Take away food was only fit for the bin. Disgusting!!!. Arrived Cold and inedible. Pork was as tough as old boots. Will be avoiding in the future. Would NOT recommend

Waited nearly 2hrs for my order and this wasn't the first time, gave them a third chance as was recommended, but never again, get more drivers if you can't cope with the demand, and front of house could be decorated and cleaned, collected an order previously and it's not upto food hygiene standards I feel

Portions are tiny, charge too much £16 for a 10inch munchie box with 3 chicken balls, small portion of chips I’ve ever seen.

Having moved recently to the area, we were searching for a place where we could get Thai food. We tried the Chicken red curry and starters of satay chicken and salt and pepper chicken. The food was excellent. I cannot rate the dishes highly enough.

Absolutely ridiculous I online ordered food 6:30 pm tonight and we are now 5to 9 and still no food who wants to eat dinner at 9 pm at night APPARENTLY when asking for the manager I got told he doesn’t speak English and when asking who translates was told It’s his wife but she’s NEVER in , so ordered 6:30 was told when I first called at 8:14 it was just cooking now 9pm and STILL NOT HERE maybe order at lunchtime if you want a delivery for your dinner SHOCKING 😮 SERVICE ALL ROUND Ps arrived just after 9 look-warm reheated chips absolutely vile shame on you sending this quality of food to anyone let alone someone who has waited nearly THREE HOURS

Everything about our order was rubbish. Waited just short of 3 hours to receive a simple order of 2 sauces, 2 rice, 1 chips, 1 chicken balls. Food was lukewarm. Chips tasted stale, tough and reheated. Chicken balls looked old and tough like a 90 year old's elbow skin. Horrible experience. Called for an update whilst waiting on it arriving and was given a half hearted sorry. Had issues before and wont return after tonight.

Wonderful food, always great quality. Delivery times could be better but with how popular this takeaway is I am not surprised as the long delivery times.

Now 2 1/2 hours since order, twice iv called and been told it won’t be long - food is great but this is just absolutely ridiculous.

Ordered dinner for my husband and I tonight. Advised it would be an hour max however after over this I called for an update to be told "I'm just waiting in the driver coming then it'll be on its way". 30 minutes later it hadn't arrived so I phoned again to be told "it's just left" - when I enquired if this meant it had been sitting out for over half an hour I was informed "no, it hadn't been cooked yet" which was the opposite of what I'd previously been told. Another TWENTY MINUTES after this (1hour 50 minutes since ordering) our food arrived. Chips were luke warm and rock hard, my orange chicken was soggy and like rubber from clearly sitting under a heat lamp and we were missing a fried rice. Granted the shop sent new chips and the rice but I ended up feeding the chicken to the dog because it was practically inedible. At no point were we offered an apology. Really disappointed and won't be ordering again.

The food is always good but service is shocking, even the delivery driver said this, counter staff used to be fab now absolutely TERRIBLE! Order short on Saturday & driver wasn’t surprised! No answer to message but it’s been opened! Shocking won’t be back & will be telling friends to!

Tried this place about 5 month ago ,after going to the same place for over 35yrs , I was amazed at how good the food is and would recommend trying it , it's the best one around , wish I had tried it sooner

Ordered last minute before they closed as I was at work. Very helpful and accommodating and I picked up as they closed as i told them id be very late. Was no problem. Piping hot. Just what I wanted after a long day at work. Thank you

Amazing food the lassie at front could be a bit nicer and she needs to stop speaking about her business in front of customers but apart from that food is amazing honestly best take in wishaw

Hands down our favourite Chinese, salt and chilli chips are the best! Need to work on their delivery times (1.5-2 hours at times!!) so we’ve resorted to collection but other than that, love it!

Salt n pepper ribs are awesome,chicken fried rice brilliant, curry could be hotter but still excellent

Favourite Chinese in Wishaw. Front of house staff are always very friendly and helpful. On the few occasions something has been forgot they are always super quick to sort it out for you. The online just eat is a hit or miss and doesn't allow you to choose collection which is a bit inconvenient as we only stay a short walk away. But happy to phone and order, it can take a bit of time to get through though as they are usually quite busy. Wouldn't go anywhere in Wishaw to be honest. Would be helpful if you could pay by card.

The cook cant talk English, authenticity or what. Great food though. Man can this guy cook. Chicken Chow Mein is the favourite but theres plenty amazing food. Chicken n beansprouts is another I really enjoy.

