Lovely ladies behind the the till enhanced my experience and made my day!

Customer service is very bad. Some workers are very friendly, and some are very rude. They act as if they hate you or something like that. This is absolutely the worst experience I had there today.

Since bought by Coca-Cola, its gone downhill. Less personal, more corporate, more money-pinching - charging separately for.butter with toast! Moved from local Scottish milk to big central Manchester hub milk. Cortado is great, but the flat white is now too large, totally messing up the coffee to milk proportion that defines a flat white

Large branch of Costa in a quiet area so always has room to sit.

Lovely place to relax and enjoy a lovely coffee & food if you want too it can be quite expensive if you go everyday...

I was served by a lady called Karen, I can't thank her enough for her welcoming manner and infectious smile, I am nervous about going out alone and she made my outing pleasurable, Such a professional and friendly person. An absolute credit to your company, please pass on my thanks to her. I will definitely be going back to this shop .

Fairly average Costa in central Corstorphine, Edinburgh. A good amount of seating and a few corners for peace and quiet. Several toilets. Disabled toilet was clean. Staff were pleasant. Closes at 6pm.

Best coffee here. Americano black, with an extra shot. Kind and service minded personnel. Think this is THE ONLY PLACE in Corstorphine and a long the road to Edinburgh center where they actually put Fokus on heating the restaurant up, so people don’t freeze while having a coffee. You don’t need to sit with jacket and a hat here and neither you don’t needed ear proctection from bad acoustics. Overall a nice place and is recommended.

Give Karen a promotion, she Is a ray of sunshine for all of her customer’s mornings, and never fails to put a smile on my face. Coffee and food were delicious, 11/10

The people serving us look like they love their jobs. This gives me good vibes. I will definitely recommend Costa at St John's Rd, Edinburgh. However parking is a bit challenging.

Wander in here for a coffee one day during a stroll along St John’s Road. I stood at the counter, behind another customer who was being served. Once they were finished I was the only person waiting to be served. I stood there for what seemed like an eternity waiting for the staff to notice me but they went about their business behind the counter, two of them, ignoring me there. After about 4/5 minutes I left, didn’t bother saying anything as they had no interest. Really poor service here. Would definitely say this is not only the worst Costa I’ve been too, but most certainly the worst coffee shop I’ve been in.

Staff weren't great today. Don't look at you, ask how they can help. No welcomes, no smiles. Had to ask to have my toastie hot and for a glass and ice for my cold drink rather than being asked. And when it was ready the assistant could have brought it over as she was standing about not doing anything else. Staff need motivating and training. A rather dire experience.

Staff were friendly, coffee good, and I would go back

Great and consistent value and service.

Enjoyed a bacon roll and a cheese and Tomato Toastie. Visited at 7am, so nice and quiet. Large Cappucino was enjoyable. Has to find a table outwit the range of the ceiling air conditioning as they were pumping out quite chilly air. Comfortable seating. Handy for a quick breakfast or snack.

I didn't have any food but had a coffee while I was waiting to meet a friend. They, like Starbucks, are overpriced for what you get, but the latte was warm, and the service was decent enough. The shop was quiet, which is why the rating is lower

Though I’d give Costa another chance.Toastie was Luke warm toast was like rubber. The coffee was Luke warm again. I live half a mile from the shop! Back to Starbucks Anne Alba The only plus was the driver very polite

Standard Costa. Comfortable quiet quick

Great coffee, sandwiches & sweets, wonderful staff, cozy decor! The only downside is that sometimes when it gets busy it's hard to find a seat, and it can get quite loud with all the customers in there so it may not always be a quiet place to study/write for those so inclined.

Whereas I usually enjoy my Costa experience I find I don't like the music being played. I feel the music is inappropriate for the clientele base and is too loud. In this particular branch, St. John's Road, the standards of hygiene are very low - the tables are very often dirty, and where there has been an attempt to clean them it has been with a soiled cloth as there are smear marks over most of the tables. This is not restricted to very busy periods, it is especially noticeable when I normally visit which is around opening time.

I ordered this morning with Uber eats and they charged me the bacon roll I asked and a caramel coffee iced drink and instead of the roll I got a tostie that I’m not gonna eat as it’s not what I wanted. I tried to phone Costa unfortunately it’s a generic customer line that’s not available and the Uber eats delevery isn’t answering the phone either. Thanks for this awful breakfast you deliver to me this morning

Nice and quiet early on, on a Saturday (before 10am) coffee was ok, croissant was good.

The Christmas gift set of 2 items for 9£, didn't have anything alluring to buy for. Instead took a cappuccino drink.

Being on a business trip in Edinburgh away from home and having a day off work I recognised a Costa a coffee shop which in theory is the same products all over the UK with staff being of a certain calibre so imagine my horror when I walk into this shop to find no customers and 6 staff giggling and running around back and forwards from the toilets. This carried on until I made a an over exerted effort to let the staff know I was watching them and then they just went behind the counter and continued to giggle about past customers in plain ear shot of myself. Then when 3 customers came in it was like flicking a switch on one went on cooking toasties, one went on drink prep and the other wiping a counter however all still giggling at key words . From a customers point of view when busy this is an okay but as soon as it goes quiet and the customer watches watches the bored staff this is when things can become a awkward. As a member of “Visit Scotland” this outlet is not one I would recommend for visitors but just one for residents of Scotland who would not be offended/put off by the staff at this outlet. Pictures attached show the empty outlet on a Saturday morning where as every other outlet in the city and country is packed.

