Fantastic breakfast rolls. Great range and variety of veg and vegan. Excellent service. The quality of food is a level above local rivals.

Popped in on a Sunday. Lovely choice of homemade cakes deliciously made and served with a smile. Take some home if you can. We had Rose cupcakes, Alabama Cake, lemon drizzle loaf , all devine served with pots of tea. BOYB. Great sandwiches and afternoon tea available.. Friendly efficient service.

First visit to this delightful cafe today. Food and coffee delicious and served by very pleasant helpful staff. Will definitely be back.

Been here a few times now and its always excellent. simple quite rustic decor and brilliant freshly made food. Have had various Páve rolls and their home made cakes all of which have been excellent. Well go back. Caution though, book a table if you intend to go. Due to having relatively few covers they are usually busy

Loads of vegan options, fantastic meal! Hummus Sandwich so good! Prices are very reasonable. Friendly staff member. Nicely decorated. This place had a really nice vibe and it made my day.

Me and my wife popped in for brunch, she had vegetarian omelette with a Vietnamese coffee and I had an omelette with caramelised onion and cheese. Quite possibly the best omelette I have ever had. It is very cosy and clean with pleasant and helpful staff. We will definitely be back.

I only went in for coffee and a chocolate brownie but it was really good, to the extent I wanted to leave a review. I wanted a coffee not from one of the chains and saw this place. It's a small place with an open counter and the food prep going on behind it. Just had a coffee and a brownie and both were very good. The brownie was dense and chocolatey and a generous portion, the coffee was very good too. Seemed to be a good number of locals visiting, it was a first time for me not local to the area. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable on food intolerances. Food was amazing and served quickly. Highly recommend the afternoon tea.

My friend and I went for afternoon tea here and it was absolutely fantastic. I’ve been for numerous teas over the years and found this one to have a great selection of sandwiches, pastries, cakes, tray bakes and the owners definitely went that extra mile to make it totally stand out and different from the usual run of the mill afternoon teas I’ve had previously. I will certainly recommend anyone to give it a go when passing. Staff are very attentive without being overbearing and absolutely nothing is a problem to them. They offer a fabulous range of fresh made food and cakes to die for, it’s definitely worth sampling!!

Second time visiting and cannot believe the quality of the food and service here. Absolutely outstanding and incredible value for money. We had french toast with bacon, and omelette with bacon and cheese along with pumpkin spiced lattes. Cooked to perfection. Can't wait to go back!

This is a very pretty and welcomig cafe in Lanark. The staff were really friendly and the Menu looks very good with interesting mix of Mains and snacks, but we were just in for some cake and drinks. Light and gooey Chocolate Hazelnut Cake slice went down a treat and the Chocolate Orange Brownie had lots of chocolate chips and packed a punch of orange flavour too. We will definitley return another day for lunch. Well worth a visit.

I am fortunate to be on my second visit to Le Petit Cafe and it will definitely not be the last. The food is fresh, delicious and something different for your taste buds!The staff are helpful and always have a lovely smile on their face. The chocolate fudge cake is to die for!

I really like this place. Popped in for a late lunch. Simple bistro style cafe. Friendly Lanark service. Delicious, honest home cooked food. Prices are surprisingly good and possibly the best cappuccino I've ever had. Highly recommend this little cafe.

Tried to have lunch on two occasions .Both times fully booked ! Unusual in my opinion to book what is a cafe! A bit disappointing

French toast, bacon, maple syrup - awesome. French onion soup-can’t see past it! Afternoon tea, feast for the eyes and belly, improved only by taking some Prosecco with you and no corkage charge! This is a must if you’re in Lanark. Oh and my kids love the croissants! Xx

I stumbled upon this cafe the other day when looking for a quick coffee but it was pretty obvious that this place is a cut above the norm, so came back for lunch today, and was not disappointed. The food is fresh, extremely tasty and great value for money. Service was fast and friendly, and looking forward to returning soon.

Stumbled across this cafe on our way to New Lanark and it was a definite highlight! Lovely service, gorgeous cafe and outstanding French toast and coffee! Great prices too. Would happily return!