I love the food here. Have never had a bad meal from this place. The Curry Roll is my new favourite thing to order! Staff are very helpful and friendly and not often a long wait when picking food up. Delivery times can vary but it’s a popular place so to be expected a wee bit.

I travelled all the way from Edinburgh on more than one occasion, to get the best chinese from China One. My partner is from Wishaw and he wasn’t lying when he said it’s amazing. The salt and chilli chips are to die for!

Tried it after a recommendation by a woman who likes her scran as much as me. Wasn't disapointed. Would go more often but can be a hassle getting parked.

Can't get near the counter for delivery drivers, they stand blocking the door and counter and won't give way to customers. Also the foul language used by these drivers is out of hand. Shop is small so delivery drivers make it imposable to be 2 metres apart, they should be outside the shop and called in when orders are ready. if one or more delivery drivers pick up the virus they will spread it like wildfire. To the owner, please control your staff and comply with Government instructions otherwise someone will report it to the Police and Environment Heaith. Pity about the above becouse the food is good.

We ordered a meal for delivery on a Monday night. The food came in decent time. However the delivery driver was very rude, didn’t have any change and threatened to take the food back if we did not find the £1 he needed because he had no change on him. This was not our fault and we did not appreciate how he spoke to us. Food was good but not happy with the people skills of the driver.

Glad to hear that shop is getting back to its high standards. Last year I was in the shop 4 times and the attitude of the woman behind the desk was a disgrace. She actually put me off coming back. One of the evenings I was in the young girl delivery driver with her partner who were fab told her they needed three weeks holiday and asked could she notify the manager, the rude woman said she would but when the young girl and guy left to do the deliveries she said to the other driver. I'm not telling them. My last time in was June, I asked were the young couple back and her behind the desk said no, they never told us they were going on holiday. So a young couple lost there shift all bcos of her. Was glad to hear a few days later that she got sacked and I hope the young couple see this. I might come back to this shop one day, if it's the young girls behind the desk then I know the front of shop will be fine. Hope the managers see this too.

Sampled a few Chinese takeaway places within the Wishaw area but this one seems to have the edge on others on what we prefer to eat. The staff are friendly and are on the ball when you order or need to amend your dish. Parking can be difficult as limited spaces. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

I ordered food from this place this evening 18 October 2019 waited 1 hour and 30 mins and then rang to complain about the wait. No apology just told don’t call here again and hung up - disgraceful!

Placed an order for delivery at 5pm to be told it would be 45 mins. Over an hour for a delivery and still hasn't arrived will not be going here again!!!!

2 hours 10 minutes for delivery is just not acceptable, then attitude when you phone to complain. Food is ok but totally let down by the service.

S&P chips taste like rubber and very soggy, curry sauce was so bland, can only taste a bit salt, not anything else! So disappointed! This shop used to be good now way down the hill, been reading recent reviews all negatives; And thought Google review is for customers state opinions towards the business not an employee choose to put an long page announcement saying they will doing things better?? Clearly the food isn't go better, and you were making efforts on the wrong spot!

I am a member of our current counter staff who work tirelessly to try and provide the best possible customer service. Recently there have been some less than great reviews which in all honesty I can’t completely disagree with. I’d like to state that we are now under new management and are working extremely hard to improve our standards. I would like to apologise for any inconvenience people may have experienced whilst ordering from the shop. There are things such as long waiting times that are really out of our control, as the shop is so busy, we all try our best to have orders ready as quickly as possible. However, this does not mean we can always have things ready within the ideal time limit. I would also like to explain that we do have 2 counter staff on during busy periods at the weekends. This is so we can provide the best service possible at busy times. This may seem like a little much. However, this speeds up our working pace and helps us to organise orders in the best way possible. I can speak for all 3 members of counter staff when I say we wish all our customers to receive the best possible service and will greet you with a smile when you walk through the door, or a light hearted tone over the phone. Things have been less than perfect recently and I can assure you that perfect is a standard we are vastly moving towards. I would like to apologise for the mistakes made in the past, and I can only assure you that this will not be a regular occurrence and that we have already made big improvements within our shop.

