With friends for afternoon tea, welcome when we went into the hotel.also chef came and acknowedged us and welcomed us in to the diningroom,food was fabolous lovely selection and plenty of it ,refills of tea and coffee were no problem ,definately the best afternoon tea we have had for a long time 👏👏

Stayed here a few nights 1 weekend . Hotel was clean and staff very friendly . The room was very big in the building just across from the main building. Bed very comfortable . Great bed and large bathroom with excellent shower . Did have a little trouble with the heat but the fan provided was a big help . The breakfast which is the only meal the hotel did at the time was fantastic. Its about a £8 taxi to town centre

When we arrived Jessica made us very welcome and we were well looked after by all those serving in the restaurant. We were impressed at the amount of COVID cleaning after each table was vacated. Lovely accommodation in the garden block. Large bright room with comfortable seats as well as a very comfortable king size bed. En-suite was also large and airy. The breakfasts were delicious with an excellent choice. Looking forward to a return visit.

El Lochardil House Hotel es una base ideal para visitar Inverness y sus alrededores. Está a unos 15 - 20 minutos a pie del centro y no se tarda nada en conducir. El hotel es tranquilo y, aunque no dormía bien, dormí bien. Nuestra habitación era muy grande al igual que el baño y estaba bien equipada para artículos de tocador. Es un hotel bonito y de estilo antiguo con un nuevo bloque de habitaciones (la parte en la que nos alojamos era más moderna). Todo el personal fue muy agradable. Fueron atentos y todos trabajaron arduamente para que su estadía sea agradable. Había muchos protocolos covid para mantener a todos a salvo. El desayuno caliente era bueno, una buena selección de comida. No nos podemos quejar del hotel y con mucho gusto nos alojaríamos aquí de nuevo si estamos en la zona.

Noté un anuncio que anunciaba una noche de carne. Reservamos para las 7 pm. Bastante tranquilo en el restaurante, durante nuestra comida solo se usan cinco mesas. El trato es chips de carne y una ensalada, con una selección de salsa y una botella de vino. Todo por 39. Nuestros dos filetes estaban cocinados a precio medio como lo solicitamos, bien sazonados. La ensalada era ligera y fresca y las patatas fritas buenas. La elección del vino era blanca o rosa. Teníamos el Pinot Grigio blanco y fue bueno. Tuvimos un pequeño dulce como extra para terminar. En general una gran oferta, tuvimos una bebida cada uno cuando llegamos, lo que hizo que la factura total llegara a 56. No son porciones grandes, pero justo si está buscando una comida principal y no demasiado pesada. El único inconveniente de nuestra comida, que no estropeó la noche, fue un poco de grasa en un filete de otro modo genial, mi salsa de pimienta podría haber hecho con un poco más de pimienta y la pera del dulce fue un toque duro para mí. . Sentí que sería mejor si fuera más suave. No dejes que esta crítica te desanime. Intenta ver por ti mismo. El personal era muy bueno y volveremos. Estoy seguro de que se volverá más ocupado.

Arrived Thursday evening and enjoyed a very warm welcome by the receptionist and bar tender. One and the same person.Had a meal in restaurant but the fan blades overhead rather cooled the temperature!Food delicious all the same. Very attentive and happy staff.Had a room in the mews section, room 24. Lovely big room, clean and comfy with couch, and armchairs. Phone signal not much but managed.Breakfast delightful.

Father in laws birthday meal. The food was on point and he seemed very pleased with his fish and chips. Managed three courses and that’s rare for this pensioner. My starter was very late hence the four star review but we were all pleased with the rest of the service and the food.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday in Sept. Attentive and helpful staff and an excellent menu which catered for GF with a wide range of options including GF battered haddock which is really unusual in Inverness and was brilliant. Thanks very much! We’ll be back!