We visited this lovely little cafe today and enjoy a meal off of the lunch menu. I had the croque monsieur and my partner had the French dip pavé. Both were absolutely delicious, but especially the French dip with its rich and savoury jus. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to us and our 9 month old baby. An absolute gem in Lanark with a delicious menu we will be returning to sample more and more of. A lot of tables we reserved so may be worth booking.

Went here for tea, coffee and scones - delicious. Service was good but we felt we were being rushed to get out with staff clearing away plates the very minute they were clear!

Sometimes you get a mix of expertise and care in a place that just works perfectly-this is such a venue.Whether it's the chef with his Pave sandwiches(buttered chicken,maple syrup and fancy wee tomotoes a personal favourite)or the top quality coffee on offer-not to mention the freshly made baking that's to die for of course.The attentive service and free carafe of water brought to you without having to ask are the kind of small touches that matter,and the decor is both friendly and homely while being classy and kept spotlessly clean.The only possible issue is this place is becoming so popular you might have to book and reserve a table to avoid missing out.

Have been in on numerous occasions, always great food and welcoming staff. Great place to visit. I am hesitant to post this as i will no longer be assured of a table once truth is out 😁

Helen and I have passed this Cafe quite a few times and so we decided to try it out. We went on a Sunday afternoon when it was quite busy and so had to wait for a table (which was a good sign). We didn't have to wait too long. All we wanted was a sandwich. The service was quick and very friendly. The sandwich was excellent and we soon learnt that we could even BYOB and without corkage charges! We will be back I can assure you!! Next time we will have something more than just a sandwich from the main menu.

If you are in New Lanark definitely pop in here for lunch. Absolutely amazing ! Food was fabulous & staff very helpful. 10/10

I came here with my mum & dad i have being 5 time's Now & the foods amazing the staff be very helpful. Today i had a hot chocolate carrot Cake the girl that works in there i a fantastic Baker so i would really highly recommend it

Fantastic cafe with as described in the title a wee french twist .. soups , sandwiches sweets cakes and coffee to die for at more than reasonable prices .. situated at the foot of the town opposite The Wallace Cave pub this cafe should not be passed by morning or afternoon

exceptional variety of homemade savouries and sweets with great personal service . Highly recommended, and I hear the breakfasts are to die for too.

Absolutely beautiful little cafe with the most delicious food. I had the afternoon tea which was a good mix of sweet and savoury and let me try lots of different cakes. Everything that we tried was amazing. The Carmelitas and the scones in particular were fab! Will definitely be back.

Literally the best afternoon tea I've ever had. Freshly-made, delicious and very good value for money. All sorts of tempting goodies and not a cucumber sandwich in sight. And there was loads - my friend couldn't finish hers. Lovely staff too. Make sure you book.

This is a great cafe, their selection of food and cakes etc is very good also loads of different teas and coffees to pick from well worth a stop in you won’t be disappointed.

This place is a little slice of heaven in Lanark. We have not had one bad experience in here and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Their Soup of the Day and French Onion soup never disappoint and the signature Roast Beef Pave is amazing. The service is excellent and the place is absolutely spotless. Well done and keep up the good work. We have definitely found our favourite venue for lunch. Hoping to go for brekkie tomorrow to finally try the French Toast.

Attended for afternoon tea, best afternoon tea I have had! Good variety of teas & coffees & all cakes are home made & amazing! Will be returning! Small cafe so book to avoid disappointment.

this cafe has recently opened replacing a very poor one. I noticed quickly that it had attracted customers ( the last one didnt) and it offers pleasant service and a warm atmosphere.Ionly had soup and a coffee which were both good, also iced water provided which is a nice touch in warm weather particularly.

Popped in as I walked up street today .. passed a few times and never went in and now wishing I had went in sooner .... delicious coffee and cake really pleasant staff will now be stopping in a lot more often .. very highly recommend

Popped in to this new café on the main road into Lanark and following a warm welcome we settled down in the relaxed atmosphere to enjoy very smooth (and piping hot, always a big thumbs up for me) flat whites with French Toast.

Firstly it's about time the last guy in this building has left - what a waste of time.

Travelled up from Cornwall to visit family. This cafe is wonderful. Food is so tasty and staff are welcoming x

I ordered the signature gammon sandwich and a Vietnamese iced coffee. It was delicious, the sandwich was so full of flavour. Definitely coming back for some more food very soon.
