So sad that this bar remains closed - it’s difficult to understand why the reason given is “staff shortages”? Just pay them a decent wage and recover the cost on the drink prices! It’s a lovely spot to stop and have a nice cold beer on a sunny day.

Ordered a beautiful cake to help celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. Jemma was extremely helpful in my making a decision from the overwhelming number of ideas and ingredients available. As my mother is a diabetic I decided on a two tier cake with fresh berries. Jemma made the top tier with diabetic ingredients so everyone at the party could enjoy. It was scrumptious and three days later gone!! Thank you Jemma. Terrific cake. If anyone is looking for that special celebratory cake, I can’t recommend Got Cake enough!!

Nice pub serving local food and local beer. Nice atmosphere, felt like a locals pub. Sea Bass was delicious as was scampy and chips. The side of garlic wasnt great though… dripping in oil and not good for us. Friendly staff clean and tidy dining area. We’d go back for another go though!

Called in on spec, never been to Beaumaris before . Lovely very old building . All had Sunday roast . Plenty of it , meat lovey , potatoes crunchy and four fresh veg . Needed more gravy , I know we could have asked but ( hence lost a star) veg barely warm and plates cold . Ate it all anyway . Husband disabled and loo hard to find and access due to age of building .

This review gives me no pleasure regarding our once favourite food and ale pub. Friday night - no food despite a small bar menu stating food available - the reason? "Staff too busy" although only a few tables occupied by customers, some eating crisps but no people eating bar food! I tried to book a table for Saturday night but informed that "only" a bar menu would be available - however, a bar menu was supposedly available on Friday night but then it wasn't!!?? So not confident enough to book for Saturday! As usual, the ale and lager was lovely - very expensive compared to city pubs and around £2 per round more expensive that the Castle & St Brides pubs for a pint of ale and a half a lager; it was especially galling to just pay for our drinks, then have the bell ring for closing time! My complaints re pub food unavailability and closing the pub just after ordering beers, were, to say the least, not well received.

The kebab with buffalo honey mustard was delicious, lovely, and fresh Went down well with chilled cider. Nice, quiet afternoon atmosphere. Staff were very pleasant too! I would definitely go there again

The best thing about Wetherspoons is that its reliable cheap and you can always find one, however they are all noisy and often full of unsupervised kids and recently they changed the menu and removed steak and chicken which limits the menu.

Check your prices, many times they have offers and when you go to pay its at the higher price and not even more card offers either. It's happend to us probably 15 times in the last 6 months. See photos had to call someone to change it. If your in a hurry you probably wouldn't notice. Not saying they do it on purpose but...... staff just can't be bothered to help. They make you feel guilty for asking. Everything is just too much trouble. Store is always messy and it really smells sometimes of sewers. Literally the only reason I go is because it's on my way home. MORE REASONS is their slogan. Definitely NO REASONS.

I usually park outside to use the Wi Fi, whilst waiting for the wife to finish work at M&S. I don't go in much because I find it expensive for a coffee. But that's me, I prefer tea.