O quarto é muito bom. Às instalações são bem cuidadas e limpas. O café da manhã é muito fraco para o nível deste hotel. Só tem torradas e croissant de opção de pães, cereais são de caixinha, queijo só de um tipo. A recepção não consegue ajudar na indicação de lugares onde ir ou fazer reservas em tours.

Had a nice meal for two when staying here in August. Menu is reasonably varied and food and service were both excellent.

La struttura è molto carina, la stanza me l’hanno data nello stabile adiacente, ma devo dire che era perfetta, luminosa, pulita, bagno grande e messo davvero bene. Personale cortese. Unica cosa... colazioni nella media comunque sicuramente lo consiglio

Nos alojamos aquí por una noche, como parte de un viaje a través de Escocia. Nos dieron una habitación grande y bonita con un patio que daba a algunos árboles y arbustos. Muy encantador.El baño estaba limpio y fresco. Muy cómoda cama, el edredón tal vez un poco demasiado caliente para el verano - uso.Conseguimos una nevera para guardar nuestras propias bebidas, pero el supermercado más cercano está a una media hora a pie.La ciudad también está bastante lejos, por lo que este hotel no es para gente que quiere ir mucho.

Nos alojamos en la casa de Lochardil por una noche. La habitación era cómoda, quizás un poco anticuada, con acceso a un encantador patio privado. Sólo una queja de la habitación, la ducha era un poco mohosa. El servicio fue muy bueno, especialmente el encargado de la recepción, que parecía usar varios sombreros por expertos.

Reservamos una comida en Lochardil en honor a mi padre y su 80 cumpleaños. No conocía el hotel, aunque mi mamá y mi papá habían comido allí anteriormente y era su elección. El hotel había cambiado de manos desde su anterior experiencia agradable, así que estaba un poco indeciso sobre la reserva. ¡No debería haberme preocupado! Hubo varias discusiones con el hotel, ya que estábamos bastante inquietos acerca de algunos detalles sobre el entorno para la comida. Tengo que decir que Michelle (uno de los gerentes) fue muy servicial, toleró muchos toing and froing antes de que finalmente hiciéramos la reserva, y se inclinó para acomodarnos. Visitamos con un amigo para el té de la tarde, teníamos que estar allí entre las 12. 30 y 2 de la tarde, así que elegimos 1. 30 hs. Mostrado en el conservatorio donde estaban ocupadas tres mesas, una mesa almorzando otra mesa de visitantes que era tan grosera con el personal que era digna de admiración. Se sirvió nuestro café, té, té descafeinado, dos bandejas grandes para sándwiches que cubren todo lo que pueda desear, luego bollos, tartas, dulces, Dios mío, delicioso. Gran valor, excelente trato, gran servicio y en general bien hecho

Asistí a una boda, fue muy bueno, el personal, excelente comida, excelente comida de 3 platos, se sirvió rápidamente y todos los platos fueron buenos tamaños de porción del hotel, muy limpio y acogedor. Nos dieron rollos de tocino y conos de papas fritas, y nuevamente fueron un excelente personal en el bar, el servicio amable fue rápido poco caro para las bebidas, pero en general, gran tiempo

Wonderful check-in hours - lovely room, breakfast and exceptional staff. Clean, neat, tidy. Beautiful garden surrounding breakfast room. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a family dinner in the Conservatory; the service was excellent, the food superb and the ambience generated by the friendly, attentive staff made for a most enjoyable evening.

I had several problems with this hotel. When I booked it, I was asked to pay a nonrefundable 440 GBP for two nights if I wanted to get the lowest" rate. When I was told I would get a Large King in the Garden Wing, I didnt realize the "Garden Wing" was entirely separate building that was a big pink concrete block situated in the car park area. The Manor House itself was very large and I had no reason to think that the garden wing would be entirely detached from the main house, and look like any ordinary hotel room in the US run by Best Western. The whole idea of staying in a place like this is to stay in the main house with its ambience and antiques. Then, we were told we were being "upgraded" to a Jr. suite...but still in the pink,a concrete block in the car park. It was bigger, I will admit that. But was rather depressing looking, and was 2 flights down from the car park, when I had a bad knee. The food was so-so and the food service was clumsy, something I would not expect from a more upscale hotel. This place needs some work. I wouldnt stay here until they have their act together, and make sure you ask NOT to stay in the so-called "garden wing".

