Got chicken chowmein and prawn toast Horrible will never order from here again

Ordered a chicken curry with rice and spring rolls prawn crackers and chips and can only describe the experience as bogging. The curry arrived literally withing 15 mins tho stating it would be an hour and considering it came so fast the curry was cold and needed to be reheated to which we then find bits which can only describe as like cartilage or something through the chicken some parts of the chicken where tough while others soft and jelly like only tried about a cpl of pieces, chips where definitely reheats as was the whole thing what ever the chicken was it was most definitely cooked from frozen possibly Iceland brand diced chicken tho with the condition of the supposed chicken I think that would be hard on Iceland and the prawn crackers where soggy me and the wife scraped the lot straight in the bin and made do with a sandwich, £20 down the drain and a monstrosity of a curry straight in the bin

Best chinese takeaway by far! Chicken chow mein with thin noodles and savoury sauce was epic,some chinese food gives me a sore stomach but not this! This is where to go! 100% recommend!!

Ordered through Just eat. Got mini spring rolls(ordered salt & chilli BIG spring rolls) salt & chilli wings,only got onions with them. Beef curry- tastes like gravy. Will never order again!

Got very bad food poisoning couldn’t eat for a week

Chow mein was perfect and loads of chicken and very big portion for the money. Staff lovely too :)

Wasn’t happy with our meal at all the spring rolls were floating in grease and chicken chow Mein was tasteless can’t complain about the mussel well cooked and tasty but my chicken with my main meal wasn’t tasty at all seemed very rubbery and tasteless

Phoned up an order went and collected it everything was fine

We had ordered for the first time through justeat 2 days ago, food was great and was delivered to us within 30min (we stay away about 10 min drive), so based on the 1st experience we have ordered very similar order today, but via their website, 2 hrs now and food still hasn't been delivered. I phoned in after waiting just over an hour just to make sure they had received it and been told that food is with the driver, a further hour later still nothing, got to a point that I'm not even hungry. Not sure if justeat customers are being treated better but defo won't be ordering again!

Place is wrotten .was good when the 2 guys had it previously but since they sold up and went to Kilmarnock shop this has went down hill

My favourite local Chinese. Have the best salt and chilli chicken balls. Forgot 2 things from an order one Saturday. Phoned up and they gave us a free main next order. Outstanding service and the girl with the glasses who is on front counter is always so friendly.

Bought onion rings. Absalutely disgusting. Would not recommend. Extremely greesy. Burnt. The woman at the counter was very pleasant.

Will never use this place again Waited over an hour for delivery . Had to phone twice to ask where order was, to be told it was ready for delivery from a place 2 minutes from our home and still wait 40 minutes later

Was always great but recent orders have been dreadful ... several times the meat has definitely been "off". Gave them benefit of the doubt a few times more but now I'm done. Won't be ordering again sadly

Tuesday nite, very quiet Hot Wok and still cant get the order correct. Following the 'can I have more than 2 King Prawns in my special thin noodle chow mien' , got 2 extra prawns @ a cost of a discounted price of 60p but not the thin noodles that I ordered. Disappointing with the very plastic tasting noodles. 👎👎👎

Just had delivery im disgusted £30 in takeaway straight in the bin,chicken wings so salty you couldn't eat them, pork in the special fried rice looked and tasted off,the meat in the rest of the food was pretty much hotdog meat everything was soaked in grease ,utterly disgusting

Food is always tasty, not bad time wise for getting food ready either. Only downside is they often forget one or two bits of our order, and being 20min drive away is annoying to go back, like Christmas day there was a fried rice missing and the chicken curry wasn't as asked for, but like I said food is tasty.

Ordered a delivery almost two hours ago, still waiting, phoned up over 45 mins ago, the woman said be with you in 15 mins. 45 later my partner calls, to receive a very rude and blunt "it's on its way thanks" and then was hung up on. Actually so rude. Shouldn't be working in a customer facing role of you have no customer service. And maybe do the management well to have a look at who they have dealing with their customers front of house. Don't normally post reviews but I'm actually quite shocked and taken aback aswell as really disappointed.

First time ordering from here, curry sauce was good, chicken was nice and soft onions were unwanted but cooked well, One point prawn crackers had pubic hair as reflexed in rating. My order chicken curry fried rice with no onion. I would order again, hot wok came recommend to me from a friend.

Waited over 2 hours for delivery. Still waiting..... I understand very well circumstances are not normal but do not take on what you can't deliver within a reasonable time. I use your place very regular but this has disappointed me.....it is now 2 1/2 hours wait.

