Greggs in Pembrokeshire

Went to walk in holding my little dog in my arms to see if I could be served. I saw the “no dogs sign”, but just wanted to ask as there was nowhere to tie him up outside and I was on my own and hungry. Next minute the member of staff member behind the counter, shouted at me telling me to “get out”, causing all patrons in there to stop and stare. I asked if they could take my order and that he was calm and wouldn’t cause a fuss and again I was shouted at to get out. Awful service.

Best Greggs I have personally visited.

Well done to the staff here, never been engaged by such friendly Greggs staff. Especially Ellie, infectious positive attitude and made you feel your custom was wanted. Brilliant, Da Iwan Ellie.

Awful bully rude staff and rubbish too good to go bag bag. £2.59 for a sausage roll and a cheese sandwich. Not worth the bother.

This must be the first time me and my family have had a Greggs sausage roll and Cheese and Onion pastie and all the food was cold. We sat upstairs as well. Otherwise, the store seems nice and clean, in a great location.

Simply tried the door and found Greggs to be closed contrary to it saying open!! Always enjoy Greggs so very disappointed today in the last day of our holiday. Very misleading to state they’re open but have the door locked!!

Friendly staff, busy outlet, town centre location. New Greggs , much larger, under construction a few doors away. Excellent value for money, especially the breakfast sandwich and drink deal, plenty of seating around the church square, well worth a visit.

Dirty disgusting place the pizzas were all burnt has were all the pastry's the place was dirty the sugar section was dirty Gregg's company are going down hill every where clearly down to the area manager they need a new one

Perfect to grab for a quick lunch in work. Steak bakes are my absolute fave and never disappoint.

Great food friendly staff and the coffee was also very nice

I had the pepperoni and latte combo. The pizza was fres, hot and tasty as was the coffee. I find that often latte's are not too hot but this was and it was delicious.

Roughly ten minutes to 1pm I went into Greggs Tenby and bought £7 worth of food. I politely asked for some ketchup and was being served by the male member of staff (who was lovely) - the female brunette member of staff interrupted and raised her voice at me and tried to embarrass me in front of a line of people telling me how she wouldn’t pay £1.35 for ketchup. Her customer service skills were terrible and she should maybe consider how deeply she feels about other people’s sauce preferences. I’ll never return to a Greggs again.

I can't say we use Greggs often but their food is always very fresh. The staff in Tenby's Greggs were all really lovely too. Full marks to all!!

Greggs is just great when ever you call in . We had sausage baguettes and tea. Fantastic value fir money and a great breakfast snack. Well done Greggs. Your yum yum are great too . 👍

Nice place for a Sunday morning coffee as most places not open first thing

Visited today and was left embarrassed after asking for some red sauce for the pack of four sausage rolls for my son. Disgusting attitude from the jobs worth manager!!!!!!

Asked for very hot coffee and got just warm coffee. Staff not very engaging.

I go here every day that I stay in Tenby, perfect for a bite and a drink before a walk down the beach!

Fast service and fantastic tasting food as always.

Don’t bother going in here if you care about social distancing as the staff and other customers clearly don’t! Must have been about 20 customers crammed in and no indications of queuing system or distancing markers on the floor. Left the queue in disgust. Went to a locally owned independent place down the road and wasn’t disappointed.

Well kept and busy store, with happy, enthusiastic staff. Small ramp as you go in but nothing excessive, seating inside as well.

Just because, what's not to like

Tenby was so busy that we couldn't find anywhere to sit and have lunch, so ended up buying ham & cheese rolls in Greggs Cafe in the High Street. Although there were lots of people in the queue, we were served with a smile and didn't have to wait too long. They apologised for the wait & that we couldn't sit in the tiny Cafe. We did go back later to have a cup of tea once the queues disappeared. Even though it wasn't what we intended to have for lunch, we have to say that the rolls were both well filled and absolutely delicious.

Bought sandwiches and donuts for our lunch and sat outside in the sunshine watching the world go by, lovely.

Really is a good place for a quick drink and cake. Good service, most enjoyable Coffee and hot chocolate plus a cake of your choice for an extra 25p.

Good variety with - I'm pleased to see - some healthy options available. Helpful staff in the Tenby shop.

I'm a Vegetarian but my Fiance isn't! So we were both delighted to find a branch of Greggs, as they sell delicious Vegan Sausage Rolls as well as Bacon Rolls - as we were eating out later that evening, we just needed a snack to tide us over. We were both very happy! Staff were okay, quite pleasant, service was quick, although the shop itself could have done with a bit of a tidy up! But I am loving those Vegan Sausage Rolls, fab as a quick snack!

Had sausage rolls for a snack with my wife, whilst exploring the town. they were nice and warm and were very tasty. Very good value for a pound each.

Well in the summer holidays this place is totally manic. Walked in lucky enough to sit down. Staff look stressed, from my point of view this place per customers is to small. Needs addressing, food was hot pizza was nice, drink good meal in general ok. Every Gregg's is pushed needs to work on emptying bins, cleaning up sit down area. Staff need to be more engaging smile. Pleasant & respectful overall ok but I warn you how manic this place is.

It's Gregg's. Great for a handy snack and their vegan sausage rolls are fabulous. There portion sizes have reduced recently though without a corresponding reduction in price. Prices risen by stealth again 😕 Look at the custard slice for example. It's a shame that company's do that these days - -and they're all at it. Show me one that doesn't.

Next door to our accommodation this place was great for a snack anytime of the day. It s always busy which shows how good they are.

It does what it says on the tin. Cheap alternative when on an expensive holiday and unanimouse agreement from the kids!

Usual high standards expected oh Greggs but no green tea?

Ordered an omelette and bacon roll. I got a roll with a dried out hard piece of bacon in it. I wouldn't even give it to my dog. Plus they forgot the omelette. Never again.