Staying here due to work commitments, I can’t say enough about this place, Excellent staff really helpful nothing is to much bother rooms are spotless and the food is first class, Robert and his team will always endeavour to make your stay a very pleasant one and you will always want to come back

Fuimos a cenar (tres parejas) y el servicio fue fabuloso, al igual que el ambiente. Excellent food and relaxed environment. Staff were very good. In particular, thanks to Monika from Hungary behind the bar who spent time being supportive and friendly to me and my friend as we enjoyed a drink. Staff like her make all the difference. Great location in beautiful surroundings and parking excellent. Try the mushroom risotto- excellent

A favourite hotel. Wonderful staff. Good food. Always a lovely calm atmosphere. Good accommodation, lovely rooms. Stayed four nights half board and really enjoyed our food and friendly helpful staff.

We stayed at the hotel and were too tired to seek out a restaurant in town but were nicely surprised by the good service of the waiters and the food was also enjoyable.

Sunday lunch visit. Oh my goodness what a wee gem. Smashing set up. Fabulous food. Decent prices. Great service. I recommend this place for a lovely day out of dining.

Actually attended a funeral “wake” here and hadn’t been for years, just perfect and Eileen and Graeme were superb hosts. Lochardil hotel is excellent. Will return very soon.

Great to be back to stay again for 2 nights after not staying in a few years. Great rooms with them being clean and tidy. Very friendly staff and nothing we asked for was too much. We had a fantastic dinner here and all food was very tasty and piping hot. We be back sooner again as forgot how great this place was.

The menu was quite extensive and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was one of the best offered during our tour of Scotland.Staff excellent and very helpful.

I went for a wedding to the Lochardil House Hotel, Inverness.Which I have to say give the hotel their due it was lovely and they have lovely gardens, one of the staff Robert was very accommodating with my reservation and allowed me to check in earlier as I was gonna be with the groom etc earlier than most. he was great very genuine and caring about guests with excellent customer care skills.I was in one of the upstairs rooms with a toilet that hardly flushed which meant you had to go down stairs for the toilet. No harm done there as I could do with the exercise up n down the stair to loose a few pounds round the gut. The bathroom had a dripping tap at the sink also you could tell the taps hadn't been fitted to the sink properly as the pipe clinked off the sink bowl when you turned it on. To be fair I had a lot going on being involved in the wedding to waste time chasing people up to fix things as it was only a night I am sure I could survive. I have to say I got a great sleep the bed as it was nice and comfy. I got up at around 10 and go to reception to pay my room charges bill which I knew about. They were busy with another customer, so I said to my friend who was standing next to me and loud enough so they could hear. I will go and put my things into car and come back give them time to finish dealing with the customer. This saves standing around like a spare part which I don't like to do at the best of times, so off I pop to the car and as I start to put my case into the boot of my car then all of a sudden to my surprise out of no where the older gentleman which I would presume to be the manager and his receptionist bursts out the door waving my bill in the air shouting over the car park "your bill". I have to say I have never been in a hotel in my life where they chase after you out the door shouting your bill.The best way I could describe it as, is a scene out of Faulty Towers. To be honest this is where you would expect this ridiculous behaviour to happen on a comedy TV show with Basil and the receptionist being very unprofessional and immature.As horrified, shocked and mortified that I was, I then went in and spoke to the receptionist and said I was coming in to pay my bill as I am not the type to do a runner without squaring up and then to the hard neck of her to proceed to laugh in my face with no apology whatsoever. I am totally horrified by this behaviour, as I am far from riff raff as they could get and treat anyone in this way is shocking and utterly professional by any matter of means both "Basil and his receptionist" need to learn some professionalism and stop watching and acting like stupid comedy TV shows.To call this a 4 star hotel I would say the later treatment and the faulty items in the room is more like a two star did it warrant the £140 for the night most certainly not £80 at a push. I was trying to be fair in my scoring as due to Basil and the sidekick I would score it a lot less.I would suggest some people skills training and customer service training for Basil n Co (receptionist)I honestly couldn't ever see myself going back to the hotel after this shocking behaviour, I am still absolutely speechless.

