Lovely place for a get together staff lovely food good.

Dropped in for a swift one, service was really good so we came back on the Saturday, great atmosphere and again good service

The "toasty" was a fried bread sandwich, and while it did taste really good, it was very heavy and greasy. Staff were polite and helpful.

Felt a lot better after a funeral to meet everyone over cups of tea and sausage rolls. The weather was sunny and views were spectacular. A great send off helped by discrete but attentive staff

I had a great time with my friends here last night enjoying a meal and drinks, I wasn't too busy and we stayed and played some games at the table afterwards. The servers were very friendly and weren't trying to chuck us out even though we stayed for about 3-4 hours 😃 And a shout to Alex who started using our names when we ordered drinks

I LOVE this coffee shop!! All the staff are so lovely, however my absolute favourite batista in the WORLD is Danni!! She's so awesome and ALWAYS puts a smile on my face and finds a way to turn a really rubbish day into a beautiful one. Give Danni employee of the month, every month! ❤️🙏

A busy city centre coffee destination during a period of Christmas activity. It was busy and many tables were not available because they had not been cleared. The staff were also busy with one server making drinks and serving leading to a longer than normal wait. The second server seemed consumed with the dishwasher, trying to feed the demand for cups. An extra pair of hands would solve this issue and someone clearing tables regularly would help in getting customers to move on and give up tables for others. A lot of people looked like they had been there a long time and not purchased much... I have used this venue before and also felt that table clearing was poor and that leads to a general feeling that the cleanliness is not what it should be. It is very good coffee and with an uplift in some welcoming greetings that would make up for an untidy coffee shop.

Good food with good company, service was good we were heading for a show so we were early.

A nice place for an evening meal. There was four in our party and we were seated promptly and served drinks quickly. A short review of a wonderfully limited but connected menu and we all picked the same dish with variations. The haggis bons bons were the bomb! As was the tempura prawn.

Pret is always the best value place for filter coffee and croissants. But shwarma is delicious

Perfect location and nice service

Lovely place, have halal haggis. Highly recommend the scottish breakfast, pancakes and bagels. The cafe also have great view of edinburgh castle and grassmarket.

I have loved my experience here! The bar staff have been so friendly with Amy and Seb serving me and the atmosphere has been so welcoming with live music on Tuesday to Saturday which was perfect! I will definitely be coming back:)