If it is closed, say that it is closed. Not that the page allows me to go through ordering and once I am ready to pay it says “the shop is closed”

Last minute dine out.. Quiet at our visit, although takeaway side had a steady flow... We were seated and served promptly, while staff made sure we had all we needed, price for two people with a few drinks, was very inexpensive, with a lovely vibe

Been ordering for a while you know when to stop when you get boiled noodles raw onions and no soy sauce, you phone to complain and they ask you to come and pick up some more because the drivers are busy, eventually the new ones come and they are tasteless, shame really enjoyed before, that's my last.

Do not order from here, especially do not pay in advance, I lost my money, not received the food and spent an hour arguing with the just eat support just to tell me they can't do anything! Is this for real?!

I recently order from the restaurant and ended cancelling the order online.But still showed paid online.Got a chap on my door with the order,so i took it thinking i was already charged for it.Later on the driver came back explaining to me that i was not charged,so i made another cash payment. Generally the food was nice and hot,will still order from them anytime.

Super attentive staff and great food.

Just had a meal delivered and it is really cold , phoned back and the girl who answered the phone was really cheeky ,didn't believe that the food could be cold and was quite nasty. She then offered to replace the meal but after waiting nearly an hour and a half for the cold one to arrive I wasn't prepared to wait any longer for my food . Once the food was reheated it was ok except for the chips they had to go in the bin. The one star is due to the attitude of the staff and because of that woman lack of customer service I won't be back to your shop again.

Spring rolls.... come on last ones l got superb last night wee ones you can buy in Iceland which is disappointing they don't even tell tell you so you so you don't know until you get home great takeaway but anyone wanting springrolls make sure you point to the picture on the wall that you want them to look like

Ordered a king prawn chow mein....absolutley Disgusting.....bone dry .....no beansprouts, or Soya sauce.....just dried up noodles. To add insult to injury.....it was supplied in the Thinest polystyrene tub ever. It was more a kids meal.....and a cheek to Charge £6.70.........buyer beware....

Had sweet and sour chicken fired rice, salt and chilli chips and the chicken satay and all quite good, not spectacular but nice enough especially compared to some of the other chinese takeaways in Coatbridge

Aunque debo admitir que esto no es siempre nuestra primera opción de China la comida siempre es buena cuando escoges a comprarla. Las costillas son deliciosos y el chow mein tiene suficiente salsa aunque ya no hacen los fideos todos pasada como algunos. Recomiendo llevar como siempre es agradable y caliente cuando llegue a casa.

Food arrived Luke warm, I asked for hot & spicy chicken and got wings was told its off the set menu well don't advertise any starter, phoned to say order was cold and order was wrong after £18.60 I was told to bring it back after paying for a delivery and also called a liar by the shop assistant because I complained and said food was cold the managers behaviour was appalling he obviously trained his assistant to be rude and shout at customers like he also did will not use again.

¿Qué puedo decir? Un poco escondido en la calle Academy. Siempre probar diferentes lugares de comida dos veces antes de dar mi opinión sincera. El personal es muy amable. La comida es fresco y en cuanto a la el tamaño de las porciones, guau. definitivamente una gran relación calidad-precio y lo recomendaría a cualquiera que quisiera probar buena comida china. Hay tanta variedad en el menú para mantenerte volver a probar más. Aprobado a Wok caliente.

He estado en la búsqueda de decente alrededor de Airdrie y grub Coatbridge unos meses ahora y para ser honesto ha sido bastante decepcionante. Todo el mundo dice lo genial y cuando lo prueba que tienes un poco más sabor en su winky!

Hot Wok is a Chinese take away & is one of the best in Coatbridge, food is fantastic & staff are friendly

I always enjoy the food from here. The snack boxes in one container is more than enough for one person and prices starting at just over £3 means it is great value. Staff are nice and friendly too. My only gripe would be that on my last visit the shop looked rather untidy with lots of boxes (vegetable oil) stored at front of shop in full view of customers - the red light shades are also in need of a dust and cleaned - personally I found this little off-putting as it looks unhygienic and dirty but this is probably an oversight on owners part as it is one of the more modern looking Chinese restaurants in the local area.

I ordered dry salt and chilli chicken without veg which was delicious and 2 portions of dry large ribs, the ribs came in a bbq sauce and when I called to ask for them to change it they told me that they couldn't as it did not say dry on the order. After I told them my receipt says dry ribs the said I was lying and hung the phone up. Absolute appalling I won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered a Beef Curry with Fried Rice tonight and actually called the place back to make sure they had sent me the right thing, and not maybe a beef & gravy or something. They assured me that my order was correct. The "curry" was a salty brown water with no taste, no spice and no flavour. I won't be going back. Disappointed, i used to love this place.