Pasamos una semana aquí hace poco y me encantó. Nos ascendieron a una suite junior y la habitación extra era maravilloso. El desayuno escocés sabrosa y abundante con opciones de buffet, así como un menú limitado de temas que uno podría pedir. También tuvimos varias...

Sólo una reserva para cenar en el último minuto. El restaurante estaba lleno con los huéspedes del hotel y creo que éramos la única pareja que no alojan. El servicio era excelente y, aunque sólo tenía dos campos cada el estándar de la comida era muy buena. No en gran cantidad pero más finos restaurantes. Esta es nuestra segunda visita y no nos decepcionó. Personal amable y un buen ambiente. En cuanto al precio de los dos cursos y una botella de vino y dos copas antes de la cena esto por 92 libras.

La comida regular y caro. Audiencias clientes cautivos. No me impresionó. Huevos benedictinos fueron duros con salsa holandesa así así.

We are at our hotel becaue the food was great and the atmosphere perfect. There appeared to be a lot of areas for large event dining too.

One of the comfiest places we stayed in Scotland. Room was spotless and food was great! The staff was efficient and helpful. Wished we could have stayed longer!

I was booked into Lochardil House Hotel for a 3 night stay, but wanted to leave from the moment I arrived. It certainly wasn't up to the standard of other hotels that I have stayed in, whilst in Inverness. My room was located up a double flight of steep stairs - the hotel doesn't have a lift. This single room was tiny, with dated décor and a window that looked out onto just the roof. The evening meal menu was a great disappointment. Priced at around £12.50, most meals involved frozen chips- no fresh vegetables, no new potatoes. The 'daily special' came with curly fries! Really?! I thought the 'special' was where the chef got to showcase his talent through a signature dish! There was a 2nd menu available, where vegetables featured, but prices started at about £16.00. For the next 2 nights I ate at the Waterside. Though a peaceful hotel, sleep quality was badly affected by a hard, uncomfy mattress. Part way through my morning shower, the shower riser fell apart when I tried to adjust the shower head. One redeeming feature was breakfast though. Served buffet style, the range of products on offer was extensive and the quality was excellent. Just a shame about all the rest of my stay.

A full complement of breads, cheeses and meats are available for 12 pounds per person. A continental breakfast is 8. Scrambled eggs are available on the buffet but we did not notice on the small menu at the table that eggs to order were available. The stfaff did not mention this and we found a number of items missing when we sat down around 9:30. We asked for replenishments which I'd arrive but not enthusiastically. The gardens are very open during the meal and some tables are set outside the glassed in area should you wish to dine there.

At the end of our NC 500 trip, we decided not to go into Inverness to try on eof the restaurants there but rather see how the hotel restaurant performed. We weren't disappointed. A starter of cheese souffle made with Isle of Mull cheddar was top notch, beautifully balanced and perfectly cooked. Mains of venison (with plenty of vegetables) and a pasta and mushroom dish were both very good. Breakfast had a good selection of hot dishes. Both meals were served in a bright conservatory and serviec throughout was friendly and efficient.

Excellent hotel. Small size and friendly staff make for a lovely stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is buffet style and food fresh and wonderful especially the black pudding. Large bedroom and very comfy bed. Stay two or three times a year and never disappointed.

