Mibbies aye in South Lanarkshire

Can't recommend Mibbies Aye highly enough. Great friendly service and the best rolls around! Sneaked in a few cakes as well as they all looked so good. Great coffee to wash it all down. Got to give this place a try if your in the Hamilton area!

Great service, friendly and accomodating Fab bacon roll - 3 slices of delicious smoked bacon, I was in heaven...selection of coffee that came with a double shot (we found out as my friend likes an extra one). Beautiful packaging!!!

Got an order delivered via just eat. This place is just amazing the sandwiches are to die for! The way it's wrapped was a cute touch too. Can't wait to try other things on the menu.

Trying this place for the first time, staff pleasant and helpful with the menu. Decided to go with the Brisket Sandwich, with potatoes, coleslaw etc. Nicely presented and what a treat. Lovely fresh baguette, amazing brisket and excellent trimmings. An excellent brunch on the go, will visit again.

We always get coffees on our walks. When taking my grandson & his wee dog big walks around Hamilton. Coffee, staff & prices are all great.Thank you

This place is absolute joke ! Placed an order on just eat waited more than an hour with no update when I called I was told its up toyu if you want to cancel as we have no driver and its been sitting here a while asked t cancel and was then told by someone else it hadn't been made.. so wahts the truth who's lying the employee or tha boss, when I wasn't happy with this I was sworn at extremely professional

Popped in here after taking the wee man swimming at the ‘Palace’. A nice little place, with seating outside if required. I ordered a large Cappuccino, a Fruit Shoot, a New York Deli Panini and a Cheese Panini. Lovely food served relatively quickly, although the sauce on mines seemed to be all near one end. The staff were friendly and apart from a major meltdown from my son (solely due to his tiredness), it was a pleasant stop for us, after the madness of a kid’s pool. For me, a must visit if using the leisure centre - such a small walk for decent quality grub.

My lovely wife has required me to leave a review as apparently I go on about this place a lot. Work nearby and attend regularly for takeaway lunch. Place is brilliant - very high quality ingredients, great flavour combinations, and staff all lovely. Used to be there more regularly pre-pandemic. Turned up once back to the office 2 years later and the owner remembered my usual (whereas I didn’t!). Nice touches like that make Mibbies Aye really stand out.

Good selection of sandwiches, cakes and lovely coffee. Moderately priced. Artisan is used and is very accurate. Like the use of brown paper and string to wrap the sandwich/ baguette.

My apologies to start as I thought I reviewed this place before. Okay where do I start.this place when I first went in was like a hidden gem it was very quite but coffee was hot fresh and really really nice so much I ordered another. I have been in a few times since my first visit it still has its hidden gem feel too it this time I got breakfast and again coffee. It was all fresh and hot.they had a lot of home made cakes and did a wide range of drinks as well. I have been in since and ordered from there lunch menu,this time I felt it was just rammed with school kids my fault the time I went. Every time I have visited this place I have always spoke to the owner and staff behind counter and they have been extremely friendly and polite. I will return here and hopefully will be sooner as I do miss the place. Thank you

This is my weekend treat when I am working. The highest quality food, service and flavours. Food is freashly prepared, I love that they are individually wrappped and tied with string, Amazing flavour combanations. I Recently arranged for party plattets, they were amazing and very well received by my guests, would loved to have passed them off as homemade....but I am too honest. I would highly recommend everything about this place.

We needed something for lunch and decided to try here as they deliver! The sandwiches were delicious - very fresh ingredients and made to order! The biscuits were also excellent. We ordered them on-line and had them delivered to our door- all in less than an hour! Highly recommend this eatery!

The staff in this building are fantastic, and you can tell the food is home made! Somewhere i defo stop by whenever i can!

Popped in for lunch this week, found out it has been open for over 6 years! I wish I’d known this before! Fantastic lunch... defo recommend the tuna with chives and the spicy chicken and spicy pesto wrap👌🏼 great staff that clearly enjoy working here, there passion shone through our conversation with them :) great to see a great range on the menu at reasonable prices and also that all ingredients are home made! We had the great fortune to order 3 of these giant masterpieces today, and they were just that - MASTERPIECES!! Incredible taste, incredible food, and quite obviously made by someone who knows what they are doing - thank you

Visited on lunch break, had the tuna wrap and Cajun sweet potato soup all very tasty and fresh! Nice little spot for lunch and coffee! Def be back :)

Called in this afternoon and had lunch. We ordered a smoked chilli and garlic chicken baguette, tuna and chive baguette with soup and a coffee. Excellent and friendly service and the food was delicious.

I’ve made a point of writing this review as I was so disappointed in the food but most of all the service I couldn’t not.

Stopped in for breakfast - great find, nice food, decent coffee (and I hold a high bar for espresso !), friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Very nice place & staff, food was a bit bland compared to other tapas restaurants I've been to. Gambas pil pil lacked chilli & garlic, just need to spice it up a bit !!! Was good, just no wow ! Factor

This place is really good for a quick bite to eat and pint, never knew it was here until recently - I think it used to be an old office building located next to the Royal Blossom, only issue it has is NO PARKING...

