Don't waste your time or your money. Looks good from the outside but is an absolute dive in need of a good cleaning. Staff are totally disinterested and dismissive. Having seen the very unappealing meals being served around us we got up and left.

Great place for a cheap meal. I had the Caledonian burger which was pretty good. Around £12 including a soft drink.

Good place for breakfast, convenient for the railway station. Charging points for phones did not work.

Great location, and friendly staff. Superb when passing through Edinburgh by train, and 5 mins walk from The Royal Mile. Spoiled only by imbeciles smoking in the beer garden. Staff keep on top of it, but happens. My favourite bit however is the swinging lamp in the downstairs corridor to the mens conveniences. I've hit my head off it every single time I've traversed said location, and it still makes me chuckle 🤣

We came here for breakfast and lunch. Gr at value for money.

We tried their fish and chips and it was good. Above all, I liked the atmosphere and that it was so well located.

Always busy. Ideal for the station though.

One of my least favourite spoons, makes money because of the train station... prices are hiked a bit as well compared to other wetherspoons. Worst one for food too. Shamr

Not much atmosphere at all poorly designed but it is very handy if you just need a beer and don't have time to get out the station and go somewhere better I think it felt a bit like one of those bars you find in airports, no atmosphere just functional Service want great when I went either a bit matter of fact tbh

Disgusting food was cold and had to be sent back when they came back with second dish it was just warm enough to eat won’t be back

Rough, not very clean and very loud. Compared to other Wetherspoons I've been to. The drinks were very odd tasting. Maybe the syrups for the soft drinks was ending. Also the limes used were dried out and decimated. Did manage to find seats on an unclean table. Door man very friendly 5/4/24.

It is located in front of the Waverly train station in a very convenient location with a view. There is a garden and places for smokers (if it doesn't rain) And the price of coffee is much lower than the usual. I don't know about the food, but there are always many people eating or waiting to get food.

What a great chill spot with a great night view of the city.

Often pop in here, while waiting for our train, as its so handy and much better than the option in tge actual station. It's a typical 'spoons ', so you know what to expect. Great selection of beers, lagers, wines, gins, all at reasonable prices, considering you are in the centre of Edinburgh. So busy, with a great mix of people, giving it a great atmosphere. Will definitely return

Always love witherspoon, good value etc, good food which it was. Really too busy, was Easter Mon but not enough staff to clear tables. Dirty tables are off puting. Cleared our own table, we were cold and wet from outside so were not going elsewhere.

Food was disgusting all microwaved! Manager was nasty to a staff member forcing her to serve something that wasn’t right to another customer

The manager with the long hair and scouse accent is the worst. Making girls cry because he's incompetent and can't deliver the correct drinks to the right table, then accusing them of theft. Absolute scumbag. Should be fired. Will never be back

Visited here on a Friday afternoon to take respite on a cold rainy Edinburgh afternoon. The Guinnes is good, the heating's on, and the beer's cheap. I found somewhere to hang my jacket over the radiator, ordered my pint to my table, and didn't have to move. The toilets are down in the centre of the Earth but what else would you expect from Wetherspoons?

Good fish and chips. Quickly served reccomend using app for ordering and payment. Can get busy

Canny big Spoons. Huge queue when we walked in but it went down fast enough. Was introduced to Blue Moon beer with a slice of orange here - game changer.

I loved this place because you could go and order, and then they would bring the food to you. There was quite a variety and it was very large. The prices were good.

Was busy but still served quickly. Cosy amosphere. Such a choice of beers at great prices.

I ordered chips, ham and egg it was very disappointing about 10 chips, a over cooked egg, and what I describe as a slice of pkt ham. Very thin. My partner had chips and burger which was not very appetising. A small burger no salad. Will not be eating there again

Good enough deals on food and drink good when out shopping.

Wetherspoons stop. It's a chain, you can't go wrong with it. Prices are usually quite good. You can order, pay and be served to your table via the app. We were there for breakfast. Was absolutely flawless and decent portions. You can definitely do it, but it's not a classic pub.

This pub is situated on the bridge, a very unique location. The staff were friendly & informative & we loved the ambience. Would definitely recommend visiting & we will be back next time we are in Edinburgh.

Irish style bar, with a wide variety of beers, good food and at a good price. The space is very large so there are almost always tables available

Another JD Wetherspoon pub ticked off the list, located next to Edinburgh Waverley Train Station. I had the breakfast wrap which was spot on with no complaints at all. Nice, friendly atmosphere with very efficient staff. Very convenient location if you are entering or leaving Edinburgh by train.

Just nipped in for a quick pint Belhaven 80 shillings. Lovely pint.

Unfortunately, I was too hungry and forgot to take some photos, but! The place is great! Highly recommend fish and chips, fried chicken bites and steak and kidney pie! One of our friends even said that the pie was the best he ever had!