Greats place for quick food and a coffee

Whilst in Tenby today we stopped at Greggs for Cappuccinos and wasn’t disappointed. We sat on a bench opposite and rested our weary legs. Had to wait in long queue but well worth it - pleasant staff and great tasting cappuccinos !

Unfortunately I never got to sample the goods ordered my food went to pay and unfortunately it's policy not to accept a 50 pound note as a tourist I had no other cash or card on me at the time staff were unable to explain why just that it's policy got my pastries in another pastry shop who had no problem taking my money

We were staying self catering in Tenby and Greggs was the ideal place to pick up a picnic sandwich. Freshly made and a reasonably wide choice of fillings. And very friendly staff.

Very handy for d.i.y. and gardening sprayers etc.

We called in for a coffee to find you can have sandwich and coffee meak deal for £3.15! Very good value and very nice food.

Watch for the special deals, Called in for coffee,had two steak slices and two coffees for less than I pay for just two coffees in lots of other establishments. Nice coffee,well worth it,served piping hot.

This years visit the same as 2 years ago. Your 2 ladies are so pleasant .Lovely smiles and eye contact as you reach the counter after a long queue ,which is a good sign of tasty food and quality service. . My husband are addicted to Greggs Sausage rolls . (Telford, Shrewsbury often )They treat you like a friend, without holding up the queue . so nice these days to be treated as they them selves would like to be .I must admit , where ever we use Greggs . the service and Cleanliness is always very good

We had a take-away coffee from here and had prompt service with a friendly smile. Good coffee. The chocolate biscuit was delicious too. Would recomend for a quick snack

When I went to stand in the que there were Two people working and working hard as well,but as the que got a little shorter the bell went on one of the cookers and that was it the young man went there and it was like he'd gone to Saundersfoot he only had half a doz things to tale off the tray and then he just stood there talking to another man behind the counter leaving the lady to serve a lot of customers and we were nearing the ENDof the que and he popped back and started serving couldn't belive it why talk when you have a que I know the food is BERY IMPORTANT BUT THE lady was on the shop floor on her own

We took a boat trip to Caldey Island and popped into Gregg's to grab some pies for a picnic lunch. I do love their pies.

Fab as always. We happily joined the que and got great service and hot food. Lots on offer at great prices, seating inside aswell and they even see.sliced loads which mine doesn't anymore. Well done 😋

This is a small Greggs with the usual continuous queue for drinks, sandwiches, pies, pizza and everything else they sell at extremely good value pricing. We stopped to sit down and enjoyed a cup of tea at one pound it was equally as good as tea we had been paying over twice as much for for while on holiday. I admit there is no china cup and saucer or teapot but this is very good value nonetheless.

I asked for 2 breakfast baguettes. Unfortunately the lady serving me was too busy chatting to her daughter and granddaughter that she got them both wrong. Very poor

Centrally located in Tudor Square, this small Greggs is just what you would expect - busy all day, offering freshly made food to go - although there is a small area available if you want to "eat in".

In the centre of town,clean and tidy offering great fresh sandwiches and a delicious freshly cooked variety of savoury pastries.

Lovely freshly baked bread. Staff are friendly and the coffee is superb .

This chain has a good reputation for it's bakery-based fast food items as well as it's bread etc. When you're just in the market for a take-away snack or two these are a good the place to go.

Not bad for a Greggs this branch has a useful large toilet. Staff always seem friendly, but they are always busy which means the tables and chairs don’t get cleaned as much as needed. Food is fine but may be sold out of some lines at times. A victim of their own success. Good seating area with a modern feel.

Can’t complain about their food etc.. standard Greggs. It’s fine. But they really need more staff around busy periods, their never stocked enough and if 2 people are serving often on will just walk away for some time.. yes probably getting food etc, but with queues out the door? I work locally so know this is a frequent occurrence.

Standard Greggs. Staff very friendly, could have done with more on in the morning but we didn't wait particularly long. We did visit the previous day late afternoon and there was very limited available. eat early.

Hubby and I went in on big bang weekend, holiday makers were still down. Slow service, only one cook on. We left other wise would off been 45m wait. Get more staff!

Stopped for coffee and a breakfast bap, which were excellent as usual. The lady serving was particularly friendly and helpful. A great start to our day.

we called in for takeaway it was mid week there was tables free so we stayed and had two sausage baps and two teas only cost ￡4.00,which was a deal very tasty

This is a good alternative for a reasonably priced snack rather than always paying out for food in pubs/cafes. The shop is always busy, with people queuing out the door every time we passed during our 1 week stay in Tenby. We popped in several times during our stay, and apart from probably needing more staff to deal with the vast number of customers, our experience was always a positive one.

Huge queue out the door, one lady serving extremely slowly... any slower she'd be going backwards. Expected chavy food

My family was in Tenby yesterday and decided to have a Greggs. Queue was out the door and didn't move for 10 minutes due to only having One poor lady serving. I would say it took 30 minutes to get served. All of the food was then cold which topped it off. My gripe is the poor lady doing her best, 4 staff on would still not have coped. Nice place bad management. Everyone else in the Queue were saying the same due to us being on first name terms due to the wait lol. Lastly as a business the money being lost due to people going elsewhere or avoiding the ques is unreal. Sad to see this amount of lost revenue for a good business. Rant over

Recently spent a five day holiday in Tenby, was pleased to find Creggs had a new shop opened and was able to eat at tables inside as the weather wasn't to good the week we visited Tenby, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, we enjoyed a lovely fresh roll and a nice cup of tea, greggs always gets full marks from me as the choice of food is endless and always fresh.

Every town should have a Greggs.Excellent choice,excellent service and friendly staff.Wish they sold loaves of bread to buy.