Have just received the most disgusting chicken with ginger and spring onion from China One. Perhaps it would be more apt to say I received ginger onion and woo hoo "8 pieces of chicken." The ginger 7 slices in all approximately 3 to 4 inches long by about 1inch across (mandolined)was totally unsliced into small pieces. The spring onion I had to search for whereas I think I had a full onion (wedged) and then separated. I had visitors from Fife who were astounded at the horror scene in front of me. My husbands special fried rice dish was so flavourless that he took three of the massive ginger slices to try and add flavour to his tasteless dish. Absolute disgrace that any fast food place should be allowed to serve totally inedible food such as I was served tonight. First time and last time I shall ever purchase anything from this take way. TOTALLY DISGRACEFUL.

Shocked when I saw a big rat ran through the kitchen right behind sink pipes. Cancelled my S&P chip order straightaway - it's now my turn to RUN AWAY from this place, it let me feel sick, angry and such a disgrace think about how many times I ate their food may had been contaminated by Rats!!! Don't go there unless you want to share your food with Rats! Absolutely disgusting!!!

Service is absolutely disgusting from the women at the front desk people like her shouldn't even be working in customer service or even working with the public attitude absolutely stinks and should be ashamed with herself after hearing the way she speaks to people over the phone ... If looking for a Chinese in wishaw a would 100% avoid this place. Owners should maybe think about a new person at front of house. No wonder the reviews are quite bad if possible I would leave no stars had to walk out because I couldn't stand the way she spoke to me.

Food is fabulous from this Chinese but ohhhh my the attitude of the female this evening on the front desk taking orders, when I called my order in I wasn't even sure if I'd called the correct number because her attitude on the fone was hi, u want (order repeated) then telephone hung up. She spoke to ppl on the telephone with no customer service and her attitude towards the delivery driver was totally appalling which included raising her voice and degrading him in front shop with other customers present. Don't think I'll b visiting here again, this isn't the first time she has had an attitude like this when I've been in the shop but I gave her the benefit of the doubt first time u know bad day and all that. I would b very surprised if I use this Chinese again because of this. Totally off-putting

Food is brill but the customer service is atroshish, manager is the rudest person on this earth and i am not exaggerating, it is enough to make you not go back, she has no patience, no manners, she swears to the customers infront of other customers, tells you to shut the **** up, argues with anyone who questions her. Tonight i phoned with my order at 8.15 and asked to collect it at 9, i was in the shop and payed it at 9, 9.20 i am still standing there, two people had walked in ordered food and away again, im still waiting, i asked why my food wasnt ready, i was told no its not ready, didnt start making it until i arrived, (what was the point in me pre ordering it) when recieved i said at last she then replied with a rather rude and cheeky remark.

This was my favourite Chinese in wishaw for the last 7 years i ordered weekly as it is a stone throw away from me and the food and service was always brililiant but over the last few month's the quality and service has dropped as of now I will never order from here again.

Ordered tonight and waited for 1 hour 30 mins for delivery, phoned back to be told it was on its way. Waitied 20 minutes, so just short of 2 hours from phoning to be told again it’s on its way. Got a phone call from them 2 hours 15 minutes after I originally placed the order to be told there had been a mix up and my order hadn’t been made or sent as previously told twice, so they had lied, I would avoid using them unless you want to wait 3 hours for your meal to arrive!!

Used to love this place but new driver for deliveries nightmare forgot our bevarges for order .. said he go back and get them 15 mins later still no complete order called shop didn't seem to care so good went cold while waiting still to this day waiting on driver to reappear .......... Sadly they will be losing our business...... Charged for goods didn't recieve bad customer service and bad poor working morals.... Not worthy of one star but they didn't have zero option....... 👿👿

Ordered here on recommendation and wish we hadn't. Food took over an hour and a half to be delivered and when it was, it was way below our expectations! Salt n pepper chips and chips with curry sauce were reheats for sure, chicken balls were greasy, only reasonable dish was the special fried rice and it was just average. Can't see us being back anytime soon. Not cheap, so expected a better standard.

Happy meals leave you very happy. Duck curry is fantastic, (could do with more duck in it.), But for the price you can't grumble.

Great food and always excellent delivery times. However I've just seen the minimum order cost has been increased to £15 (£17 by the time you add on delivery!). If my husband and I are ordering dinner there is no way it would come to £15! I'm really disappointed as I love the food here but I'm not willing to spend an extra £5 just to get it delivered!

When ordering a takeaway my first option would be a Chinese from China one but I'm never ordering from their again as the last 3 times I've ordered a delivery it has taken 2 hour to arrive.
