We love this pub. So does our black lab!

This is now my favourite spot in Wales. Little Haven is beautiful and The Swan is the perfect pub in the prefect village. The views from this place are outstanding, the fit out is first class and the atmosphere created by the excellent staff is warm and welcoming (for dogs too by the way). I’ll be back for certain.

Be warned in the late evenings on weekdays, the pub shuts when it feels like it, even in the height of the season.

Superb old waterside pub. Excellent beers on tap and very friendly welcome. A pub you can consult inside and outside the premises, as is so traditionally indicated! A great place!

Excellent beer served by the long time landlord. Warm atmosphere, dogs welcome, delicious bar snacks. A must if you like comfy sofas, roaring fires, beach views. At high tide it’s about 10 steps from the sea to the bar!

Friendly staff, great service, great fresh ales, amazing interior, superb location…light food menu looked amazing, new ideas, was only a quick visit, need to return soon…

This is newly reopened & under new management. Lovely pub. Stripped back but lots of period character. A few ales in. Food menu is interesting and different. Not standard pub grub. Would definitely recommend. But the location is amazing. If you’re passing in Summer it’s a must stop!

Must visit if you are in this area. Perfect blend of cosy and stylish, romantic and family friendly. Warm fires, with lovely views, nestled right on the edge of this little bay. Could have stayed all day. Lovely landlords and their family are perfect hosts.

Great to pop in for a drink after a walk on the beach

A lovely stylish waterfront pub with good beers and well prepared food at reasonable prices. We really look forward to visiting again on a day when it isn't blowing a gale. Very friendly staff too.

Unusual pub with only 2 lagers on tap both from eastern europe, real ale served by gravity, straight from the cask, a very nice pint of Bass. A wide variety of wines were available, didn't try the food so I can't express an opinion.

We ate here while we were staying in the pub..excellent menu but the choice on specials board was even more appealing. Staff were friendly and efficient and our food was delicious!

We were looking forward to glass of cider on a sunny day. None available on tap, bottles only. The guys behind the bar didn’t offer a decent alternative or appear interested in serving us. Went to the St.Bride’s instead.

Best spot in Little Haven for me! Brilliant all round, really great what they have done with the refurb. Can't wait to get back.

A lovely traditional style pub, in a prime position overlooking the bay. Welcome was good and it’s dog friendly. We sat in some very comfy chairs and just had drinks. My coffee was wonderful and I could have stayed for much longer, although I was so relaxed that I’d probably have nodded off! I noticed that there were a number of board games too, presumably for customers’ use. Couldn’t fault our visit.

Loved this pub but only giving it 3 stars because it closed at 10 pm and turned away customers. Very surprised by this.

The location is amazing but the current owners have done a fantastic job - incredibly welcoming the service cannot be faulted. The cask beers were really specialand they have bottles of black dragon. Cant wait to come back next year the sharing plates go really well as a snack with a few beers - very special place!

Welcoming pub to relax and watch the world go by! Newly refurbished, this pub is beautiful! The decor is in keeping with its heritage, it's warm and inviting with log fireplaces - perfect for a pint in hand, sat in the window, watching the word go by and the tide come in and out of the cove. They don't serve hot food as such but the tapas style menu looked amazing when the tables next to us ordered - we wish we'd had some. Selection of ales were great, with local beers available on cask. A massive thank you to the owner, Paul too for his help when we broke down on the way. After many days of searching for someone to help, he called a friend who was happy to sort us out. Without him, we are likely to have still been stuck! Paul also had awesome local knowledge, especially of the heritage of the pub, so be sure to pick his brain! Would highly recommend visiting Paul and his family run pub, we will be sure to return soon!

I don’t really know where to start. I love Little Haven & have been visiting for over 30 years. When ever we’re in Little Haven we’ve always spent time at The Swan and it’s what made our holiday but sadly not anymore 😞. The place just has no soul, the windows are dirty and if you want food it’s a tin of sardines (still in the tin!) and a couple of slices of bread. This pub has definitely lost not only its soul but its way. Last night we popped in for the first time on this visit to be told at 9pm that the barman had already called last orders. Whilst he did serve us he proceeded to turn away several other customers- just madness. We’ll be frequenting The Castle & St Brides on this trip and hope that before we come back later in the year that the Landlord sees some sense!