A really nice place to stay. Quiet rooms, box rooms bit small but I guess that didn't really matter once my eyes had closed. The food was really good too. The enchilada was more like a burrito in size definitely not a problem in my book #whoateallthepies But yea I would highly recommend coming here

My first visit to this area. The hotel looks grand as you arrive with an old building which was previously a privately owned house a new building with updated bedrooms and annex style restaurant. Bar area is cosy.Good venue for weddings/ meetingsThe original rooms in the house are ok: good size but not modern. All usual items provided including bottled water and shortbread biscuits.Prices are fair/ food and drink / the chef serves an excellent fare including haggis and black pudding. Good varied breakfast also.Lesley was most helpful but so was John and all the staff. A lovely receptionist allowed me late check out.Only negative............... if you do not have a car it is a taxi to town and that costs money and inconvenienceStill thank you all

Went here with my wife for a special meal. Preferred the "All Day Menu" over the dinner menu. I had the fish and chips and it was excellent. The crispy batter on the fish was fantastic, only slight criticism was that there were two small pieces of fish with a great plateful of chips. Would have preferred another small piece of fish. My wife had the Enchilada and she said it was the best and most filling one she had ever had. The staff were very helpful and friendly. All told a wonderful dining experience.

Recently attended a wedding at this venue and was impressed with the venue, food, staff and facilities.This was one of the best weddings I have attended - ease of movement of guests in and around the establishment, friendliness of staff and space and facilities available for everyone attending.

The restaurant is located in a light and airy conservatory extension to the main hotel. It overlooks the extensive hotel grounds. The staff service is spot on, you never struggle to catch their eye (unlike other restaurants) and they will check to see you have everything you need. The menu is good with range of modern dishes, providing good value.

We booked a table at very short notice when it seemed that Inverness city centre restaurants were all full to bursting. As a family of five, we were already going to be interesting customers in such a traditional setting, but not an eyelid was batted and every effort was made to help us have the perfect meal. And that's in spite of my 11-year-old's sullen mood that threatened to spoil the evening - only averted because the waitress was unbelievably accommodating on her very picky food choice. The food was absolutely delicious. I couldn't fault the food, the service or the impeccable setting. Highly recommended.

Stayed at this Highland retreat overnight in June. I was accommodated in the annexe building which is fantastic. Everything appeared quite new and the room was huge, spotlessly clean and well furnished.I had an evening meal and breakfast the following morning and both were excellent. The staff were very also very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

I have been here many times before, it's a wonderful hotel, helpful staff a lovely owner. The garden is lovely, well kept and the whole hotel is very quiet. Rooms well kept and a menu to appeal to everyone. if anyone asks where to stay in Inverness this is my first recommendation ,always!

Spent one night in hotel really good menu, staff very attentive food deliver on time no rush to eat, top quality presentation, I had steak cooked to my requirements, and smoked salmon starter. Room for one booked very comfortable, no complaints here. Would recommend to anyone

Hatte ein kleines Einzelzimmer gebucht und mich nach ca 1 Std. über den Küchengeruch geäussert. Es war gar kein Problem und ich konnte in ein anderes viel größeres Zimmer mit Doppelbett umziehen. (Trotz Sonderpreises den ich hatte) Sehr gut! Frühstück war gut und frisch. Service sehr freundlich.

The starter was fine but I had the trout which was about as tasteless as a piece of wet cardboard. It must have been on offer as I was presented with a soup type bowl with five totally boneless pieces all piled on top of each other!

Stayed here one night. Room was in the more modern part of hotel and was fine. It was warm and cosy, which was great on a cold night. Dinner in the hotel was ok. The chicken was well cooked but the white sauce with mushrooms was a bit gloopy, and the dish was served with boiled potatoes and a few pieces of mange tout, giving the overall impression of blandness-mostly all white. The girl who served us was friendly and efficient. Breakfast the next day was self service, with toast and coffee brought to your table. Server was a young man, who was also efficient and friendly. The hotel seemed empty. Only a few people in the conservatory for meals, making the place feel lacking in atmosphere.