Usual wetherspoons, conveniently located by the train station, a little small and rather overcrowded at times but still a decent spoons.

The amount of times I have no recollection of how I got home, Yet always finding my way back to this pub tells me it's a good pub 🍻

A station brasserie, like, there are people and a very lively atmosphere... The service is done via QR Code and it works quite well! Fish and Chips is the pride of the place... Cheers!

Standard typical Wetherspoons. I do love Wetherspoons as they sell AU vodka however as this one is at the station it is more expensive. There are 3 others within 5-10 minutes walking distance which will be cheaper so recommend you try those ones.

Eey noice meal, top dawg quality. Unfortunately the chocolate brownie sauce doesn't make an adequate art canvas, trying to draw shapes in the sause was very difficult and did not give me the result i hoped for😮‍💨😮‍💨

Not often does a Spoons deserve a 5* rating but the Mixed Grill & mini fish & chips with peas & curry sauce, served at 8.30pm on a Wednesday night really hit the spot - and with the added bonus of a pleasantly quiet & largely stress-free atmosphere to boot.

Perfectly located near the rail station. They serve a gorgeous haggis panini. It's not the cheapest Wetherspoons I've been in drinks-wise, but the service was excellent given how busy it was. Good atmosphere. Screens show train times so you'll know if you can squeeze in another pint.

Booked food on app ,accidentally ordered 2 of everything oopsie ,spoke to young lady team leader who managed to correct and refund 👏 no quibbles, food was hit and tasty too ,good atmosphere day after the rugby

Standard Wetherspoons fare. It was crowded when I was there prior to catching the 6:35 pm to Aberdeen. Fortunately, my order arrived quickly. My naan bread was over done.

Didn't eat - used it as a refrehment and break establishment. Very comfortable being in the as a lone female

Only thing letting my order down was the macaroni cheese looked like it came out a box apart from that was great experience

Did I find the most amazing Wetherspoon’s? Yes I did. Food 10/10, Looks and design 10/10, Service 10/10. However the black and gold theme was so unexpected and the open kitchen even more. Fantastic place with great food and super clean!

Weatherspoon is a very affordable chain with a lot of choice on the menu. We were here for Scottish breakfast, which was absolutely fine and good. The atmosphere in the Weaverly branch is nice. There are locals, people from or on the way to work, tourists and even business people. Be sure to put breadcrumbs in the toilet so you can find your way back. Maybe pack a small snack for the march. Otherwise everything was great and a good start to the day.

Good to go to eat at any time. Highly recommended breakfast with refills

We waited for around 20 minutes and they never took our order... I don't get if they were being racists as we are mexican tourists or ir was something else

A good Wetherspoons, very convenient for Waverley Station

Had breakfast here before getting train back to London. As ever with wetherspoons, good quality food and drink. Had cooked breakfasts, breakfast baps and toast with marmalade. First experience of the bottomless coffee/tea. Not sure how long this has been provided but a welcome addition to the menu (considering it's cheaper than the high street brand coffee shops). Clean outlet, very busy (best to download and order on the app). Never understood the sticky carpets and full of drunks reputation these places get. I've never experienced it and use wetherspoons all over the country. A great brand that serves well priced food and drinks with good service standards too.

Nice little pub on Edinburgh station

Seriously, is this a hamburger? The place is horrible from the attention, no one welcomes you to present you the menu or tell you that you must go to the cashier to place your order and well even the hamburger just a piece of meat, a little lettuce, I asked for extra mushroom and that is the result. Pay to not return 👎🏻

Normalito. Comida regular y precios medios. Nos gustó el Fish & Chips. Se anima bastante los fines de semana y es bastante fácil encontrar comida después de las 20:30/21:00. Bastante céntrico.

Often call in here when I’m waiting for a train and have never had a bad experience. It’s a great little pub with a nice atmosphere. And of course the prices ! What’s not to like.

If you are British I wouldn't recommend it. One of the managers, the pompous one in the white shirt, refused to give a drink that my friend had ordered me via the app.... We had had two shots of 6 for 7 of us delivered to the table and ordered £110 of food and drinks through the app and the bar. He said because he couldn't confirm someone had ordered it for me I couldn't have it, I pointed out it would have bee. Ordered by my friends via FB he said no you can't have it.. So she paid and he wasn't willing to give her a refund... When I did prove it was from her via message he still tried to refuse it. His attitude is terrible and later on he nearly got into a fight with two further customers. A member of staff even admitted he didn't understand why he refused me. You work at wetherspoons not the king of the world love..... He wasn't like this to others....my friend stopped him from getting in a fight and he didn't bother to thank him If you read this get over yourself, you aren't better than anyone else and no one is beneath you...

Excellent Weatherspoons, just off Edinburgh Waverley train station. Great customer service and delicious food. Great value too. Kept very clean.