Minimalist decor, but tasteful. Very few people in there, when many, many more in the other two pubs. Perhaps is the extortionate price of drinks? A friend on our campsite was told, "Everything in hers is expensive mate!?"

Great pub in a great spot overlooking the bay and directly on the coastal path. Excellent beer and service from a really friendly landlord and staff, would highly recommend a visit.

I visited this pub during a storm , it looks steeped in history and the building has many stories to tell !! I entered through the narrow double doors into a bar area with multiple lit fires and a welcoming environment. Families sheltering from the storm with drinks and playing games that are on hand . Great views of the harbour . Not the first time I have been in here , that was 40 years ago and no doubt was very different then . Recommend for a cosy pint , coffee or even a meal

Stunning pub with an amazing view of the sea. We sat by a roaring fire for 5 beautiful hours. Delicious tapas menu which was delicious. Very friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Absolutely perfect

A real grown up pub, organic decor, real fires, good wine list, quality charcuterie, what’s not to like.

It’s so hard these days to find a place for grown ups, tasteful organic decor, cool vibe, good wine list and artisan nibbles/ sharing boards. We sat in front of a log burner in comfy chairs , great cool play list low in the background , and ate, high quality charcuterie supported by attentive staff. Please keep doing what you are doing. There are enough places catering for the masses . This was a cold March evening so this fab experience is before we even mention it is right on the waters edge in a gorgeous hidden cove , a fisherman’s haven of years gone by. If this was in Cornwall the holiday brochures would be waxing lyrical, but the Welsh would rather keep such finds hidden.

This pub no longer serves food, apart from bar snacks. We were unable to check it out because it was closed until Easter.

I can't really review the pub, as we came here after seeing the menu on Google overview page. They no longer serve the menu however so we went elsewhere. Just a warning to anyone who may be thinking of travelling here for food.

Lovely pub, very friendly owner, rotating real ales, dog friendly and, of course, amazing views.

The pub is just so welcoming, you see it and are drawn in by the soft tones of music or just the hub-bub of people chatting. The views from the windows over the sea (usually with somebody swimming or boarding) are superb. Whilst the pub does not do large meals, it does have a snack menu and a good selection of savouries. The ale sections are fantastic, with a mix of local and high quality international beers / wines and spirits. Its impossible not to relax once you are sat watching the world with a cold beer in your hand.

Excellent. Beautiful pub, sympathetically renovated with tasteful decor and furniture. Ales on gravity is a big plus, along with lagers on draught and a good selection of wines and spirits. I didn't eat there (apart from a jar of cockles) but the food on offer (meze) looked very well presented. It's a shame I don't live in Little Haven; The Swan Inn would be my local!

Amazing place ,so much atmosphere ,really lovely place to meet with freinds and enjoy great hospitality from the owners . Took dog in and recieved a bowl if water for her . Will definitely repeat our visit.

Great pub in the heart of the village, Open again after temporary closure last year. Not serving food at the moment but a great place for late afternoon/evening drinks sat on the wall outside taking in the stunning views of the bay 👌👌

Excellent pub in Littlehaven, circa 1785 and renovated recently to a very authentic high standard. Very friendly staff and chilled, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended

Wow! Beautifully renovated but still a proper pub. We had some perfectly kept Bass from the keg. Other choices were a local blonde (also excellent) and Courage Directors. A huge range of wines and whiskies too. Couldn’t fault the place. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent service....

Lovely to see The Swan open for drinks again - no food at the moment but plan to restart this for the summer. Super terrace with views over the bay and good ale.

We visited briefly on a whistle-stop pub tour of Pembrokeshire on New Years Eve and enjoyed the homely atmosphere in a pub with loads of character! We only had some bar snacks, including the fabulous cracking and it has definitely whetted our appetite to return...

Really sad that this Pub didn't find a way to serve customers a coffee when their machine broke down and was not in service for quite some time. And if they had, they wouldn't have offered sweeteners for diabetics. Next time (?) probably best to take my own, and ask to buy some hot water.

We visited The Swan Inn for Sunday lunch. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our lunches were really tasty and we had lovely views across the beach from the upstairs restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

Been twice whilst visiting the area once for drinks and the other for food. Have to say great place and the best in little Haven in our opinion! Service was excellent, very friendly. We came we our young puppy and the lady at the bar...

