough. Cancelling any order below£50! It was a collection and I didn’t know it was cancelled until I arrived. Rude server.

I've ate allot of Chinese foods but this place is most probably the best. The staff are friendly and the service is second to none. Even when they made a mistake with my order they had a driver bring me the right order free of charge and look at the size of it! They were so quick my other family members were still eating their food when they delivered for the second time. You gunna spend your money on a good Chinese in Scotland spend it here 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Had a meal from here last week. Just the usual chicken curry fried rice and salt and pepper chips. Wanted to try somewhere new. Never again. Ended up with food poisoning. Avoid like the plague.

Spare Ribs made us ill. Asked for money money at the door after already paying. Threatening to take order back after this. Shocking customer service Inedible food Avoid

got the sweet n sour chicken with fried rice which was delicious. The batter was light and crispy very yummy.

I used tae love this shop, but over the past few years it has gone through a few new management changes, and it seems everytime the quality of food has gone down hill with every new owner/manager.. For years I used Just Eat while ordering food because I could pay by card and tip the driver when he dropped off my food.... Now the price of the food on Just Eat is on average £0.60 more per item than buying in the shop. So tonight I went in and I got a Thai chicken with fried rice, price is ok £7.80 in shop, £8.50 just eat... For the first time ever in my life I could only eat about half my meal and that's only because I forced it down my throught,, even adding Frank's Hot Sauce couldn't save it.... Sad tae say I'll never be going back

I ordered a munchie box last late last night to my home and I had my girlfriend with me that I just started dating and when it arrived we couldnt even eat it, It was sooo salty, the chicken had so much salt on it like crystals. I didnt want to complain because It was late at night and didnt want to make a scene because my girlfriend was there. I was up all night drinking water and felt soo thirsty all day and tired because I did not sleep. I put the food that was left in the box in the bin this morning and that cost me £19. I dont normally complain but I had never ordered food from there before and I felt like I had wasted my money. When I called them I spoke to a chinese woman and I tried to explain all this too her, she kept saying why didnt I call last night then hung up on me. I called back and she left me hanging on the phone when serving customers, when she came back on she said quite rudely she wasnt willing to refund me and that I should have called the day before then hung up again. I cant believe how rude and unprofessional she was couldnt care less about the customer. I tried to explain myself but she wouldnt listen she just kept saying if you eat it in the morning it wont be good, I told her I didnt eat it in the morning I put it in the bin. I will never ever eat from this place ever again and I strongly advise nobody else pays for food so badly seasoned it makes you sick because the owners definately dont care about this!!!! they basically said I was lying!!

Ordered onion rings = Missing Ordered 8 chicken balls = Got 2 chicken balls AND 2 "king spring rolls" (That I didn't even order) Lost £10.50 Called to complain and got called a LAIR. Great what they call "Customer Service". Sad. Sad. Sad.

Order was wrong so we called only to be called liers and it was impossible after using them for years never complained until tonight. We will never use them again and if I could give them minus I would disgusting how they treat customers. :(

We got food delivered. Was delivered quickly, food was gorgeous, still piping hot when it got here. Portion sizes are great for the price, and the food itself tasted amazing, genuinely no faults.

Ordered here from Just Eat 5 times now, it has a 4.5 star rating on the app, leading me to be confused by all the negative reviews on Google. Can't write off people's bad experiences but my own have been spot on. Instantly became our choice of Chinese when we moved to motherwell.

So we just happened to be driving through motherwell on the way to our home in ayrshire and thought we would try out this takeaway. We bought a chicken chow mein szechuan and brought it home. When we open it and attempted to eat it we discovered that THE NOODLES WERE UNCOOKED. A few noodles around the edges were cooked and seemed to disguise the raw food. But to be honest, whoever "cooked and served" this meal MUST have known the noodles where uncooked. I mean, you can hear them snap. Like straight out the packed noodles that haven't been watered down. Disgusting. I'm actually shocked at just how bad this was. Zero star rating Took a video but unable to post on TripAdvisor

Good size portions, curry sauce had a wee kick to it which was nice.

Service at the counter was very bad. Order was taken with a rude attitude. Customer service non existing. Being busy and under pressure is not a reason for poor service. This is how you push customers away.

First time ordering and it was horrible! Watery weird coloured curry sauce and conjealed ribs. So bad we re-ordered from elsewhere. I sent pics and videos to them and they refused to refund us, even when I showed we had to get something else. The top is from Wok Express bottom elsewhere.

Little bit salty but overall a great meal, fast service. Open till 11.30 weeknights

We have been using this takeaway for many weeks & been mostly happy with our meals, but tonight's Chicken Marylands were absolutely awful. So tasteless & can't say one positive thing about it. What a waste!! Most of it went in the bin. So disappointed.

