Costa Coffee in Swansea

Called in a few time while shopping in the morfa, service is always slow due to lack of staff, tables always full of dirty trays, again due to lack of staff to clear them. Queue is always long and it’s always too warm in there. Prefer Morrisons cafe now.

Regular stop for my wife and I. Always polite friendly staff. Excellent coffee especially the Capachino. Tasty toast and great selection of other options.

Absolutely shocking service. So slow. So disinterested. Stressed and grumpy. They dropped a drink and the lady serving was grumpy

Not very clean, seats had spilled coffee on them, crumbs on tables, service was pedestrian.

Service was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very tasty as was the coffee, It was a lovely sunny day, with the sun shining through the glass, top to bottom wall/windows. Will definitely be back

Nice good coffee shop, very pleasent ,hard working staff, good service and coffee. Used many a time, never had any problems. Just remember if busy, its not the staff fault so be patient and polite.

Food and drinks were usual high standard, but service was very slow (queued for half an hour!) and the café area is quite cramped.

Appallingly understaffed resulting in extremely slow service with staff ill equipped for the Xmas rush. Music rather loud too...not a pleasant experience at all

Hot chocolate was like warm and my wife had a coffee with oat milk which had been reheated several times and tasted horrible. Not particularly busy so can't blame it on that more like just lazy. Bypass next time

10 minute wait for a frappe, watching cold orders after mine being sorted. Not overly impressed.

New to Costa Coffee so don’t take it to heart, coming from a Canadian I’ll say the staff was super friendly but that’s been my experience everywhere 🙏🏽 the queue was long and I suspect they were short staffed. Maybe 1 self check station for the people who need to grab a salad and head out. More time shopping less waiting in queues😉

Absolutely stinking dirty. Think they were short staffed. Not a good experience. Behind counter looked like a bomb sight. Food hygiene didn't look high on their list .

Clean and tidy, lovely raspberry and lemon cake, good service, friendly staff.

Visited at 11.50 on a Monday morning, no food available, most coffees have none of the accessories and they refused to reduce the drinks, awful service from the staff and they didn't seem to care. Been here numerous times but extremely disappointed.

I visited on a very lunchtime busy Friday close to Christmas.Long queue but need for coffee was greater than my need to carry on shopping.Very competent member of staff served me whilst multi tasking.Charming manner who apologised for wait,cheerful.Dealt with two customers prior to me being served struggling with new rewards system...patiently with good humour.Dont know how much Costa staff get paid but the ones in this store are worth their weight in gold to the company.They are a credit to Costa...good coffee too

I was surprised how busy it was for 4pm on a Friday afternoon. Always love a Costa, visit cut short due to lack of staff but a lovely coffee anyway!

Just called to Costa in the Morfa for coffee and some breakfast. Have to say the staff were amazing! The water machine was leaking all over the floor but Caitlin and the lovely new girl (Jessica I think?) we’re absolutely troopers, wading through water and preparing orders with friendly smiles. I consider them to deserve an outstanding review and if there were more than 5 stars I would have given them. Thank you both so much, will definitely be back!

Only one member of staff behind counter doing the order taking, making coffee so consequently queue was growing. Why do cakes have to be so expensive?

Steve dean and the boys are fab. Nothing too much trouble. Far cheaper than the mai dealer. Highly recommended

Amazing customer service. A big mention to the kind waitress who have myself and my friend a glass of water while we breastfed our little ones, very thoughtful.

Sat with my friend, both of us breastfeeding our babies. A kind member of staff came over to offer us a glass of water each and say how lovely it was to see us happily feeding in public. Lovely to know we had their support, and a glass of water very much appreciated.

Currently sat in a very busy Costa Morfa, with just two staff working. I have never seen two staff work so hard with such excellent customer service. Amy is a credit to Costa. I have taken my a six week baby out for the first time and she has gone out of her way to ensure a great visit! Thanks Amy - it really is the little things!

Fantastic staff, we explained that my father in law had alzheimers and a team member came straight over to do t&t on the laptop and sat us immediately. Very highly recommend.

Friendly staff, lots of covid precautions to feel safe

Poor service from one of the employees shouted out to other collegee in front of other customers that I was kicking off when in fact I hadn't said a word and then not to even apologise for his behavior and the way he spoke to me. Won't be going there again think I'll stick to starbucks

Good service from the team. When I went they were still carrying out social distancing measures. The store is located upstairs inside the next and it was quite busy so it did unfortunately take some time to get through. The staff were taking trace and trace details and allocating seats.

Bright, open space - plenty of free parking. Outside seating area, close to other shops. Enjoyable place to meet up for coffee/ light lunch. As usual, a bit pricey.

Great staff serving great coffee.

Despite how difficult things have been recently with the pandemic, the staff are always loveky. Yeah you might wait a little bit longer for your drinks but honestly, why wouldn't you when the products are worth the wait.

Nice quite place good for coffee pickups, cake was a little expensive for what they are.

The staff are really pleasant and professional. However the coffee is a bit hit and miss here. Also they don't fill up the takeaway cups which is a bit annoying.

So poorly run at peak times. Four staff, two of which were tidying crisps and sandwiches. One person simultaneously making coffee and serving. Ridiculous management!

This was my second visit to this particular Costa. It has a lovely atmosphere ans the staff are very friendly indeed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Usual Costa standard for the coffee but despite a long queue there seemed little urgency in service. Don't know if it was because it's based in a Next outlet or maybe a shortage of staff or another reason but glad its a leap year so i can get some of my day back. Interaction with the staff was fine. Food is expensive and unimaginative.

I would like to thank Amy the manager for getting a parking ticket cancelled. I stupidly parking in morfa on match day, not realizing there was a parking restriction. I paid cash for my coffee so I had no proof I wasnt at the game. Amy searched cctv and confirmed with the parking police that i was in costa at the time I had parked in morfa. Really helpful. Thanks

After browsing through Next, we walked upstairs to the Costa Coffee cafe which was brimming with customers. The 3 of us found a small table and ordered lunch from the counter. As it was so crowded, we had a short wait but not too long. Unfortunately, only 2 of the coffees were delivered, so we had to remind them that we still had one coffee to come. We weren't there for long, but both our baguettes and coffee were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Convenient at the time, decent bacon roll but not cheap

Struggled to obtain cutlery serviette. When made request poor response from staff member instead of agreeing made retort it was her fault. Better Costas elsewhere

After browsing around the shops it's always nice to go for a lovely coffee and a cake in the cafe located in Next . Nice to unwind and look at the surrounding area.

This coffee shop did not do well with the food as it had fly,s all over the cakes that was not is any control covered from the out side element that was all around the food, cake,s and so on when we where telling the manager about this and all she did was look at us as if we had two heads and she did not like being told any thing so it was so badly run by the team in that shop NOT GREAT to SEE when your shopping for food to eat at that moment .

Costa Coffee at Next , Morfa Shopping Park Swansea. Cortado coffee made perfectly by very cute and intelligent young lady served with a smile. What else can I say. 😘

Staff are always v friendly. Coffee always great and you can get a tasty snack at a reasonable price.