We stayed in the hotel and used the restaurant. It is okay but mostly we used it since there are very limited options once you are back in the hotel. The breakfast is good but other fare largely depends on your expectations. A practical alternative.

We had a large family event at the Lochardil and were very impressed with the helpfulness and efficiency of the team. A lovely meal and a lovely day out all round. Many thanks.

This turned out to be a good venue for our annual family gathering at the end of holiday, when our party of 12 could not be accommodated at either of the usual venues.Good menu and plenty of well-cooked food. Fairly empty for a Friday night - if visiting as a couple it may have been too quiet.With our large party it was fine and there was a large comfortable lounge for us to sit in after the meal for coffees and much chatting.

food is amazing, spoke to Chef direct to thank him from our group of 9 as everyone of us were delighted. If you have a sweet tooth you have to try "sticky toffee pudding, with ice cream" it's delicious

Nice room facing pretty garden. However, very over heated despite cool weather and that made sleeping difficult. The real disappointment was the restaurant - evening meal just sub standard on any measure and service really amateur. House Red wine was undrinkable. Breakfast was actually ok, but we felt we paid way too much for DB&B in this area.

This is the 5th time I have stayed there, unfortunately it was only for 1 night. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room lovely, food excellent. Not a lot more to say, perfection.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We went as a family of 3 sharing a room in the Garden Wing. The room was huge as was the bathroom - the decor was tasteful and the beds comfy if a tad hard. The main hotel is a beautiful old building.We had dinner at the hotel to save driving into Inverness again - the property is not within walking distance of any restaurants or the city. However, the food was fabulous - the dining room and staff equally so.Breakfast the next morning was ok - nothing exciting but they did gluten-free cornflakes which was great for me.A good hotel all in all.

We had a very enjoyable dinner here at the Lochardil House Hotel Restaurant. They were serving a large (13) family party at the time we visited, so the noise level was a bit higher than normal I would assume. Our meal was delightful and well prepared. The surrounding were gorgeous and you could easily imagine yourself back in Victorian times. Service was very good. Would recommend if you want something close by. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed here but had two breakfasts and dinner here. The food was excellent, the setting is peaceful and gorgeous. The service is also outstanding. Very peaceful, the sunroom restaurant adjoins the neighboring historic hotel, and overlooks gardens, a lawn area and lots of trees. The tables are covered with white linens and everything about it is first-rate.

Saw some very good reviews for this so ate here but it was my idea of 'very average'. Looking closely at the reviews afterwards it is not too hard to see that some of the reviews look fictitious. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Conservatory setting is nice.

The hotel room was one of the best I've ever had - large & airy with two large beds. Makes a change in a twin room not to get singles! Really pleasant location, but a little bit of a walk into town if you're not expecting it. Especially as it's a bit uphill on the way back. However, if you don't mind a 1.5 mile stroll, is there anything better than walking besides a gorgeous river?

Beautiful meal excellent attentive staff who were very diligent....accommodated taking our own purchase birthday cake and flowers in. Menu was very varied plenty choice portions were very good beautiful presentation and everything was freshly cooked....lovely table linen . Courteous staff well presented....a joy of a place ill definitely be back to for more delicious food...cannot recommend it highly enough. Lovely grounds which give privacy....would be a lovely wedding location....a pleasure to have been there...keep up the good work work all the staff

The staff wee excellent. They were very knowledgeable and attentive to our every whim. Whether you want a traditionalScottish 'fry-up' for breakfast with bacon, eggs, sausage, toast,mushrooms, tea/coffee and fruit juice, they will make sure thatyou get it. Our poached eggs were perfect! For really nicepeople, they'll even supply special requests that are not on themenu. Nice!

Meals are served in a large conservatory overlooking the garden. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the evening meals which were served nicely but, to our palettes, lacked a little flavour.

