The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Scotland

We hadden na een lange reis niet meer de puf uitgebreid op zoek te gaan naar een restaurant dus we gingen naar de pub bij het station. Het eten was niet spectaculair maar voldeed.

Visited here for a relaxing spot of lunch with a pint. However, I noticed a group of people vaping at the table opposite me. They continued as staff were mopping up under their table after a few drinks got knocked over. Yet, the staff said nothing! I then asked a young man, who brought the food to my table, if vaping was permitted in the pub. He said it wasn't, so I suggested he tell this to the table of which I was pointing to. He just looked over at them and then walked away. When I had ordered my meal, I opted for the larger size madras for just an extra £1.40. It arrived rather quickly and was quite nice but it came without the chutney which is supposed to accompany the dish. This is usually a real nice Spoons but I'm disappointed with the experience on this occasion.

Stayed Wed Sept 4 th 2024 for one night would never recommend this place our shower was full of mould so we didn’t use it, the toilet broke after 3 flushes the carpet in the room had stains all over it and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The breakfast is a very little continental and I mean little. Would advise to look elsewhere

£24.30 4 people in 2020 It wasn't cheap but it was comfortable.

Nice place with clean rooms although a bit dated in places, room was comfortable and the staff were great - going beyond what was expected to make sure all was good. Overall very happy with staying here. Thank you :)

Relaxing lunch for nine of us was very chilled no stress or feeling of being rushed. Staff were great very helpful one of us got a pint of ale but it wasn't great so they changed it no fuss no hassle. Food was great, tasted loverly and come out hot. Definitely be back again.

Servers were lovely and welcoming. Fish n chips was disgusting. Fish obviously fried, allowed to go cold, then microwaved making batter rubbery and greasy. Carrots exactly the same, (like rubber). Tbf lentil soup was lovely, as was steak pie. Chef should be embarrassed!!! Chef said because the fish 'had been partially eaten,' (my partner tried in vain to just eat the fish), then no refund would be considered. No refund was being sought by us!

Roast was delicious. Came back on a Friday night. Again, the chilli, chicken goujons and stroganoff was tasty. We will be back. Super service from Lisa.

If you're looking for service with a smile, then your in the wrong coffee shop.

Good food and a great atmosphere

View, atmosphere, staff, superb! But then on the other hand the cooking is not the best, I have never eaten such dry veggie sausages in my life. We still enjoyed the moment

Very cool place to stay with a very warm welcome. Very cosy with lots of different places on site. The bar is clearly a hit with locals and out-of-towners. It was definitely a green flag how many of the people we met in the bar were repeat hotel stayers. Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Free parking nearby was great. Easy walk to channorery point for dolphin watching. Thanks to Jim and his son for a lovely stay! Hope to be back!

A good cafe for snacks, and lunch. Plenty parking.