Although struggling to notice this hole in the wall it managed to catch my eye today where I was more than happy to have found it. Not just a typical deli, the fillings are in a league of its own and the service was brilliant

Although I live near Hamilton I wasn’t aware of this place until I read the reviews here, so being a coffee fan I had make a visits to see what all the fuss was about. The shop itself is in a lovely Georgian style building (shared with “Colonel Mustards” next door) inside the shop is small but nicely laid out and very clean with produce nicely displayed so you can exactly what you are getting. The first (of many) plus on my visit was the exceptional service ( it doesn’t really take much just pleasant attentive staff – why can’t more places get this right) the next plus was the excellent produce, a great cup of coffee accompanied by a nice shortcake (type) biscuit and a nicely presented (and very tasty) toasted chicken sandwich wrapped up in grease proof paper and tied up with string (a nice touch) and the price, a very reasonable £5.50. “Mibbies” mainly caters to office workers in the Hamilton west area so I understand the carry out option they favour (and based on my visit it well used) it’s just a pity that there aren’t more tables and a larger sit in option available (we sat at one of the 2 tables outside). This is a coffee shop that Hamilton can be proud of and is more akin to what you would find in the Byres road area in Glasgow.

Fantastic food! Expect to pay a wee bit extra for your sandwich, but you definitely won't be disappointed. Fresh, tasty and a little bit different.

Great selection of fantastic sandwiches and homemade cakes. Staff are very friendly and service is quick, definitely worth a visit.

I go here for a take away most days on my lunch break when I'm at work, the food is delicious and staff are lovely, I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

The hand made sandwiches are fantastic with loads of filling s to choose from all personally wrapped and tied with string, the homemade soup is delicious also having loads of cakes to choose from.

What a fantastic little place! I think I have tried almost everything on the menu and I have yet to be disappointed. Beautiful food, immaculate shop and friendly staff make it an absolute pleasure at lunch times. If you haven't already tried Mibbies Aye - then I thoroughly recommend doing so!

Catered a training day for us, at short notice, for a very reasonable price per head. Delivered beautifully made, tasty and creative sandwiches/wraps/baguettes. Lovely mix of meat and meat free options for our 60 plus guests. Cracking selection of sweet treats too. Everything delivered in smart and practical covered trays. The success of this cafe is the staff, who have absolutely fantastic customer service skills. The sandwiches are excellent with a wonderful range of fillings. Coffee is excellent too. Prices are just right. Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.

The sandwiches in this take away are sublime! I have to say that I have never had a bad meal out of here! Also make sure to try the soups they are always full of flavour! Can't wait for my next meal from here!

What a fantastic wee take away. Delicious menu, full of wonderful choices. Slow roast steak sandwich is a must. Coffee is the best and always service with a smile and chat. Love the fact this wee place is on my door step I chose the masterpeace this time as i had the slow roast before and my goodness what a treat. It's my new sandwhich Deli and the girl who served me was very friendly and had a great Convo with me it's what you need.

Was waiting on this place opening as was always passing when it was getting refurbished, started going in and found a gem of a place getting to know Sammy the owner and also working my way through all the delicious sandwiches made fresh!, I asked the owner give me the best sandwich you can do, he returned with what's called the masterpiece this is a treat guys it's a little expensive for your average day to day lunch time eat, but if you are hungry or you are looking for a tasty treat and a break from the diet as I do at the weekend get in and try it. You won't taste a better sandwich in town or even in Glasgow I won't tell you what's on it and make it a surprise but when you are in and waiting on it it's worth the wait, never mind man v food with 2nd class cuts of meat challenges this is a delight!

This place is by far the best place to get take-away food in Hamilton/South Lanarkshire/ the West of Scotland. Coffee is excellent, the best I've tasted in this country. Breakfast options have obviously been very carefully selected, Ramsay's of Carluke bacon and black pudding and Buchanan's of Burnbank square sausage. The slow roast brisket option is a very memorable choice, it really has to be tried to understand just how good it is, but......lunch time service can be very slow if it is busy. On several occasions I've stuck my head in the window at lunch time to see 5 or 6 folk in the queue, this usually means a wait of 15 minutes, sometimes I don't have that much time to spend standing in a queue. I appreciate that fresh, quality food takes time, it seems that it sometimes it takes longer than it should at Mibbies Aye.

Forget additive stuffed, conveyor belt food, whether your nipping out for your lunch break, dining casually with friends or on a health kick, this is the place to go to!Whether its the friendly helpful staff, the delicious food or the way they wrap your sandwiches up in paper and brown string, there will be something here which will capture your interest and leave you feeling valued and refreshed.All of their food is homemade.. I have no idea how they make things so tasty (I have tried to recreate at home and failed).May I especially recommend their soups- I have visited a great many restaurants all over the world and never have I tasted better soup.Not expensive by any means- but if you want taste and quality, you don't mind paying for it.It's becoming harder and harder to find a place which strives to give constant quality to their customers. Don't miss out!

The worst roll n jam I've ever had!would rather have eaten an old slipper!!!! Don't even mention the tea! It's never tetley anyway!

Definitely the best sandwiches in Lanarkshire,staff are friendly and make good suggestions and alternatives to what is available,all food is freshly prepared and wrapped very tastefully,a little on the expensive side but don't mind paying for quality food that tastes as as good as this.