Very friendly and helpful staff that help create a relaxing environment. Fantastic coffee and good, stable wifi.

The savoury vegan options are the most disappointing and tasteless products ever. Waist of money. And not even the coffee is good. I don't understand the popularity of this brand, absolutely nothing good to say. It's always dirty everywhere, tables and bathrooms! Not blaming the staff if anything they deserve a pay raise.

The place is so dirty!! Floor is filthy with dirt, old crumbs and stains, tables all covered in old coffee stains and old crumbs , floor tacky to walk on and shoes stick . On a plus side coffee is excellent !!

I always like a costa coffee when I'm out and about. Unfortunately in this Costa there was a queue and because there was a delay in getting served I had to leave as my bus was due. Will definitely be back though

Service came with a smile from all the ladies who served us. Producing a good cup of coffee takes time and if your in a queue it can take a long time but when it arrives its good. Nice large cafe with plenty of space so chilling out in this Costa coffe house was a pleasure. Been there a few times and its always busy which tells you how much its loved.

We queued for ages, it seemed as though the team was too busy doing orders for delivery. The team also got my order wrong, missing one of the items. Other than that, it is your standard Costa, you know what you are getting.

Extremely worse service, if you ever visit this branch, bring your sugar with you as the staff are very mean. I asked for white sugar twice and in every time they gave me just two.

Shocking service. Staff as slow as a week in jail! Waited for 5 minutes while she messed around behind the counter before she even noticed there were customers waiting. The place was dead... Wonder how the two girls would cope if it was busy! Not good enough Costa!

Made nice cold cappuccino however was concerned with the cleanliness. While waiting for the cold milk to froth the barista turned her attention to counting the change in till. Then after that was done went on to finish making my drink without first washing her hands. Regardless of covid that should not be acceptable let alone during current pandemic.

A great Costa in a very busy high street. Perfect location to take one's coffee pause, in a spacious locale serving all your favourite Costa treats and coffees.

EDIT: for the second time my coffee has arrived half full. And please do not try to blame your stores incompetence on the driver. The bag was completely dry. Please retrain your staff as you obviously have some major issues if the staff believe it is in any way appropriate to short change customers. I will now stop ordering from here. Staff are very friendly if you get to know them. I think sometimes the service is a little poor when ordering via ubereats. The system auto accepts it seems. This has caused ubereats drivers to have to cancel delivery as they were either too busy or actually weren't even open. This seems quite unfair to the drivers as they are suffering in the pandemic too. Easy solution to this would be to stop what seems to be auto accepting orders. I also had a flat white come with hardly any milk, such that it was undrinkable because it was too strong and couldn't get a refund because ubereats was malfunctioning and wouldn't upload the picture showing it. For the most part orders have been good but I'm being put off from ordering from here in the future if the service continues to be this bad for whatever reason.

I only go to this cafe if I can't get into one of the local independent cafes. There are always tables that need cleared and cleaned and there's always food on the floors. I think the local independents are better value for money.

Good place to meet up sometime with friends. The coffee & cakes are very good. The staff are nice & halp full too.

La cafetería estaba fría por dentro, no siento el frío en particular, pero no podía sentarme sin la chaqueta. Los productos vendidos eran, como de costumbre, muy caros. Sin embargo, el personal era agradable.

First Post-Lockdown visit. Calm and friendly atmosphere. One down was door to toilet very heavy and needed to touch handle to get out. Paper towel would be handy after drying hands.

Cozy, relaxing and excellent quality. You really couldn't ask for more in a café! As an Italian, I can say that the coffee was great and that I'd definitely be back here.

I absolutely love going into this store as I always have a very good experience! I enjoy speaking to all the staff especially Shaun, I’m always pleased to see him when I go in, he always asks how my little boy is and almost always, unless I say otherwise, brings my tray over for me. I believe he is an absolute credit to the company, and whenever I see someone else talking or interacting with him, they are either laughing, smiling, or crying.... with laughter!! He’s amazing with all the kids that come into the store, they always seem happy with him! I look forward to you guys opening up again and cannot wait to see you all, especially Shaun lol!! Toilet's absolutely vile, toilet seat and flooring look like they hadn't been properly cleaned for weeks. Coffee shop floor not much better.

Oddly I'm not a Costa fan but this feels more like a village Cafe.

Costorphine branch was a bit messy with a lot of tables needed cleaning. But it was just before Xmas but the staff were really good and helpful as I was on crutches and couldnt carry anything

This has to win the award for the slowest Costa in the world! You would not believe how long it took to make a latte.

I was initially served by a lovely young girl but thereafter had the misfortune of being served the second time by Crystal who was very unpleasant when I asked for a glass of water, she was also unpleasant to her co worker in front of me. My latte wasn’t very hot!

Slow service, very poor toilets (urinal choked). Need to be refurbished

Es bueno ver que muchos lugareños usan esto como su lugar de reunión, aunque decepcionante un negocio local no puede igualar el servicio, la calidad y el precio de su vecino global. En general, satisfizo nuestras necesidades.

I was just in on my second visit of the day for a carry out Smoothie. Was served by Magdalena she likes to be called Mags I think? Sparkling personality and friendly Professional service. This is my favourite Costa. So many great Staff and great atmosphere. Mags is a delight.
