We had to sit out the back as we had a dog . Couldn’t fault the food was really good . The worst thing was the pigeons they were horrendous. They kept coming up to the table we kept shewing them away but they kept returning . Totally put us of our food . Really think they need to sort this problem out. We have had friends going there and they have said the same

Been here three times now and the food and portion sizes are good Each time we visit Tenby always go for a meal at the Life Boat, it’s dog friendly but you have to sit outside in the beer garden. They do have heaters so you will not freeze Only draw back is the bar staff, they aren’t the happiest or welcoming

£18 for a pretty poor Chilli con carne , Wife and Sons sandwich was also not great. They also said their Guinness was something they prided themselves on (I'm a big Guinness drinker), but it was wrank; I should have realised when nobody else was was drinking it. Staff were borderline rude, not welcoming. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Way overpriced for what it is. We paid £26 for 2 mediocre cocktails. They advertise as having the best cocktails in town but far from it. After the Ironman event yesterday we called in to have some food with some friends. There was 8 of us including my 2 children, we ordered at the bar and the staff member was rude with absolutely no manners and rolled her eyes when I asked her for my drink (that she forgot) food then arrived with no sign of my eldest sons meal, we asked twice to be told it was coming, it came as we all finished our food. Asked for the manager, no manager came. The manager then walked past so my husband called him over, his response was I’m only now being made aware of this but people make mistakes (what mistake if you were only now being made aware?) and offered us….. a free soft drink. LOL. We won’t be returning and my advice from reading other reviews, avoid. So disappointing.

Food was lovely, served in a appealing manner, chips were nice, crunchy which I'm personally not a fan of so I can't fault them for it, chicken burger was lovely however the included onion rings weren't very breaded and hard large onions inside of them, making the taste more onion than onion and breaded mix you'd expect, worst part was the cola, they don't sell Coca Cola or Pepsi and is instead this cheap stuff that isn't the best.

Stayed in Tenby for 2 nights and both days went to the lifeboat tavern for evening meal. First night had the lifesaver beef burger which was very tasty, the been patty was thick and jucy and cooked great. Stated on the menu that the beef burger is cooked from fresh locally sourced ingredients and it definitely tasted like it and didn't tast like it was cooked from frozen. On second night had their steak and chips, asked for it to be cooked rear and got exactly that, It was a beautiful cut of beef full of juices and very tasty not normally get a steak cooked to how I like it but they definitely cooked that steak to how I wanted it. Highly recommend this establishment for great food.

I had a pint of Madri and the Lifeboat Tower burger, whilst my girlfriend had a Baileys Hot Chocolate and Chilli Jacket Potato. These came to something like £46 which on paper is expensive. However the food and drinks were of exceptional quality, to the point we returned the next day, driving 25 minutes to get there in the middle of Storm Isha. I had the burger again and a pint of Staropramen, whilst my girlfriend joined me in having a burger and drank a Rekordelig. We turned up to have prep ghost tour drinks on a horrendously rainy night with 2 dogs to be told that we were only allowed to sit out side, not particularly cozy with the wind and rain on our October break. So we decided to venture over the road where we were welcomed with a smile and table where we sat inside and enjoyed a few drinks and food. The lifeboat needs to reconsider the dog policy, as we weren't the only customers who felt uncomfortable and at least 5 other people walked out within the few minutes we were in the premises. They need to reconsider the dog policy. No one should be expected to told to sit outside on an October evening just because they have dogs.

Having visited on several occasions, we highly recommend the food. Comming from the United States, the salad is the best I have tasted in the UK.
