We had a lovely sit in the garden while enjoying our coffee, hot chocolate and cake. The owner was lovely and turned out to be Belgian (we are Dutch), so we had a nice chat. If we're ever in the area again we will surely drop in again!

The perfect stop on our NC500 adventure. Having spent the morning being attacked by midges whilst packing up our tent, a stop for a warm drink was just what we needed. We had an espresso and latte to drink, and bought some chocolate for our travels. Delicious drinks, and the best raspberry chocolate we have ever had which was consumed in seconds! Extremely friendly owners who made us feel very welcome and gave us some very handy tips on midges. You must stop here on your travels! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Not long back from a splendid stay in Assynt, based in Clashmore, at the end of April when the weather was exceptionally good. Many highlights, but amongst them must be our visits to Choc-o-latte, where their Philosophy seems to be if a thing is worth doing, then it's worth doing well.Incongruous, on the road to the Old Man of Stoer, amongst the stones and reeds and lochs of Assynt, to find homely chocolate cafe and shop, run by a very friendly Belgian couple, who are also very Scottish. So thanks, Sophie, for the hot chocolate, fine cakes, and the variety of chocolate. And for the talk - and the reminder of the much missed ferry between Rosyth and Zeebrugge.

Stopped for a hot chocolate and cake as it was recommended. I think it was the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had served by a very friendly lady.

Amazing views, wonderful chocolate and lovely owners - what a special place! We had hot chocolates, with marshmallows for children and without for the grown ups and bought some cakes to take home with us. All absolutely delicious!

My kids have tried hot chocolate in many places and are certain this was the best ever. The lady took real care in making the hot chocolate and the kids (and one adult) loved them. The chocolate themed cakes were great too. A little bit of Belgian chocolate expertise in the NW Highlands. Great EE 4G signal and great view too.

We stopped here after a walk at the Stoer lighthouse. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming and the cakes and gifts look very inviting and I am sure are delicious. However we had a couple of takeaway coffees which to be honest were awful. Three pounds each, from a bean to cup automated machine, that bore little to no resemblance to a quality cup of coffee. It was scorchingly hot and simultaneously watery yet bitter. I really wish that we had saved our money. I think the owner should think hard about swapping to high quality ground coffee in a cafetiere, it would be much nicer. If you cannot afford the proper espresso machine why not try something a little different? Don't use a poorer machine to try and produce espresso coffee then charge full prices for an inferior product.

Stopped off here for refreshments and were not disappointed, everything was excellent and the owner took time out to talk to us and gave a treat to our dog. The drinks and cakes were lovely and the sweets and cakes we bought were also excellent. Would definitely recommend, very friendly and cost are fair for what you get.

We loved this resturant! Me and my husband were in Scotland for my birthday and went here for my birthday dinner while we were staying in Glencoe. The food was great and the staff was super friendly! We hope to return here one day!

We are campervan-ers staying at the local campsite, a short walk down the river to Mackay's Hotel and restaurant. We'd read other reviews and were looking forward to a good meal after a day 'on the road'...and we weren't disappointed. We had friendly service from Graeme and Kirsty, who were prompt and attentive. We had the Cullen skink which was very tasty. I had chicken and my husband had fish and chips. Not huge portions but good quality, tasty food we very much enjoyed. I had local gin which was delicious. My husband had the only local ale on tap which was good. This is a relaxed environment, we did not eat in the bistro area but in a dining area which was fine. Thank you for a lovely meal and good banter.
