Coffee nice. Staff friendly but not chatty to non regulars. Toilets disgusting. Dirty with toilet brush sitting in a pool of brown water. This was at 8.30 in the morning.

Coffee was cold Drinks are served in disposable cups so the staff don't have to clean up after you.

10/10 customer service and great hot chocolate

Worst Costa Manager (Stephen/Steven) I ever experienced… very very rude and attitude, Not suitable for customer service job, Costa will lose loyal customers just because of this kind of morons.

Blocked toilets and said you have to buy to use

I ordered a cup of peach tea. When I saw a picture of a teacup menu with tea, peaches and a few pieces of lemon, what I got was just a cup of tea without toppings. Pictures are different from reality! Hope this review will help you improve in the future! Thank you

I have been coming to this Costa since it opened. I previously regularly used the Blockbuster and Morrisons which were here previously. This Costa is definitely a great shop to have in this unit. The staff are super friendly and definitely my favourite Costa I have been to. The only thing I would like to ask management to consider improving is more sandwiches, hot food options? I quite often get food with my coffee at other costas but at this gorgie branch I find myself just going for the coffee as there is a small selection of food. My son also enjoys the children's options available at other costa coffee. I continue to look forward to being a regular at this Costa coffee.

Staff very nice and helpful, no problem at all with the level of service, had toasties and a couple of drinks Handy to have somewhere that's not too crowded where you can easily get a seat

No covers on the lattes we ordered bag was soaked ripped and dropped all over the floor ridiculous from a coffee shop

No cream on hot chocolate, 2 lattes no marking on lids saying which ones which! Very poor service!

I was not allowed to order because I had a puppy in a sling across my body. Ridiculous rules. Antisocial and sad.

Excellent service with friendly staff

Food, drinks and service are fine. Been popping in for over a year to this Costa and not once have they had wi-fi. A huge conglomerate company and no WiFi?? What?? Every time I have asked, no member of staff knows why there isn't any or I'm fobbed off with 'its coming soon'. Ridiculous.

After waiting for more than an hour no food arrived despite the message telling me it was here. Appalling service . Don’t offer a service you can’t deliver. Refund please !!!!!

I would not order from this branch again. I ordered several packs of chocolate biscuits in my order and all of them were over a month out of date. Expired on the 24 March, when it's now 16th May. Very poor.

Took over an hour to get a coffee

No inner drink covers so drinks spilled . No idea which drink is which as no writing on lid . Drinks thrown on door step .

Nice, polite staff. Coffee was okay. We stayed in, but were served coffee in a take away cup, as everyone else there. It was a winter day, quite cold and unfortunately so was the interior of the cafe.

Toastie was getting cold by the time it arrived even though it was in the pocket that says it stays warm!? Which makes it brick hard around the edges, so most of it ended up in the bin!! Very usual for Costa as well as it’s normally very good

I ordered one veggie sausage roll and one bacon roll. One veggie sausage came but the other was also sausage - not bacon

I was in a bit of a shock that they were rolling their eyes as I came in 15 minutes before close. Looked up reviews to confirm that it wasn't a one-off happening. Will avoid next time.

Standard drinks, good facilities, but ridiculously unacceptable staff manners. This is not the first time happening with different staff members at this outlet.

Got a call to say they didn’t have a few things in stock so I asked them to cancel the order. They never did and took money for something they never delivered!!!

Only three items in the order turned up so team treats were ruined this afternoon! Having to place second order (elsewhere) to fix that, which is annoying given we pay a deliver fee every time and you kind of expect a larger chain to get it right!

Hot chocolate was basically empty and was given 3 marshmallows in a separate back to put in it?

Ordered coffees and food through just eat and coffees never were handed to the driver. Tried to contact the shop and it says the phone you're dialing is incorrect. RIDICULOUS! is not the first time they miss items in the order. A very badly managed shop!

I used to enjoy visiting this coffee shop, but the last time I visited I found the staff to be unpleasant, particularly the very rude manager. There are many better options where the managers don't insult you.

When I went to this Costa coffee on Saturday 5h Feb and I had a very unpleasant experience. The lady from the till named Jess as it was printed on the receipt she gave was not nice to me and my friend. When ordering, I wanted to have a chai latte tea as I do love them very much, it was a bit noisy there and I was not able to hear properly when she told me that the chai was out of stock, Jess didn’t make any effort at all to try to speak more clear to me, however she did speak louder and very impolitely. I found it very rude and with a lack of courtesy. Very disappointed to be treated like that and surprised that Costa has staff with such a poor of customer services.I would like to add that she didn’t have her badge with her name on it. When we got served, there were not clean tables in the whole restaurant and we had to take the dirty cups and move them ourselves. There were 3 staff there and there was not queue of people waiting to be served so they were not busy under my point of view. The staff was clearly lazy and didn’t care much about if there were not clean tables available for customers. Whoever is the manager there, should look after more the store and teach manners to the staff. This is a bad reputation for a very well known as Costa is.

