Wok Express in North Lanarkshire

Ordered food at 6.14pm, Just Eat site said food delivered, it wasn’t! I called restaurant just before 8 and told them that I had not received my order. I was told sorry about the wait and that the food would be delivered, order received 20.43. PM.

as always food lovely and hot and delivery was early.

Food never arrived. Tried calling restaurant who said it was on its way. After another 30 mins after app said it had already been delivered I tried calling again twice but could only reach answer phone. Ate toast instead. Disappointed and won’t be ordering here again.

Order never turned up even though it was marked as delivered

Driver left at reception, as instructed. Great service and lovely food. Would definitely recommend!

Food always arrives very warm and cooked very well. The staff follow all requests/instructions given and delivery is always super quick. Our favourite Chinese takeaway! Highly recommend.

Unfortunately the delivery driver got stuck in football traffic so food arrived quite cold I was able to reheat the food itself was delicious

my roast pork was very fatty which is unsual as the food quality is normally excellent

Poor quality. Starters peking ribs ok but rubbish chicken wings. Horrible processed chicken in the main curry , chips over cooked. Won’t be back

prawn toast basic and lacked filling. chicken satay good but would have been better if sauce separate so could stay crispy not soggy. but crispy chilli beef. outstanding. Well worth the wait

Waited over two hours from ordering to delivery.

I go to the wok express every time i play pool at TJ’s..which is a lot. Their salt and chilli chips are amazing!! I tried their chicken chow mein tonight, which i cannot fault. very big portions too which is another plus. thumbs up from a very fussy eater 👍🏻👍🏻

Still waiting after an hour and a half

The food was cold. The munchy box was wet because of the condensation from being wrapped in a poly bag which made the food soggy.

Everything was really nice really enjoyed it

Steak was cold and the sauce for everyway and hardly any curry with with the rice and chicken balls

Ordered Chicken & Fried Rice, and Fresh fried battered Onion Rings..The food delivered on time and was piping hot and was freshly made. The chicken was so tender and juicy I could cut through it with the edge of my soon, the portions were large

Wow! Had a brilliant dinner from Wok express. Crispy Honey Chicken, Crispy shredded chilli beef, Chips, salt and chilli chips and a portion of Curry sauce&onion. Everything was lovely.Our usual place was closed so we tried here.Will defo be back.

Had Shechuan beef and a duck here, it was absolutely great. The lady working to there is very nice too. Fully recommend this place, its a gem.

Ordered beef garlic bbq, the meat was very chewy/a lot of sinew. Also had an off putting smell when opening the lid of the dish. Cashews were nicest part Wouldnt order again

Chicken fried rice with gravy was dry, not enough sauce, even asking paying for extra. Order was a collection but was going out with the delivery driver 🫤

Oh dear where to start, ordered a delivery last night of chicken chow mein and a sweet and sour Cantonese. Waited well over an hour and when it eventually came we only got a chicken chow mein and a soup. Obviously we like to eat together so we sent it back and had to make other arrangements. I called them to be told that I would get the missing sweet and sour next time as a good will gesture. Tonight I thought why not and called them to be told I'm not getting it anymore as I cancelled the previous order, of course I did it was very late and wrong. What they expected me to do was pay for the previous order including the food I didn't get and then they were going to send me it if I wanted it at a later date as a goodwill gesture!!!!! Oh my goodness are you kidding me, I would have already paid for it. I don't think, actually scratch that, I definitely won't be back

I'm usually picky with Chinese food bur this place is levels above the competition. salt and chilli chicken was amazing with enough to feed 2 people and the sauce on it was amazing. chicken curry rolls were absolutely massive and packed to the brim of chicken curry. 10 outta 10. get what you pay for

Our #1 choice for Chinese takeaway, never bother looking anywhere else. Food always delicious, hot and plenty of it. Always early too. Definitely recommend 👌

Salt and chilli box was bland!!! ribs had no meat on them (all fat) and were over cooked

Been ordering with the wok express for years through Just Eat. Always get free prawn crackers with my order if it's over £19(not including delivery) This time no prawn crackers. I called the wok express and they said you don't get free prawn crackers with just eat orders. What a joke and a complete disregard for a loyal customer. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Easy to order online, food delivered quickly and still piping hot. Great portions and very tasty! Best chicken curry I've had in a long time (and I've had a few!) Would definitely use again

Came early and was very chewy,it was that bad I didn’t eat it and when I contacted them they wanted to give me another one which I didn’t want as I wasn’t well after eating.

didn't receive my salt and chilli chips , now my meal is basically ruined as I was looking forward to them all day at work

Quality of the chicken in the cream of chicken soup wasn’t great and was quite watery. The Fried was quite soggy.

Please don’t hate me for this lol your food was absolutely amazing really can’t fault it but chicken noodle soup just a little too much salt. Calm down on it lol. Breast of chicken curry with boiled rice. Everything was lovely absolutely amazing. Chicken balls (salt n chilli). Was a bit too baggy lol you’ll get what I mean when you order it. Would I order again? Yes absolutely! but they really need to change the amount of salt. Salt n chilli chips just as u would imagine fantastic

The food was really nice and enjoyed it but it took nearly 2 hours from when the order was placed until I received my order which was just to long considering the restaurant is only 4-5 miles from my house but the driver did apologise for the long delivery and explained it had been unusually really busy

Deliver time was changed 2 times. Waited Over 2 hours for delivery. Just lost a customer.

The food was dreadful. I order a salt and pepper box thing for me and kids. The box came it was all burst and the food was dry had one bit each and then went in bin a waste. Fact I will never order from them again

This was the first time order something other than curry from here and I must admit me and my partner are so glad we did the food was amazing, better than what we could have ever thought, will definitely be order again from here

Curry is delicious as usual , but far too spicy , it seems to get spicier every week , it ruins our enjoyment of it

Food is distinctly average and not one of the cheaper Chinese takeaways in Motherwell. For the money I think you can get better elsewhere.

Never has a problem before but the Chips were reheats and wasn’t as good as it normally is .

Excellent fresh hot food from the Wok express, I love their Lat-Jen Beef with boiled rice.

Curry was nice and the chicken just melted in your mouth, my partner liked the chicken chow mein, defo get out there again, 10/10

Will not use again. After spending £75 and being a regular customer I got my order with no sauce to go with the chicken balls. I called the restaurant and was shouted at by the lady who answered telling me I didn’t order and pay for sauce!! So rude shouting at me saying I was wrong. Ended up hanging up and will never use them again!

Sweet and sour sauce was lovely, which I prefer. not spicy which I can’t take at the moment. The mini meals also a perfect size though I might have to order more sauce. The pork sweet and sour was excellent. And the crispy spring rolls brilliant.