Really disappointed. Always loved the food in here. Got a munchies box and for the price there was not much in it with the curry sauce taking up much of the room in the 9" box. I had chicken noodle soup as I've been ill. Way too salty and appeared to be chicken stock wolith soy sauce as a base with some noodles and a bit of chicken flung in.. Could have made better myself for about 50p. Was supposed to be a treat and it wasnt

I received an order on the 8th December which was frozen. It arrived very late I order here all the time was so upset and threw most of my meal out chips were frozen couldnt be eaten. I didnt call and complain just decided not to order again. Lost a good customer

Easily the best Chinese muchie box around the local area, it's a must try and you won't be dissatisfied.

Food is fresh and plentiful good menu and happy staff. I love it.

Had Singapore noodles and pancake rolls £9.90, was tasteless, overspiced food, cheap ingredients...threw it away.

When did getting a Saturday night takeaway become so expensive. £15 minimum spend from wok express on just eat now. Too dear can't justify that for myself. With delivery that's £20. Can eat out for that. No thanks.

As usual Wok Express delivers tasty food and generous portion size. Thai style beef is hot and spicy without being overpowering. Delicious

Driver arrived with food and a sausage supper from the chip shop next door. He was under the impression I had asked for a sausage supper when I hadn’t. He left after we advised that this was not for us but then came back approx 15 mins later and tried to say it was on our order when clearly it wasn’t. You cannot order a sausage supper from the Chinese.

Thai beef noodles for the first time. Lovely. Portion was massive.

So disappointed with my food from here, ordered salt and chilli chicken and there was no chilli in it, it was just all salt. The bbq sauce was terrible, was nothing like bbq sauce I’ve had previously.

Recommend the Salted and Chili chicken wings an appetizer delicious 😀

Food wasn’t the best to be honest, I had chicken fried rice, they just put huge slices of chicken on rice with a small bit of curry sauce 👎🏼 very dry, the chips were cold 👎🏼

have ordered here for a while but it has went down hill. salt and chilli chips were soggy and prawn toast was burnt, called to advise and was offered 10% off my next order. told them I wouldn’t be ordering again and wanted a refund, took nothing to do with this and advised to contact just eat. girl on phone stated she “only works here “so asked to speak to the owners who apparently don’t speak English and she eventually hung up on me. disappointed and won’t. ever be back, I would highly recommend the hup lee though if you are looking for great Chinese food, good service and speedy delivery, should have just stuck to what I know!!! unfortunately not on just eat though but worth it.

Delivery time was good, had no interaction with anyone else other that delivery driver who was friendly. Food was not up to much. Ordered soup and salt and chilli ribs which were OK however also got breast of chicken chow main and it went in the bin. Also didn't think this was good value for money. Sorry but I would not recommend.

The food was nice but was really soggy, chewy and warm almost as if it was heated up in a microwave and quite disappointed as usually it comes nice and hot and crispy

I waited 1hr 45minutes on a food order tonight. Shop said there was roadworks but how can a 5minute journey take 1hr 45 mins? Driver was rude and unapologetic. it wasn't his fault apparently as he proceeded to complain about all the deliveries and places he had to go. Food was soggy and cold. Never again. Used to get great service before just eat arrived on the scene, now every time the food takes well over an hour to arrive. Wont be back on Just Eat or to the Wok Express. Very Poor.

I am very disappointed, food is cold rubbish and very late

yes the delivery was on time but waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes for it is not good, then when it came the Roast Duck was fatty and rubber I have never seen anything like it in my life, the chips and spring rolls were cold, I called for a refund but they cldnt give it because I ordered it from Just Eat 🤬 they sent a chicken curry with fresh chips which once again was cold so I won’t be ordering anything from there again

The order arrived late with no rice, food was cold and although girl on phone was polite they wouldn’t resend main course with rice. When rice arrived it was also cold, tasted one bit chicken and whole lot went in bin. Always ordered from here but quality has gone really down hill last few orders! Won’t be ordering again!

Was told my delivery would take an hour max... Waited 2hrs for a delivery even though the takeaway is only 1.5 miles away from me. Busy or not 2hrs is a joke.

ordered beef curry with fried rice and salt+chilli chips, order took literally 10 minutes to get here from the time of order, opened the bag to find beef in what looked like a tub full of fat with sliced green pepper, received no rice and chips were soggy.. highly disappointed as wok express is one of my favourite takeaways normally.

Order came early which was a nice surprise.. but was very disappointed with the cream of chicken soup.. It was very watery and wasn't what I was expecting hoping for. Very disappointed and won't be ordering again.

Order was late Ordered a red chicken curry and they gave me something else that had garlic and green veg through it was told if I wanted to change my order I would then need to pay an other delivery charge even though they sent the wrong food out ! Also the desert was very bad Overall it’s a terrible take away will not be ordering again !!
