Three Horseshoes Inn in Caerphilly

We had this place recommended by a lettings agent localy. A warm welcome awaited us from both staff and locals who were eating there. The food was amazing, clearly home cooked and we had a wonderful time. I cannot recommend highly enough. I will be eating here again very soon!

First visit to this establishment and what can i say friendly staff, very helpful and excellent food and value for money, nothing was too much trouble for them i only wish i could give them more stars, i can highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for being great hosts.

recently had a very nice meal at the three horseshoes easy access from the car park to the dining area in the conservatory Toilets are downstairs so not suitable for me as I am disabled and unable to use stairs

Just relaxing at home following a wonderful Festive lunch at this lovely pub. We’ve had several seasonal lunches over the last few weeks but this was by far the best. The food was excellent !!! If you haven’t already tried it you certainly should - Mark Claire and team are fantastic hosts creating a lovely warm atmosphere every time we visit. Many thanks Nick & Kath Morgan

We recently had a small gathering at the Three Horseshoes after a funeral. The buffet provided was excellent in quality and quantity and the service was friendly and attentive. It is a well run pub and an asset to the local community. Thanks very much.

Lovely fresh food. Waiter was helpful and kind when my autistic children were struggling with the environment and placed us in the conservatory where it was nice and quiet.

If you’re looking for a genuine and warm old fashioned pub experience then look no further than the Three Horse Shoes. This gem of a Pub is well kept the young barman when he showed himself was polite, friendly and helpful. Now for the best part I ordered from an extensive menu the 20oz mixed grill which consisted of one good quality sausage, one succulent lamb chop, tasty gammon, pork chop, tender steak, fried egg, mushrooms, onion rings and peas of course there were also plenty of chips ! Everything was cooked to perfection. My Niece who is an expert on burgers as are all kids ordered the burger with bacon and sweet potato fries she informed me that it was the best burger she had ever eaten which is huge praise as she’s eaten quite a few !! To conclude a great little pub with an amazing welcoming old fashioned feel with food and service worth travelling for. We will be back, keep up the great work guys and thank you for your hospitality.

We were at a funeral near by and were invited to the Three Horseshoes for a wake. Clean, tidy and well set out. Great different rooms, brilliant staff such a great visit.

If I could give six stars I would. The Three Horseshoes Inn is the epitome of hospitality in the greater Newbridge area. From expertly poured craft drinks to homely food served in a rural ambiance. This is truly a venue not to be missed.

Amazing food, great traditional pub atmosphere, decent pints and superb staff! Popped in for a meal with some friends. The staff were extremely welcoming, the food was amazing (Rump steak and the trimmings were on point, and the Rasberry and white chocolate cheesecake was out of this world). Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I would strongly discourage anyone from booking a large party at this venue. The food and service has been excellent on the many occaisions i have visited with a small number, so we booked the function room for a special family meal. 38 people to attend.All meals and numbers confirmed 3 days before the event. On arrival we were told that the prices I had listed on our menues from the website were four years out of date as they no longer update the website, no explanation was given for why it had not been taken down!!!I had requested that mains for people not having starters were brought straight up to maintain a flow of service, but this was not done, with the result that an hour and half after arrival some of the group had still not received their main course. The last dozen to eat reported that their meals were greasy and unpleasant.I appreciate that we were a large group, but if you can't accommodate the numbers don't take the booking!!!This was a very special day for our family and you let us down, we will be taking our business elsewhere in future.