Loved the whole menu and had real trouble deciding what to have, the fried mushrooms gorgeous and the parsnip pancakes with my main were to die for as was the toffee praline cheesecake. My mouth is watering thinking about it now :-). If you get the chance to eat here then go for it as it's delicious. Xx

Not the biggest menu but nonetheless more than enough choice for even the fussiest of eaters. Everything cooked to perfection and obviously prepared with care and attention to detail. Perfect location too.

Spacious and very pleasant surroundings just inside the ring road -- and not too difficult to find for strangers.Plenty of parking..Usually relied on by Inverness locals as a safe venue in which to entertain and hold functions -- and the Lochardil generally lives up to that reputation very well.Does what it sets out to do and generally does it predictably well.

one of my top 5 places to eat in inverness, its quiet, well presented and good service. Food is very good and value for money.

This a very good restaurant and there is no need to travel to the centre of Inverness to find a better one.The service is very good, and the food and wine is well priced.

We spent one night and were upgraded to a junior suite which was very comfortable. The bed and linens were first-rate, the shower was excellent.Dinner was good, as well as the breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient. Recommended without hesitation.

We ate here on a Friday night. Really, for a Friday, the place should have been busier but it was pretty dead apart from what appeared to be a few residents. We had steaks and the meal was disappointing and we are not fussy eaters. Our steaks hadn't been browned off and sealed and looked rather anaemic. We both asked for med rare, mine was, his wasn't at all. The carrots were completely waterlogged and soggy (from what appeared to tinned carrots?). A bit of cauliflower has been just plonked and it all looked rather strange.The overall presentation was really poor and we weren't looking for anything really special. Just a steak and chips with a steak that had been sealed and looked brown instead of looking like it had been done in a microwave. It was a shame. If it was my business, I'd be concerned that on a Friday night the place was empty especially when surrounded with housing. Spoke volumes. Put us off a pudding so we left. Perhaps the normal chef was off. Waitress was pleasant though.

Went for a meal with a group of friends and we could not fault the food or the service. My starter was great, my fillet steak was bigger than my head and it was cooked to perfection. Great value. I will definitely be returning.

Went for lunch here on a cold windy wet December day. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and the restaurant was lovely and warm. Couldn't fault a thing, and will definitely be back.

My husband and I were delighted with our stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Hotel is cosy clean with a sparkle. The room we had was immaculate and spacious as was the bathroom. We stayed 3 nights and rooms were cleaned and restocked each day. Breakfast wonderful selection, good quality produce fresh seasonal fruits, the cooked breakfast selection was cooked to perfection. Didn't have any evening meals but going by the breakfast I don't think you will be disappointed. Five minute drive into Inverness local bus service just outside. Definately coming back. :D

My husband and I ate here for 4 nights during a stay in the hotel. The menu was varied and extensive, and full of tasty things for us to try, so we managed to pick something different every night. And the results were almost always quite excellent: extremely tasty, and filling, and very satisfying. For example on one day the pie of the day was venison, which we both had and enjoyed, and the portion sizes were massive. The restaurant is not too overcrowded with tables, so you do feel quite private at your seat, which is nice. And best of all were the young restaurant staff, who were thoroughly professional and attentive, and always a pleasure to deal with. By the second night they knew our name which added a nice personal touch as well. Thoroughly recommended anyway, especially if you have a DB&B deal while staying at the hotel, as we did.

Good food, pleanty of choice, variable menu, good service, view of gardens from resturant. Resturant is primarily a conservatory built onto the hotel.

The staff did a really good job of catering for a family birthday party. Set up the table for us and let us choose a few items to have on the menu. All the food was lovely and it was really good friendly service. Had not be for ages but will definitely come back!

We celebrated our Golden Wedding on 15th September 2012 in Lochardil House Hotel. We had great assistance from Robert organising what turned out to be a superbly happy evening with 145 guests. Facilities and accommodation were excellent, service by staff was immaculate. The buffett dishes were just delicious. Cannot thank the staff enough for their excellent service. For functions like this we thoroughly recommend Lochardil House Hotel