They really need to fire their cheeky manager. Not only she ignored me today for good 10 minutes whilst I stood in the cold, she was cheeky enough to say "I'm busy" when Ive asked to be served. After I said Ill complain to her manager next day she said "Doubt it as I'm the manager." After Ive told her Ive made the complaint online, she and another girl inside laughed sarcastically. Well, I'll be pursuing this until she faces the consequences as her behaviour was beyond rude. I realise she probably is just miserable by nature but she will face the consequences.

i have used the shop since it opened,,it is a shop with different seating arrangements so it gives you a choice of where you wish to sit and enjoy your coffee. i enjoy the coffee , it works for me.... i do not have a problem with the staff, they are well trained and work well together to give you that coffee. its not the easiest job to do with the different varieties of coffees to make but they get there

Shocking and incompetent, multiple orders incorrect now. Always items missing but this time it was 5. Last time will be using this service and will be using Greggs across the road in future.

Any time is always a great time to grab a cup of coffee at Costa.

I ordered a large cappuccino and it came with the cup less than half full. So the half that’s in the cup is extremely strong and undrinkable, because there’s barely any milk in it!

Rude staff with "an attitute". While overtly friendly with some customers who seem to be regulars. 2 stars as it was ok-ish in some visits.

Multiple times there has been errors with my orders, leaking cups and missing drinks. So much so tried to change to another Costa near by but they do not deliver through just eat.

Order from here most days best coffee like my cappuccino dry they always do perfect thanks guys xx

I have not received my order it must have been delivered to the wrong address. Contacted the restaurant they said I had to contact just eat. I need a refund.

Slow service not great quality coffe short of products like whipped cream or cakes. At least it is big and spacious but cold.

Understaffed but isnt everywhere

Left door no one even knocked on door waste money coffee cold get coffee from here most day but last couple weeks had half cups or said delivery wasn't delivered then today left door very disappointed specialy regularly customer no like cheap either

Lovely Costa coffee branch, unfortunately they were only taking cash when I went in and I didn’t have any money on me at that time but staff were kind enough to let me use the toilet which was nice and clean and had a yale lock on which was a bit weird. Staff were really friendly and appeared to genuinely feel bad they could not serve me due to the cash issue.

We placed an order with 7 items. Only 3 arrived

In the last two months, one of the customer services has been very poor. She does not care about the customer. She does not look after people who have other nationalities. One day I asked her to clean the coffee table and she raised her voice and said bad things. Today, her friend noticed this when she asked her for a glass of water, she refused to put ice and she was bad with me and she was rude also..I Love Costa but she makes this cafe very unwelcome. Acting like her attitude makes me hate Cafe Costa. So please, you have to choose some who look after your customers.

Spent £27 on cold hard food am sure if I through my sausage rolls at the wall the would of bounced back and to top that my flat white was Luke warm. Won’t order again from here.

My buzzeer wasnt working asked the guy to press again he left the stuff at the bottom of the stairb and left ive got a broken ankle cant even get it

Very poor customer service. The staff is quite rude. They had a few dirty cups and milk frother and milk all over the worktop what makes the place look dirty and untidy.

Missing item, 15 mins to sort problem which results in own items being cold. This has happened 5weeks in a row. No option to have delivered again, only a refund that will take 7days. This is no help to the person with missing items at the time at all. Understand that this is the company we receive items for, they have been notified of complaint also.

The specific branch it's so different than the other ones. The manager there is so arrogant and rude it's like she really doesn't want to be there and even trying to show bossy behaviour to costumers.

I visited with my son after being at Gorgie Farm. It was pretty hot outside and it was so nice to get into Costa which was lovely and cool. It was my first time in this Costa and i actually really liked it. It was extremely spacious and clean. I decided to try the mango and passionfruit cooler. Wow! So delicious and extremely refreshing on a hot day. I thought it perhaps slightly expensive at £3.50 and by the time i had added a traybake the till showed £5.75. However next thing the total went to £4 as it was classed as "coffee and cake". This is my new summer drink!

Very poor customers service. Manager didn't know her coffees and refused to fix her mistake when pointed out, acting like her position makes her right all the time even when she's wrong. Love Costa but she makes this one very unwelcoming

Staff are incredibly rude. Seems like it's a hassle for them to serve customers. The manageress comes across as angry and is clearly in wrong profession as s horrible to customers. Not sure if they noticed but I am hearing impaired and find it difficult to understand verbal communication through masks. I asked the staff to clarify their ordering processes for covid and this was handled badly by the staff who were clearly frustrated and annoyed at me. Very disappointing. Avoid

Clean friendly warm pleasant atmosphere

I joined the line in their one way system to order our food and after 5 minutes of waiting in the line a woman asked if I could go and find a table, scan the QR code and come back after doing their track and trace. I asked if I would have to rejoin the line in which she replied yes and by this point there were 5 people behind me with the line reaching out the door. I asked if I would be able to do this at the table (where there are QR codes anyway) and she gave me a short and snappy response. There is a picture of the track and trace with the QR code in the corner next to the cakes in the line. Therefore, I am unsure why customers were being asked to go and find a table before ordering after waiting minutes in the line? When ordering our food and drinks, I asked for a caramel shot in one of our coffees which I would assume I was charged for but there was no caramel in either of our coffees. The food itself was nice though, but the service and their ‘system’ for track and trace was quite muddled.

Drinks were absolutely hot and just what I needed I would definitely order again only problem is the delivery time got changed twice apart from that great serves thumbs up 👍

Definitely the staff needs to be more friendly and talkative with the costumers especially if the customer is not an English native speaker i mean at least try understand what the customer wants. Keep in mind that this was not the first time that i had this kind of treatment there
