Lovely hot drinks, served very quickly

Popped in yesterday, disappointed is an understatement, service was fine, drinks were OK, but how dirty the toilet was with shit around the rim under the seat, the entrance look like building work had just been finished, flies around the food that put us off finishing our drinks, can't see us going back

Delivery was fine but food was awful. Toastie was freezing and the beans inside were rock hard, had to throw it out! Frappe arrived with no cream, no sauce and was as thin was water. Terrible terrible service, won’t order from here again

ordered coffee and yet no coffee came absolutly disgusted that I cannot call the store in blackwood what a joke!

Delivery was so quick and the drinks hadn’t been spilt at all, the order was handled with care and we were super happy with it!

Always make a mess with my order wouldn’t recommend

Delivered to wrong address! Was given a delivery code to make it sure gets to me! But this didn’t work as my code wasn’t given to the delivery driver. Won’t be ordering again.

Enjoyed our visit here, daughter treated me 😃 both had hot chocolates (orange one and a mint one) topped with cream and a choc each! Lovely 💖

What a change. And I told the manager. It's the first time in alo g time that I can say that the place looked clean. 👌

Great coffee, but interior could do with a make over

I had a large caramel latte which was warm at best. It was already a warm day and within a few minutes of having the drink it was room temperature. Not enjoyable at all. I was seated just on the other side of the coffee making area and noticed how incredibly dusty it was. I was able to draw on the back of the coffee machine, so it seems cleaning is only done to a cursory level within the working area, nothing more. The staff were well mannered enough, they seemed a bit tired but it was toward the end of the day. I have no real grumbles for them, we were served in a timely manner.

thought food was not coming left previous review food is beautiful but at 2.45 delivery arrival we had already eaten as diabetic.

Got our coffees and went to sit down. OMG not one seat was clean. They all need a good clean to the seat to the wood. They tables need a good sand down and varnish. Over all the whole place need a good overall.

Not worth the money two leaves of spinach a tiny bit of mushrooms I would be ashamed to serve it🤬

Always good coffee but seems to be short staffed and tables not cleared.

Usually really good but I ordered a brie and cranberry toastie and it came with bacon in it even though it doesn't state that on the item description.

Ordered a sausage roll but got a sausage sandwich instead

Food was excellent, very tasty, however the festive sticky toffee latte was slightly disappointing and didn’t offer any more flavour than a standard latte!

delivery driver was very fast and polite

Didn’t send the right order again. I wish they would call and tell you if they haven’t got what you’ve ordered as guessing a substitute isn’t the best.

My toastie was only toasted one side. Very expensive. Noticed the walls were dirty and could definitely do with a clean. I wanted to roll my sleeve up and get stuck in! One toilet.

The hot drinks are not very hot the female staff was rude and did not know what hazelnut hot choc tasted like..that don't really sell it for me..a smile and manners go a long way.

Stated delivered and no delivery. Now I have to wait hours for a refund 😡

Wrong toasties delivered, no communication to let me know my toasties was no longer available and no options for me to make a decision to change it or cancel my order. Mystery cake added to my order I'm assuas an apology but no information on what it actually was so no allergy information on it. I understand things sell out but there are better ways of dealing with it. The delivery of my order was fine.

Lucy our barista is great at putting patterns on the flat white the only one I know to be able to do the snow man and teddy I've asked in most of the Costa coffee shops but to no avail this of course is the blackwood cafe where she works well done Lucy and thanks

Drinks arrived incorrectly prepared - infact there was more cream than actual drink in the frappes ordered. Also missing a dessert ordered in the delivery.

No Boba in the blueberry frappe bubble tea = an unhappy daughter.

Maybe I went on a bad day, but the staff were really miserable 😣 (apart from the male member of staff that was clearing tables, he was very smiling and friendly) when I used to visit Costa the staff made the atmosphere a great place to be! But not today! To be honest I will use one of the other cafe in town next time.

Nice enough place, good to pop into when you're in town for a quick coffee. Could do with some extra staff, as there were very long queues when we went today. The staff are lovely though and I think some are being trained so it is understandable there were some issues with the order being made. Plenty of space for prams etc and children friendly. The view from the back window isn't the best though, hopefully they are doing something with the empty building underneath! (Although it is fun to watch everyone struggling with the car park ticketing machine 😆)

Great place, been here quite often and its still a great place to pop in for a drink and a bite to eat,service is very good, clean and tidy place, staff has always greeted me with a smile which makes my day, highly recommend everyone popping in for a drink a bite to eat

If you want a bunch of kids to mess up re-heating a toastie this is the place for you

Missing half the order and terribly made

I ordered a blueberry muffin and ginger biscuits and got something completely different I am not impressed this is not the first time I have ordered and it’s been completely wrong. I spend hard earned money on this and expect it to be what I wanted.

