Lovely food , despite an abundance of bees landing on us whilst eating with 3 little children under the veranda , owners have got some bee attractions but they were all full . No children’s menu but we ordered adults food and shared them out . And no high chairs , so although children liked the animals we probs won’t go again because cafe no overly child friendly .
Just moved to rhiwbina and was excited to see my new ‘local’ and it did not disappoint, beautiful rustic interior ,amazing coffee (iced or hot) &cakes .and really lovely staff ,will be coming here again and again .
One of the few places in Newport that has craft beer available. The owner was super friendly and attentive and so was his dog scout. A variety of retro consoles downstairs too!
It was our first visit to this recently reopened restaurant in Rogerstone. We were given an immediate warm welcome and offered a choice of tables. We were served promptly in a relaxed and attentive manner. The food was succulent and attractively presented. It was good value for money. We will certainly go back.
So pleased to see Aber has a Cafe Nero! THE best coffee house. I popped in for an Americano with oak milk, had a few issues with my app but the male barista was very helpful and sorted it out for me- thanks! Lush, strong coffee.
It's a Greggs but the staff are even more friendly than they usually are. I popped in to pick up the usual vegan sausage rolls and they pointed out all the other things they did that were vegan, explained the meal deals and cracked a couple of jokes too,
It's a Greggs but a bit better than usual.
Visited for the day to watch the 6 nations rugby - it was an accidental find and they were amazing. Welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We spent a lovely afternoon - food 1/2 time and good drinks and service.
Thank you
This place is a real surprise in St David’s Centre. The service was excellent and a real friendly feel to the place, servers were very attentive. I had the Cardiff pasta which was delicious with a creamy but not overly rich sauce. They even provided a small limoncello on the house to finish. Can’t fault this place and the surrounding chains should take note!
Appalling.
Booked a table because we knew it would be busy on match day.
Waited nearly an hour for food. Table next to us got served but we were left waiting and waiting.
No apology from the waiter who was really snappy and dismissive.
Weak cheap cocktails.
Manager on door said it was overwhelming because of the rugby - yet everyone else was getting served. They shouldn’t accept the booking if they can’t serve the food. A basic ask of a restaurant.
A simple sorry would have helped but they didn’t care at all.
Fed up of giving this place a chance. It’s tacky, toilets are dirty and staff are awful.
Please go to one of Cardiff’s lovely places. This isn’t one.
