Call shop at 21.30 to order food and did not come till 22.30 order the mix grill too much gravy very disappointed

Chicken can be rubber sometimes not . Chips horrid . Got gravy over my chicken fried rice .should have be optional

Big thick cuts of meat in special chow mein .and thin noodles which resembled cheap super noodles coated in to much tasteless gravy.wont be back.yuk

pretty bang average salt and chilli chips... asked for bbq spare ribs and get hit with ribs in some brown gravy thing?? could of swore bbq spare ribs are in a red bbq sauce but who am i to say eh? nae wings on a Thursday night either. head somewhere else folks

I was in the area and thought I would try some food again on Friday as used to order from here several years ago where food was good and what a disappointment. The curry was very bland and salt n pepper chips were very close to being raw and also in the other dish that I ordered and went in the bin. Chicken spring rolls were best part of the meal. I would recommend ordering elsewhere if you are looking for good quality food.

Thought we had found the only good chinese takeaway in the area after a few months of consistently good meals, then it all went wrong. We would regularly order breast of chicken curry chopped and were happy with the thick sauce, big chunks of chicken and onions, then it changed to thin hard strips hardly any onions and barely any sauce.The fried rice became overcooked and mushy, the quality of pancake rolls changed too, we used to really enjoy them then it became a greasy mush.You used to pick them up easily, now too greasy stuck to bag ,had to use cutlery to eat them as came to bits. The final straw came after weeks of below par meals and giving them the benefit of the doubt. We ordered King prawn curry, one of our favourite meals from Gordons and noticed an aftertaste after the first mouthful. We were oot the game for the whole weekend and vowed never to trust another chinese takeaway in the area!

Been buying from Gordon’s for 15 years and regular customers. Last order wasn’t great, waited a few weeks and ordered again tonight!! Overcooked or reheated Chips, salt and chicken chicken balls where solid. Rice and curry not the best or to the usual shop standard- and a £25 order in the bin. So disappointing and not one bit was enjoyable

First time ordering and really enjoyed it. Phoned in the order and went and collected it. Service was friendly and staff polite. Didn't take long for the food to be ready. Piping hot and fresh. Ordered a beef chow mein and a chicken and pineapple with cashew nuts and boiled rice. Everything was perfect. Prices are very reasonable. Would recommend.

Poor quality poor customer service ordered special fried rice. Bland no flavour boiled meat and omelette plopped on top.. Had to smother with curry sauce so any flavour.

completey went down hill since I last ordered from the chinease, asked for a diced chicken curry and it came in large strips and the chicken was black, wasn't very hot either, my partners salt & chilli chicken was ok but Defiently had better from here, very disappointed. Won't be back.

Best food in coatbrig large Portions have to ask for less chicken in th curry they give u so much would highly recommend never had a prob with delivery if anyone finds its slow its because ther so busy

Posting a review within 20 minutes.... Just imagine how bad the food was. The worst Chinese ever had... Added a chips for 20p with the main dish. At least we didn't have to go to bed with empty stomach... Never coming back

Been comming here on and off for years but the last few meals have been really bad .thought I would give them the benifit of the doubt by giving them 1 last chance .I shouldnt of bothered very bland food yet again .watered down curry sauce which used to be really nice.cant beleive it as it used to be 1 of the best .will not be giving them any more chances .total waste of money....

Opened up my special fried rice to be presented with a gloop of some sort of disgusting yellowish sauce, stinking prawns and soggy horrible rice. This place was once fantastic, I will never set foot in the place again.

Después de otro de sus 'cierres extraños (por qué no se cierran de vez en cuando? ) probamos de nuevo.Después de que nos dijeron que tenían" de pato' era la caja apuesta opción retroceso de Sweet N Pollo Avinagrado cantonesa. No te puedes equivocar, ¿verdad?No sé lo que era, pero era básicamente pasada frituras con una vaga idea de algún tipo de sustancia blanca. Todo era tan plana porque no había ningún pollo evidente en absoluto. Cuando la estrella del show es la cebolla patatas sal n chili sabes que vas a un perdedor.Así, solía ser un decente para llevar bastante barato y alegre que ahora parece haber desaparecido justo en la sartén.

Love this takeaway, food always cooked well. Delivery times also great. Curry sauce is the best. Only thing is I wish they'd join justeat.

Continuing the Monklands trend of non-oreiental named Chinese takeaways (Bon Appetite, Michael's Place, Stephen & John's!?) Gordon's is your typical cheap and cheerful Chinese takeaway. Yes some of the food tastes like it's been cooked in half of tonne of salt and MSG and I'm sure the chips are constantly reheated but when you are ordering from a Coatbridge takeaway are you really expecting michelin star a la carte cuisine, or simple no frills comfort food? Recommend the chicken curry.
