We all enjoyed our food and drinks. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, all the staff were very friendly. I am having a problem to think of anything to complain about, so I will end there.

Thr Mardy was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean pub.

Run out of cod & chips! Stayed 4 drinks.....

Nice place for a drink and//or food. I go there for the coffee mainly due to the free refills.

You’re lucky if you get what you ordered on the app some items never showed up most of the options was unavailable

Great Spoonies, lush food and great service with friendly staff. Atmosphere is great. Time passed us by having to be told its stop tap and please leave at 1am 😊

Food was fresh and tasty. I ordered the small fish and chips, it was lovely and enough for me. Table service appeared easy to use. It appeared clean, staff were friendly enough.

Waited 30 mins for my Pepsi to be delivered, while staff walked past it on the bar. Had to get it remade, as the ice had diluted it. Everything else was great

Had a lovely meal here. Large mixed grill. Plenty of food on plate. Staff dealt with some very drunk customers who they efficiently escorted out.

Usual great Wethspoons standard. Toilets a bit of a maze to get to but, no big deal.

Good value for food and drinks. Very handy being able to use the app to order, especially when you have mobility difficulties like I do. One big shame is no music license. Just some background music would have been nice. Overall, it's a great place.

Realistic prices, great food and awesome service. The staff even saved my son from choking and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be returning for future visits!! I can't praise them enough!!

Went for breakfast food was a bit rubberized but a lot of it for the money

Busy on latest vist. Standard Wetherspoons offerings at reasonable prices. Meals and drinks were ordered at the table via the app and arrived quite quickly. Had the ham, egg and chips this visit, which was good. Staff were polite and considerate.

Had two classic 8oz sirloin both steaks were like warm and full of gristle served on a childs plate ! Most disappointing 😞. Usually visit the Lord craddock in port talbot where the food is always great

I live in Neath but prefer this Wetherspoon. Good food, plenty of seating, very nice toilets. Prompt service. Car park not big but can take about 15 cars. Some parking in main road outside. Food lovely, great selection. Nice people.

Very reasonably priced, but portions can be small and quality hit and miss. Staff friendly and efficient - bit of a mixed bag with bar very busy with cheap drinks promotions in the afternoons. overall worth a visit - was disappointed with the promotional menu - will stick to the main menu next time.

Always a good atmosphere and excellent service but my cod today wasn't up to usual standard. Batter was burnt to a crisp, plus the cod was the size of a goldfish under the batter. Hasn't put us off returning though 😊

Same experience more or less each time. Staff always friendly and polite while busy and not intrusive. Always kept clean and tidy, even the loos tbf.

We only had a breakfast, but it was cold. Also I prefer brown sauce with my breakfast, but they didn't have any at all, it's only a small point i know, but it made our breakfasts less enjoyable. The staff there were very friendly, polite and courteous. It was also, very, very clean.

Portions the size for under 11s. Would eat in the high street and return for the craft ales

Food was good, but on this occasion my meal was forgotten whilst the other three in my party received theirs. I was told my meal had been taken to another table. I heard another table complain that their food wasn't cooked sufficiently. Tables weren't that clean, but staff were trying hard to keep on top of things. Prices were very good and bar service was good.

Been before my most recent visit but on this occasion, the whole experience was not enjoyable. From lacked quality and taste, atmosphere was not ideal, given the benefit of the doubt I returned for a second visit to find the same experience. Poor quality and service. Unfortunately. I would not return for food again in the future however it is reasonably priced.

prices not cheap really for food.Was very disappointed.Sausage,mash and peas .....packet mash ,tinned peas and tasteless sausage just slapped together in a bowl.Also the fish and chips well....the fish was curled up tasted old.sorry but the truth .Sloppy sort it should of gone to Roma! when its good i praise and recognise but the lunch was taking the Mic!

I realy do like this place frist time in a long time.i went for breakfast. It was nice .clean place .and the man was help full with the coffee ☕️. Will be calling again.

Overall a nice place to grab a drink, relaxed atmosphere in the daytime.

Met friends for a coffee and sat in the garden outside with the dogs, not knowing that they did not allow dogs outside!!!! (Who doesn't allow dogs outside these days) Beer garden was empty but we were told as we had already purchased our beverages we could stay but once we had finished we had to leave. If the beer garden was full I could understand but we were the only ones sitting in the garden. Definitely won't be going back!!!!!!!

I would have given 5* if it wasn't for 1 member of staff.(blue haired) ,he really needs to hone his people skills.Apart from him the food was good and the atmosphere great.

What a shambles! We close our food and went to order and bedsides the attitude from the lady at the bar everything I tried to order had out of stock items like salad and eggs so they couldn’t put it through the till 🤷🏼‍♂️ they had eggs but couldn’t cook them due to the clam being broken and I was shocked to find out that the kitchen doesn’t possess I frying pan 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ needless to say we left and have gone elsewhere.. this isn’t the first time that they’ve been out of stock of food either!!!

Terrible food today 25th April 2023. Chicken cold and pink in the middle, cold curry, dirty pint glass (lipstick marks on rim) Very disappointing as normally pretty good!

Great stuff as always from a weatherspoons. Honestly I've not had a bad meal here. Only thing it lacks slightly is parking space but generally you can find a spot. I've always found there to be sufficient seating too.

My youngest chose to visit for his birthday Very nice lunchtime menu and the chicken was very nicely presented in lovely neat baskets, tasted very very nice too Paid a visit to the ladies, wow, seriously impressed, beautiful hand basins So it was a very nice and pleasant lunchtime experience.

Great lunch with friends. My meal was small gammon & jacket potatoe although I did want the 'fish and chip' for Good Friday. They had run out so went for my second option. Service was excellent.

Serving the best kept beer in Gorseinon makes this a useful stop off place for a swift beer. Usual selection of Wetherspoons food is an added bonus.

Absolutely terrible place avoid it at all costs had a chicken tikka masala and a bowl off chips 4 hours later i spewed it all back up the worst spoons about if I could give zero stars I would🤢🤢

Great food reasonable prices but sometimes slow to bring the food.

We went here for a meal. I had sirloin steak which was like boot leather... Hubby has half roast chicken that was over cooked and dry. The place was freezing 🥶 I ate with my coat and scarf on. We would've liked another drink but had to leave as it was too cold to stay. We've visited many Wetherspoon pubs and they do vary enormously.

The place is quite nice and cozy. But the food needs improvement. I ordered a curry with rice. The curry was good but the rice was cold, hard and tasteless. The naan bread was rock hard I couldn't even finish it. The wings were great tho.

The food was lovely. However, the way of communication towards the customer could be made way better. I work as a nurse, and I felt the behaviour from the person who served me quite rude. It made me personally upset, moreover my friends who accompanied felt upset too. Also, the staff was constantly starring at me constantly.

Spoons isn’t to everyone’s taste, but the Mardy is clean and often not that busy. Food and drink is the usual Weatherspoons fair.

Nice pint of real ale and burger & chips

It's what you'd expect from a Wetherspoon's place. Reasonable food, standard drinks, all for a thoroughly decent price. The site was clean and well organised, the staff friendly and efficient. The toilets were (as is standard for Wetherspoon's) a healthy hike away from the rest of the place. Would come here again for food and a pint.
