My local,love my Thursday night pool nights there,good company,good music,nice food.

A bit rough and ready but didn't feel too uncomfortable, Pint was good though, plenty of taste. (I called in during six nations game second half) bar was a bit soaked with spilled beer, barman actually takes your card (tap n pay). Very small bar area, no seating available,( but as I said match day) bit cramped felt like you were in someone's way all the time. But not unfriendly. And again beer was a good taste. ! Can't say I won't call again.

Didn't eat food from here hence the no rating. Friendly pub and decent prices. Nice to see the owners supporting local causes too.

Great little pub, the new owners are lovely and the singer (Em mac) raised the roof! 🙌

Just plain awful. 1 quick pint after work, it was disgusting. Quick trip to the toilets left me considering peeing in the street. Took my card from to take payment instead if bringing the card reader to me. Won't be returning.

Landlady very friendly and makes you feel welcome.

Having attended the pub, received a less than welcoming greeting from the land lady. Hostile and rude would be the best way to discribe her demeanour. Having attended this premises many times over the year previously. I returned following covid. I will not be coming back

Regular pub in Caerphilly, normal range of drinks, pool table and dartboard. Beer garden at rear and a few bench tables out the front. Does Sunday roasts.

Nice local pub with friendly staff and management. TV and sports are available and food is put on during the matches. Great beer of course!

Turned up to play for the open mic night and after half an hour of having a quiet one the owner comes down and starts pointing his finger at me, telling me to keep my opinions to myself. I hadn't said anything to anyone and no idea what started it but I won't be returning any time soon

Not a bad pub, just a little out of the way from the centre of town, does have a pool table though, and drinks are reasonably priced, so plus points there.

Relaxed , friendly , environment, customer focused ,experienced licensees. Sample the Sunday lunches ,, great value for money ,, in a chilled traditional pub surroundings.

Dined at the Masons on Sunday 17th December, party of 9. Party consisted of 7 meaties and 2 Veggies, starters of excellent quality, mains plenty of succulent meat and plenty of fresh vegetables. Vegetarians well pleased with their meals which had veg gravy and veggie roasts. Desserts also of a high standard, Christmas cracker, cheesecake and Christmas pudding. Staff go above and beyond to please you. 10/10 ps. Also an excellent range of wines and beers. Thanks for a high standard experience.

Dear Madam/sir I attended too your pub too watch a match. We do come on a regular Base, unfortunately the lady in charge was not good manor the way she spoke too me. The reason for this is because I only opened a small window as my child was hot. The lady said also that I made a compliant last time I attended saying that I was cold. Yes, I was cold the last time I came, but that was myself saying I was cold. Today , I found the following lady was rude not acceptable the way she raised her voice at us over a small window that we opened . When I went to the bar to order drinks I said in a good manor that I did not like the way she spoke too us, she then raised her voice again and start rasing her hands. What a rude person and not acceptable to talk to customers in the way she did, after all we pay her wages. What made it worse she discuss the issues with other people in which it had nothing too do with them .

Went as a party of seven, well looked after, staff friendly and helpful, and, the food was very good, all home cooked. Worth a visit

If I could rate this zero stars I would. They don't deserve any stars after my treatment today. The manager/chef was very rude and screamed at me for asking for extra yorkshire puddings for my daughter. I had booked a table and didn't think it was a problem. She told me to go and eat somewhere else and continued to scream at me in front of my daughter and all of her customers. I will never step foot in this pub as long as they are managers there and I don't recommend anyone does. The worst treatment I have ever received and it totally ruined mine and my daughters day. This was my first and last visit. I have never been so humiliated and upset. One word 'disgusting'

Enjoyed our visit, very good meal, plentiful and tasty. Staff helpful and very pleasant. Lovely place to stop and relax with a drink and a good, well cooked and presented meal. Would certainly visit again.

Lovely little local pub in a great location by the main park. Enjoy a lovely Sunday lunch here or a quiet drink with friends. Family entertainment is offered each week too. Staff are friendly and chatty. Enjoy a drink with locals.

Have visited a couple of times for Sunday lunch which has been very good. Portions plentiful with fresh vegetables and meats. Looks like it has been recently refurbished. Landlady takes the orders and is very friendly. Seems like she is trying very hard to attract more customers. Staff are also friendly and attentive. Great value.

Absolutely amazing staff and fast service of delicious food! Definitely worth your time for a visit on your own or with a partner or family, has a lovely back garden with benches and a shelter for smokers. Big time amazing lager well recommended get down there people!

Attended a wake that had been put on here for a family member. It's was an absolutely fantastic spread and all the staff members were very warm & friendly. Lovely pub. 👌👍

Went here after a visit to big cheese festival for lunch. It looked really nice inside. Very clean and new looking. That's where it ends though. There was hardly anyone in there and nobody eating which was a bit strange. Well after a 45 min wait all we had to show for it was a plate full of frozen food and frozen chips and a bill for £50. It's just not good enough these days with so many pubs serving good or half decent food in the area. Sorry to say I won't be going back for a meal. Oh. One more think. The restaurant manageress needs to stop barking orders in front of customers and maybe concentrate on the quality of the product coming out of the kitchen

This basic pub has been closed due to arson attacks but is now open. However,,be prepared for loud locals & music Landlady does now serve at least one real ale. On my visits there has been Spitfire & Hobgoblin both in good condition.

What a good pub loving the new managers just wish they could stay forever food was to a high stranded an will be hard to mach for new management to come