Made a complaint tea and coffee was cold the coffee was also very weak haven’t received a refund

Our first time ordering and all our food items were incorrect. The driver had someone else's bag of food which was given to us. Very very disappointed that we couldn't even call the shop to get it sorted and instead we have to wait for a refund. Absolutely spoiled our day off work.

Brought the complexly wrong order I told the driver order was wrong, he couldn’t of been less bothered, asked him to take it back he said no asked him for a contact numver he didn’t have one, so I spend £11 on nothing essentially I want my money back

Excellent customer service today, I came in to a big queue and a 3 month old baby who needed her milk now! Your team alloeed me to sit down ahead of ordering to feed her and then much to my surprise they then came and took my order snd brought my drink to the table. This meant a lot to a very flustered Mam who needed a drink but had to put baby first. Thankyou 🥰

Substituted all my items with random biscuits without asking me first! Not happy.

Latte was ordered and paid for, I was delivered a cup of hot milk and syrup. It seems the Costa employee didn’t put the shot of coffee in my latte and just sent out the milk. I reported the latte missing as there was no option to report that the coffee part was missing from my latte, but I want to specify that orders should really be checked before being sent out as the latte was present but the coffee was missing!

Said it was delivered, but I never received it. Must have been delivered to wrong address.

where was the mac?? WHERE WAS THE CHEESE???? also no marsh on the appropriate drinks, but it’s ok because the other didn’t have the cream so at least my partner and i were missing out equally

Would not rate this Costa at all, girl not very friendly when I questioned had my beans be added very surly said can take 24 hours ,asked for my receipt tutted and threw it across the counter .

They did not come work normal milk- they taste of soy milk or another milk?

This local costa has been so kind to me. I work there most days and they regularly bring me a free coffee or make mine a large when I have paid for a medium! The smile this brings to my face! Being self-employed can be lonely and they make it a great warm, friendly place for me to work.

Two items left off of order. Delivery driver just shrugs. 6 items on receipt. 4 delivered. Appalling.

Bag broke and coffee spilled everywhere as it was handed to me.

Arrived at 4.50 pm as we purposely visited this shop due to the closure time of 6pm but was met by a very ill mannered female staff member who just stated "are you looking for a takeaway drink as we are closing.". When I queried it being a 6pm closure time, she just replied "well we're closing at 5" and just got on with her cleaning. Completely lacked customer service skills. I shall not be rushing back anytime soon

Never received my order as wrong order was delivered to my house. The driver didn’t seem too keen to sort it either and just drove off.

Brillaint delivery service, but I ordered frostinos ? And they haven’t been blinded and just lumps of ice ? Stupid

Order was wrong. Food was cold. Drinks were correct and the app did update on the delivery time.

Unpleasant male worker. Visited the shop at 4:30pm knowing it does not close until 6. Worker did not know the meaning of manners and was very blunt. He Was sweeping around us at 5pm under the table and chairs when the shop was near enough empty and made us feel as though we had to leave. The smell of bodily odour was also very strong.

A big thank you to the staff for staying open for a few extra minutes just so I could have my well needed coffee fix! Ellie and the Manager and the rest of the staff always treat everyone so well even when it's packed. A great team there you have 😀 Thanks a bunch.

Lack of sufficient staff equals a drop in standards. Coffee given in cup instead of usual glass,when queried,young lady slammed cup under machine- coffee very milky. Tables not cleaned,dirty dishes left on tables ,local cafes far more value for money,cleaner- unfortunately closed on Monday

My food was never delivered, worst service I’ve ever been given

Used to enjoy having a Costa treat during shopping, but of late establishment is looking run down, terrible attitude off one member of staff, and overall not a pleasant experience visiting. As a rule, I don't leave bad reviews, everone has bad days, but on this occasion felt it was justified. To leave on a positive note, the young man serving at the till was very polite and helpful.

Order was supposed to take 20 mins but took 1 hour 30. Ordered sugar free skinny caramel latte but received black coffee. Ordered raspberry and almond slice but received blueberry muffin. Terrible service.

Food freezing cold and stale. Can't even bite into it it's that hard. Coffee Luke warm. Over an hour's wait for a cold coffee and freezing cold stale toasty
