Great night in our staff do considering the original entertainment was cancelled and we ended up having a band and a free drink of our choice to compensate.. We enjoyed a two course meal, turkey or beef dinner & dessert, I would of preferred a starter, but wasn't given the choice.. Serving staff were a shambles, no organisation, some quite miserable!! Served hot plates then 15minutes later the meat, 10 minutes later the veg, then the gravy, which ended up being warm food.. Not one table was completely served at once only half served, which spoilt a lovely delicious meal, if i was the chef I'd be annoyed.

Nice cozy place with comfy chairs...lots of coffee options...lots of muffins, cakes, croissants, etc. as well as sandwiches! Lovely staff! Dog friendly!

We had a very enjoyable meal. My husband had the steak and ale pie. I had the chicken curry. The Wye Valley beer is very good. Roger is a welcoming host. Service friendly and efficient..

Not a good meal at all, the steak was bland and tasteless, basic food, very poor quality, no salad or garnish, really disappointing. The older lady that served us was miserable, we did not feel at all welcome there, it seems like she felt we were beneath the establishment. Such a shame as it's a lovely looking place in a beautiful location. I've been there quite a few times over the years though I will not be returning. If you want to get looked down upon this is definitely the place to be.

I threw a surprise 30th for my husband in August and Caitlin helped me every step of the way. She was absolutely amazing with communiction and nothing was too much. She suggested ideas and helped me with organising the place ready. I couldn’t thank her enough for how helpful and professional she was. Thank you so much. I would suggest Nolton Corner as a venue for anyone looking for a party! It was amazing and my husband loved it. Thank you Caitlin 🌟

Started Popping into the branch more often recently. Staff are always pleasant and enjoy a bit of banter and conversation with each other Very Popular branch with Locals and passers by. Tidy and well kept. No issues with the layout etc.

We loved this place..had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay..very friendly welcome..very reasonable price inc breakfast..the beds are comfy and everything spotless..the entertainment was exceptional a unique band called Raindodgers so entertaining who created a fantastic atmosphere..the people in the hotel in the evening were so friendly the whole area very relaxing..will book again without doubt.

You used to be able to get a decent breakfast or lunch here. Now it’s totally hit and miss. My last few visits they’ve either been closed or just serving coffee and cakes. Published opening hours seem to be getting shorter and shorter so we have just stopped calling in for our mid walk food. Other sites along the pathway don’t seem to have the same issues. Such a shame - it could be a goldmine and on a large site I would expect better for people holidaying there.

There used to be a variety to the menu but present it seems to be cheeses based. The prices have gone up too. Ended up with just a bowl of chips in the end for myself. It’s nice to have sides on the menu but when there’s nothing to go with it what’s the point? Took about 15 minutes to get the “meal”. Had to ask for a plate for the chips, and when I had the hot drink, was asked whether I needed milk. Fortunately there are place nearby that have more variety.

I've never had a bad meal at this place and it's never really packed at lunch time, so you'll always find a table no problem. The food gets cooked and brought out quickly too. The portion sizes are good and they have substituted the Bangers & Mash with Quorn sausages when I've asked the staff if they are able to do that.

From the moment we stepped in on our first night of our holiday we knew this would be a regular haunt. A proper pub, no food, cash only, a free duke box. The beer was great, and the landlady was welcoming and friendly, as were the locals, even though we were English! My Daughter fell in love with Dennis the dog, and after 2 tours of duty as a mine search dog, we couldn’t give this pooch enough love! Genuinely we love this pub. Historic with amazing atmosphere and close to the historic harbour it’s a highly recommended from us!

We popped in for a snack and had jacket potato with tune mayo and my husband had chips, sausage and egg. Both dishes were well cooked and well presented. We also had two hot chocolates which were delicious. The lady who served us was lovely and very pleasant. We enjoyed our meals very much and look forward to our return.

Very small room but clean and cozy. Need to get windows unstuck though.

Disgusting! Banning all under 25’s!! Single out the ones that’s cause trouble and ban them don’t put all under 25’s in the same category.
