TAO TAKE AWAY in North Lanarkshire

Ordered kung po chicken and chicken chow mein. Meal was cold on arrival. Kung-po was disgusting. No spice whatsoever and it was like a sweet and sour sauce however tasted horrible. The chicken chow mein some of the noodles were still white and not cooked and chow mein very dry with no veg at all. I phoned and requested refund however I was told that the meals needed to be intact. We already had put them on our plate along with the rice and I explained that some of it had been eaten as this is how we knew it had tasted horrible. They were going to send the driver to pick them back up and the girl on the other end of the phone said as long as they get them back untouched a refund would be given. I said to forget it and I would be putting on this review. She said okay then. Not caring.

Just had sweet and sour chicken balls with rice and a portion of chips. It was like eating glue!!!! Mushing but dry and nasty.. the chips must of been the cheapest frozen rubbish they could buy. It takes me 3 months to save for my Saturday treat and I have just thrown it in the bin. Even the dog refused to eat it.

Love this place, 5 stars from me. The food was absolutely amazing!! I had chips and curry and they were amazing, cooked to perfection

Ordered from tao, expecting an excellent service as we had spend £43 on the food. Went to the shop to add a sauce that we mistakenly forgot. When walking into the shop I was barked at by staff for not wearing a mask- even after explaining I was exempt. My partner walked in with his mask and was hassled by the receptionist and told to phone the shop to order it, we complied with this. The receptionist then refused to use card payment. After much wasted time we came back with cash and the receptionist left us sitting outside for quite some time knowing we were there,- this was unprofessional The curry sauce was then cold that we paid £5.50 for, and the Chinese we had spent £37 on was appalling, the sauce was bland, the salt and chilli chips was barely salt and chilli and the chicken was extremely sickening. Overall, this was a waste of money and time and I will NOT be ordering from here again. £43 for the most disgusting dinner I’ve ever had.

Please dont waste your time ordering from here. £26 for two portions of chillie chips , chillie chicken and noodles with onions . Phoned and complained and got money back. The chips were freezing and hard , the chicken was mush and wet and had an unusual taste and the noodles were dry , if didn't get my money back would have went in the bin.

Visited on Friday evening, food was really good, but prime example off why now we are not allowed to enter a takeaway, tiny little shop & at least 6 people were standing inside not to mention at least 6 behind counter!

Food is always good when I have visited, seen few comments bout staff manners but always found them pleasant enough when I have visited, food is always piping hot

Worst meal I’ve had, reheated soggy chips, weak curry sauce. And the meat tasted off. The prices are extortionate, £1.80 just for crackers!

Today I have ordered a Chicken Chow Mein and it was absolutely lovely, as always. People are friendly and fast service. Would definitely recommend it!

Evita este lugar, de acuerdo con los comentarios negativos. Es un exorbitante y el servicio al cliente es el peor que he encontrado. En primer lugar, tuve que esperar hasta el fin de semana para ver nadie a cargo! Sólo lo que ellos quieran, ninguna autoridad en el lugar. Una gran salsa curry en su propia era de £3. 50! !Encargué la mitad de un pato asado y me emocionó lo que llegó, esperaba de la manera que se sirve en un restaurante chino donde parece un pájaro jaja, este era como carne triturada, el pack! !

A pedir comida y pregunté si podía conseguir sal y pelotas de pollo chili en lugar de normal. Me dijeron sí, así procedió con orden y en vez de 6 libras me cobraron más cerca de 10 libras. Cuando mi esposa llamó a la pregunta que ella me dijo que era por lo que hizo el pedido.

Mi pareja pidió dulce y agria pollo estilo Hong Kong me mina ordenados desde el indio en el mismo lugar. Llegué a casa y mi pareja no habían dado carne de pollo. Él no come carne debido a alergias. Cuando llamé entonces la chica estaba lleno de actitud así como ella me dijo que no me dejé mi comida y fuimos a sustituir mi comida y, de nuevo, la chica socios jóvenes lleno de actitud no podía entender por qué nos trajeron el arroz también? ? Cualquiera comer arroz chino pone el primero luego de la comida, así que el arroz estaba cubierta de carne. No contento mi comida es ahora de congelación por la incompetencia de conseguir un orden correcto. También ninguna disculpa! No pedir de nuevo! !

Me pida comida a Tao Chino en una base regular, ya que la comida es deliciosa, sin embargo el personal en el mostrador de actitud absolutamente repugnante, por decir lo menos. La forma en que está hablado es una absoluta vergüenza tan agresivo y os dejéis embaucar. Todo lo que necesita es modales. También han desafiado los costos de entrega como siempre pedir la misma comida y me dijeron los precios habían aumentado y el cargo era correcto este era un adicional de £5 - "me refiero a que soy consciente de la inflación, pero vamos"! ! ! Sin embargo he tenido numerosos pedidos desde entonces que han permanecido en el costo original. Básicamente acusado de ser un mentiroso cuando este fue cuestionado. Yo sinceramente la sensación de que los propietarios realmente necesidad de abordar este tema antes que perder clientes valorados. En mi reciente visita a la señora de la barra era nada de grosero y odioso.

I get my take away from here all the time great food quick delivery and they give u microwaveable reusable dishes incase the portion is too big

Very salty food, extortionate prices and incredibly rude staff. The young girl at the desk could do with learning some basic manners. Don't waste your money.

Brill chips. Nice curry, lovely rice and fantastic cream of chicken soup. The chips were freshly made and lovely and crispy. Nicest I've had from a chinese take away. We have found our new go-to place for a take away.

Absolutamente Tao del amor . .. .. .. .. estado utilizando la comida para llevar para un largo tiempo sin defos recomendaría este como una de las mejores tiendas de comida para llevar en esta zona

I use this takeaway on a regular basis as the food is good, though the staff are very rude. I too noticed that the staff answer the phone before taking orders from the people in the queue in the shop. I now check how busy the shop is before entering and if very busy, I just phone my order from the door, thus skipping the queue.

Good for a lunchtime meal (e.g. Chicken Curry with Rice or chips or Half & Half) plus a can for £3.50.All cooked in front of you with fresh ingredients, very fast and tasty even if the counter assistant is a bit cheeky!Get there before the school kids arrive at 1305 hours and you might beat the queue!Worth a visit if you are in the local area.
