My mum and I went to Greenhalls farm after hearing wonderful reviews… it did not disappoint! Food was absolutely beautiful and staff were extremely friendly! Shout out to William for being so kind. I will definitely be back for more of those amazing cakes!

A great hidden gem. We hadn’t booked but they managed to accommodate for us by giving us a table outside, which was a lovely area. I would recommend booking though as it was very busy! Only struggle was finding what to choose on the menu as it all looked so lovely. I had the lasagne which was so well made and a great portion. We also loved seeing the goats and alpacas :) we will 100% be back!

We called into Greenhall Country Cafe on our way back from our holiday in Aviemore. I had read up on it previously & was keen to try the Wagu steak. Our lunch experience was wonderful The steak baguettes with chilli cheese were delicious. My husband had a burger meal & he too enjoyed that The grandkids enjoyed their meals from the kids menu. We’ll work a visit, we will call again most definitely when in that direction again. Staff were nice friendly & helpful & a nice little shop there too. One to definitely try.

Great eggs Benedict, not had better anywhere else. Good strong but not bitter coffee and friendly staff. Toilet immaculate which would put some establishments in Glasgow to shame. I also get my Wagu sausage and steak in the farm shop which very tasty. I only wish I lived nearer to Greenhall, we travel 17 miles to get food and their Wagu sausages and steak. The cafe gets busy so I always book a table.

The farm has a monthly steak night, I had been taken there in May, and it was so good I asked if we could book a table for the July event , to celebrate my son's birthday. (unfortunately I forgot to review the May event, sorry!) My table for 5 turned up at 7 for our booked table, we were greeted warmly and the table was ready. Don't expect lavish surroundings, this is the farm's coffee shop you are in, but it is light and clean. I am there for the food, not the soft furnishings! :-) We had preselected our steaks, so only had to order drinks and starters. The wine is ridiculously good value, so we had a bottle of red at £17.50 and the Whispering ANgel at £28. Starters were prawn cocktail (deliciously old school) , the Transylvanian sausage (lovely) and the sharing platter (also lovely). No complaints and clean plates all round. Then the steaks, THE STEAKS!!! We had all chosen the Wagyu ribeye. At £37 it is already great value compared to City Centre pricing (£85 in Gaucho if you are interested) but these are also HUGE! Served with homemade chips, tomato, mushroom and a choice of sauce, these were absolutely perfect, cooked exactly as requested and the best steak I have ever had. We could not finish them all, so some of the party took theirs home, but still found room to share the Chocolate fudge cake and the sticky toffee pudding, both also delicious. The toffee pudding came out with a birthday candle in it, the hosts obviously noted that down when I mentioned in May, which I thought was a lovely touch and showed the level of customer care. All in all, a phenomenal dinner, great food and great staff, at a reasonable price, £270 for generous servings of great food for 5 people. My whole party were blown away. Will definitely be back at another steak night - make sure you book ahead of time!

Always enjoyed my breakfast roll and hot drink at Greenhall in the past but was disappointed today. I had ordered a cappuccino which on arrival turned out to be more like a latte. Not wanting such a milky coffee I mentioned it and was made a second one. Again, I got a latte in a cappuccino cup. I didn't drink my coffee and on leaving was asked by a member of staff of staff what was wrong with it. I said that it wasn't a cappuccino and i didn't like lattes. To which I was told "that's how we make them here". So I paid for a coffee that I didn't drink and will think twice before returning.

Have been coming here many times and on each visit, I look forward to the next. The food is always excellent, the coffee perfect and the staff attentive. It is also dog friendly which makes the cafe that wee bit extra special to so many pet lovers

Not too often you see places where the team all have set jobs but it's good to see. i.e. the person making food isn't touching money or the person touching raw food isn't touching the sandwiches/fillings, it's all very much different stations and is nice and clean. The food is really good and it's well priced for its quality. Only small issue (just for the sake that management can improve on it) is sometimes the waiting period. I've waited a long time for two panini before. Maybe because sit ins were prioritised, not 100% sure. I'd wait again though because it is very good but having worked in a restaurant I know that it's not really justified.

Fabulous authentic food We visited this for a Saturday evening opening. We both enjoyed our food, sharing the kottu and rice platter . Both were delicious, freshly prepared & cooked . The service was genuinely friendly and helpful . If , like us , you enjoy real food prepared when ordered , you can't fail to enjoy the food at Barn Street .

Went in for takeaway and asked to yous the toilet and was rudely told it was for sit in customers only. Which I think any buying customer should be entitled!
