New Open Kitchen in North Lanarkshire

Delivery driver didn’t speak, waited nearly 2 hours for delivery and it was cold on delivery. Great place for collection but will never use again as no warning on how long food would take.

food was stone cold, all soggy from being in the boxes too long, curry sauce all clumpy, and missing cans of juice

Always use this place as it is normally really good. We got chicken maryland with curry sauce. Very disappointed. Used to get 2 fillets of chicken. We got 2 very small flat pieces. It was disgusting. Neither of us could chew it as it really very dry. The curry sauce was very watery as well. We were really disappointed. We had to bin the chicken as it was inedible. We only had the chips with the watery sauce. Maybe just an off night but it was horrible.

Order from here lots of times for delivery and collection , tonight ordered a delivery , well 2 hours later and we are still waiting. Off to my bed for work now so what a waste of time. Called the shop was told would definitely be here for 9pm ordered just before 7pm. Never again shame cause I've used this Chinese for around 9 years

Chop suey tasted like soap, called the shop to replace and they sent another that smelled the exact same. Never had a problem before tonight but won’t buy again from here

Had food here a few times. It's ok but nothing more

2 hours late and order still not hear. Called the restaurant twice to be told will be 5 mins so fobbed off. Disappointing as usually good but tonight been shambles. Blaming being busy and just app playing up to blame it saying it was delivered but shop admitted it never left.

Tasteless not salt & chilli chips like I ordered hardly any sweet & sour sauce have had a few tasteless orders. Wont be ordering again

Best Chinese I've had in a while. BBQ ribs were superb - that sauce, i could drink it... 😋 Breast of chicken curry full of flavour and properly cooked fried rice. Will definitely be ordering again

Not one to leave bad reviews but the food i just received wasnt even eadible the whole lot had to be binned,not sure how long it was cooked before being delievered but it was extremely soggy not much of taste to it either.

This is the third time my order has been wrong!! We asked for a plain burger and it came with salad dressing/sauce/mayo etc on it! And also given cheese balls instead of fries! 😡

Delivery time changed to 15 mins later from given delivery time then was an additional 10/15 mins later after that before arrival. Food itself was ok wasn’t cold but not hot either and my barbecue spare ribs WITH sauce came with barely any sauce at all. Prawn crackers were a nice touch but there was no sauce to dip them in to

Arrived 2 hours after ordering, and the delivery guy didn't seem to understand how the buzzer worked.

called twice to be told food was on way 1/2 hour between calls. food over 1 hour late, 2 1/2 hours from ordering

the reheated chips i would never give a customer you could not eat them thay were so hard and dryed up . And i know how chips should be when just cooked as i am a qualified chef i would never server them to a customer i used to praise your takeaway way but lately the food is going down hill.

Dinner was just over and hour late and when contacted told it was on its way buy waited 1 hour later before recieving food!

Spare ribs were good. Chicken fried rice and a portion of curry sauce wasn’t that nice . Far too salty . Not sure if it was the sauce or the fried rice. Won’t be ordering from here again

The food was okay but unfortunately I poured the gravy all over my food before tasting it and the gravy was just so full of salt I couldnt eat the food. Would order again but be wary of the gravy

I have now been waiting to hear from you 5 days after emailing all evidence. This is supposed to be resolved within 48 hours. I am getting nowhere with this. I am a very good customer with you and expected so so much more. I will be taking this further.

Always get from here, but the last twice my order has been wrong. Tonight ordered a duck curry and got a chicken curry instead even though I paid extra for the duck.

Lovely tasty food. It was piping hot when arrived. Only downside was, didn’t have enough satay sauce for the chicken balls with the happy meal deal.

Love the food from here but the last few times we’ve ordered the food has been stone cold! Got notification that the food was on its way and it was delivered 50 minutes later! A bit gutted as the food it lovely, when it’s warm!!

Was lovely food but sadly took 2hrs 15mins from order to arrive ! Great if you have time on your hands - or I guess until staff are able to hire drivers or it not be a Saturday :)

I ordered collection mistakenly and after explaining over the phone they delivered my order to me 1 hour after closing time with no complaint or charge. Very kind people, exceptional food every single time and outstanding customer service. If you’re wanting Chinese food definitely order from here.

Good was cold and has went in bin ordered at 650 delivered at 840. Never usually a problem as order here often. Shocking

Very disappointed! Prawn balls very over cooked asked for sauces not to be sent as a waste as do not eat however note ignored... Duck dish was nice with ginger and spring onion though.

Couldn’t believe soup missed off order again!!! When I called and said it was 2 weeks in a row the answer I got was yes but we sent out after so no issue!! Clearly not the brightest bunch and can’t get simple orders correct but willing to take my money ! Will be the last time I ever order from this terrible takeaway and will waste their time in the future as they have wasted mine …….

Food was cold and the salt and chilli chicken wings were so dry and the so called sauce with the special fried rice was so thick it was difficult to pour out of the tub and it didn't taste very nice

How is it possible to send out to cold munchies boxes one after the other called up was told its cold outside that might be why when it's being delivered in a car with heating and just eat provide heat bags

Don't order munchie box, other food is fine but munchie box is a box of seasoning and salt

Ordered a takeaway for the first time in about 10 years last night from Open Kitchen. Prawn toast and breast of chicken curry with fried rice. Delivered in 25 minutes and the meal was lovely. Definitely order from here again.

My favourite Airdrie Chinese. I can’t resist their 3 course happy meal! Love the variety of choices that come with it. Great portion sizes every time. Thank you for another tasty dinner.

Munchie box was inedible, so greasy majority of box was chips that where cold

Chowmein was tastless and the chicken in it was horrible same with the chicken curry

Probably the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. I don’t like putting bad ratings as it’s someone’s lively hood but that was absolutely shocking. Sorry for the bad review but yes not good at all.

Got from here a few times no complaints but this time, everything was just reheats wasn’t even edible everything was like rubber n quite disgusting to eat.

The curry itself didn’t taste or smell right and we couldn’t eat it. It tasted like something was burnt even though the food wasn’t burnt. Almost like it had been cooked in a pan that had burnt oil in it or something. It also had way too much salt in it. Ended up eating the chips and rice dry.