The location and interior of the pub is lovely - we just weren't so impressed with the quality of the food and felt it to be over priced. I had the sausage cassoulet which was average - but those that chose the burgers found the meat to be salty and didn't taste homemade, unfortunately - although the chips were quite good. I won't be eating here again.

We entered the inn preceded by an ampley sized chef. This I perceived as a good omen. Sadly this did not prove to be the case. Firstly let me say that the place is superbly placed and the bar and service staff are very pleasant....

You just can’t beat sitting out on the wall, sipping a pint, and enjoying a most perfect evening, especially at high tide with a setting sun.

The food was fantastic, we booked for a 2 course Christmas Eve for our family of 4 and the portions size were quite generous to say the least, so only one of us could manage the two courses. V. tasty food indeed, I had the Seabass, best ever ! A few things to pick up on but really not worth mentioning, as I just put it down to a very busy time of year where all the staff were rushing around. Great job guys, you made our meal special.

Not the cheapest BUT the welcome is warm and the food is excellent. Best place on the planet to watch a rugby match when Wales are playing.

A traditional pub. Always found it to be friendly and fairly busy. A good selection of foods especially fish dishes. My partner had cod in a super light batter and said it was delicious. They also sell Aspalls which is a winner for me.

I’m part of a group of friends who hold an event every year in the village. As part of the weekend we all gather for some drinks and a meal in The Swan and it’s always a highlight of our stay.

I recently visited The Swan Inn in Little Haven and initially we were made to feel very welcome. We sat downstairs and I ordered our drinks and paid directly at the bar for the drinks. As we were eating, we were seated upstairs and proceeded to order our food. As the pub was quite busy, we had to wait quite a long time but when the food came it was tasty and value for money. However, when we came to pay for the meal, the drinks I originally paid for downstairs had been added to the bill. When I questioned this, I was told to speak to a member of bar staff downstairs. I went back to the bar and explained that I had already paid for the drinks, and that if they looked back on the till, they would see the order and would then be able to see that the payment had been made. I was made to feel like a liar and questioned intensely about my drinks. The manager/supervisor would not check back on the till, instead he made me write my name and contact number down on the bill and doubted I was telling the truth - instead telling me that he was a multi millionaire and that £11 was nothing to him. I HAD PAID FOR THE DRINKS !!! This was a very sad end to a nice meal and I will not be visiting this pub again. Next time I order drinks in a pub, I will be asking for a receipt for evidence!

Lovely, friendly pub in a fantastic location overlooking Little Haven beach. We had halibut fillet and Aqua Pazza, both freshly cooked and very generous portions. Too full for dessert!

Sunday lunch, stacked up and only one slice of beef. Stick to great taste not masterchef , and more vegetables not just a serving spoon portion between two !! Come on it’s a Sunday lunch

I really wouldn't want other visitors to experience the rude unfriendly manner of the manager who insulted my deaf 86 yr old father and whose grumpy and offensive manner made us get up and leave.after hoping to celebrate an 80 th birthday. Will never be back.

Beautiful little pub located beachside in Little Haven. Relatively busy for a weds pm but barman was more than attentive and polite. Nice selection of ales and decent menu although a little overpriced in my opinion. The ploughmans was delicious and a sizeable portion too.

We went here twice for a meal, Food good,Friendly staff. But most importantly they were really happy to accommodate our two golden retrievers. Can recommend there raw to paw dog food freshly made our dogs loved it .

We visited twice on this holiday. The first time with family for drinks and the second time for dinner. Our choice was fish and it was excellent. What a setting too. We had the table in the bay window with a warm fire as our backdrop. We are delighted we got to sample the joys of The Swan. We hope to return one day.

My wife and I visited Little Haven over the August BH weekend.We both had a fantastic meal at The Swan, both chose fish dishes although different types of fish. Fish was so fresh and cooked to perfection and accompanied by locally sourced vegetables which were delicious too. Service was first class, will definitely be visiting again soon. Although some reviews may say over priced, we don't mind paying a little extra for such good food.

Grossly inflated prices for average fare. £16 for main course (one of cheapest), £6.50 for ice cream. And allowing dogs in the dining area is disgusting. I wouldn’t be surprised if that breaches Health and Safety regulations. Pity as the service was good.
