Savoy Cafe

07/11/2018: We just stopped in last minute midweek for dinner and were warmly welcomed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Both of us have special dietary requirements which they were more than happy to accommodate. The food was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. I highly recommend their GF fish and chips. Looking forward to our next visit.

Saffy's Cafe Bar & Brasserie

Ayr West, South Ayrshire, 20-30£
12/11/2018: Went to Saffy's on Sunday. This is the first time we had been and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The staff were very efficient and friendly and all 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was very quiet on Sunday so we had to make our own atmosphere, which we did, and the staff were great, they brought out a birthday cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to my son-in-law. Would definitely recommend it and will be back soon.

Weston Tavern

28/11/2018: The festive menu started, and we just tried out the Roast Breast of Turkey.... don't miss this! Even the sprout mash was nice, I had no idea this was even possible! The mix platter starter was brilliant as usual, with the tortilla and haggis pakora stealing the show. Great service & amazing food.

Puffers cafe

Irvine West, North Ayrshire
06/11/2018: If you want an inexpensive bite to eat in a no-nonsense environment, the Puffers the place. Just opposite the Maritime Museum. Snacks and more generous dishes for the larger hunger. Tasty.
04/11/2018: My mother in law went here for lunch with her mum and my son who was 9 months old. They were going to order their lunch and as my son has a medical condition he has to have his own food. As my son took a bite of his they were asked to leave as although they were buying food my baby wasn't allowed to eat his "packed lunch". I am absolutely disgusted with this, asking a family to leave as a BABY isn't allowed to eat his lunch!! Won't ever be back and will be telling people with families not to go.

Woodpecker Bar and Restaurant

Clydesdale North, South Lanarkshire
14/12/2018: Disappointing. The restaurant was cold, not enough staff, chipped wine glass, food not very hot and service slow. Ordered coffees which were cold and cup of tea was served with a teabag in the cup will not be going there again. House wine at £25 and £23 a bottle very expensive,
