Overpriced, lowest quality, cold food, badly cooked, 40 quid for possibly the worst breakfast in edinburgh including an undisclosed service charge which I did not authorise. Not opposed to tipping, just not being given the choice. Charged for 2 pots of tea, 2nd one had no tea bags in it, just topped up our first one, never be back

Had a lovely breakfast with my partner. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend coming here again for breakfast.

Both had breakfast here, delicious food, lovely traditional haggis, potato scone and smoked salmon. Coffee was superb, even offering oat and soya milk alternatives. I had the oat went really well with their coffee bean. Service was great. We'll be back!

This was a cute little bistro off the Royal mile. The food was delicious. We ordered the pasta bolognese and the panini. The coffee Americano was one of the best in Edingburgh and our son enjoyed the chicken nuggets.

Precioso pequeño restaurante en la Royal Mile, entró a desayunar y no sabía qué esperar. Tuvimos entre los dos, la tostada francesa con tocino, huevo y miel. También tuvimos el brindis con tocino, huevos escalfados y aguacate aplastado. Todo muy bueno, los huevos eran preciosos. Iremos a desayunar la próxima vez en Edimburgo.

Really amazing coffee and the food is very good. I had a salmon eggs benedict and it was really good quality. The atmosphere could use some work, but you can have a nice time peoplewatching from the inside.

Staff very kindly made a plain ham panini for my daughter as she doesn't like pesto. Angus burger was yummy. Ordered a flat white which was more like a latte. Cleared our plates before we were finished.

A lovely cafe that is larger than it looks from the outside, better than some smaller cramped places around and has a warmer feel than the average pub in the area. Served a nice traditional breakfast + Hummus Panini for less than the average price point in the area and was both of great quality! A sizable pot of tea and large coffee which again is refreshing from the norm. Another gem of the area and a must visit stop of point for Breakfast or Brunch 😁

It was by chance that we happened to come across this bistro. Extremely pleased with the service and food provided. The bistro's decor was lovely, as well. I wouldn't hesitate to come back another day.

Popped in here for a breakfast, what a great family run place. We had Salmon & Dill Omelette, cooked & tasted beautiful. Best Omelette I've had in a cafe ever. Good amount of food, attentative staff. Lovely find. Can't wait to go back again tomorrow to try something else. I would also recommend the Dirty Chai Tea Latte.

We went for breakfast the first day and we liked it so much that we went again. It is a bar with several tables inside and several outside. It has a lot of breakfast options and the truth is that it is great value for money. We had the typical breakfast, with haggis, eggs, sausages... and some pancakes with chocolate and fruits. The truth is that everything was super good and the attention was great. For drinks we had a coffee and a hot chocolate which was also very good.

We came here for a quick bite as we were sight seeing Edinburgh, the warm atmosphere brought us in and we were lucky we did. The staff were very lovely and talkative with great convo, especially Asya and Chef Sezgin. They helped us with great recommendations on where to visit and what to eat. We ordered some burgers and paninis, they came about 15 minutes later and were quite delicious. Safe to say our bellies were full!!! Coffee was fantastic and music was great too! We’ll definitely be popping in again if we have the chance! 😊

TOURIST TRAP!!! Would not recommend!! The service was terrible, we were left at a table without a menu for 10 mins and then got told to sit down when we got up to ask. The food took over 30 mins to arrive and quite frankly it was rubbish. The eggs royale was £14 and not worth a cent of it, the salmon was tinned and salty. Our total bill was £41 for two lattes and two breakfasts. For that price I would expect excellent food and service. Would have been better off at Wetherspoons. Got scammed as it didn’t add up to that price. I would not recommend at all.

The food is not bad but the price is excessive just for being on the Royale Mile. Additionally, they charge you extra for serving you at the table, and that must be taken into account.

£11.20 for a can of pop and a milkshake (colour of Nesquick without even that level of taste for £7), yes it’s the Royal Mile so expect to pay a bit of a premium but this was not good. Better off at at many other places

Very good dirty chai latte and the soup was perfect for the cold rainy day! Nice cozy atmosphere inside with a view of the street.
