Decent restaurant with a reasonably priced menu.

Most of my pals call this place "the gay bar"

Muy mal servicio. Frente al miembro del personal de la casa fue grosero y abrupto porque le preguntamos si podíamos entrar con niños. Nos dijeron solo si pedimos "comida completa", que estaba bien. Procedí a informarnos que solo podíamos sentarnos en cierta parte del bar, no podíamos movernos y tuvimos que salir tan pronto como pedimos comida. Dicha parte del bar estaba subiendo 3 escaleras que nos dejaron para navegar con un doble buggy. Pedí un plato para compartir, no se dan platos laterales y solo un juego de cubiertos. La comida estaba fría a la llegada y el personal continuó comprobando si habíamos terminado de comer como tendríamos que salir. Muy mal servicio y se podía decir que no éramos bienvenidos en absoluto.

It's exactly what you should expect from a pub away from a big town centre. Very friendly staff, very fast service, nice food, good portions, right volume level music, nothing pretentious, and very relaxed. I would definitely come back, next time back to Aberfeldy. Thanks Scott and Hamish.

I had a great time with my friends here last night enjoying a meal and drinks, I wasn't too busy and we stayed and played some games at the table afterwards. The servers were very friendly and weren't trying to chuck us out even though we stayed for about 3-4 hours 😃 And a shout to Alex who started using our names when we ordered drinks

A nice place for an evening meal. There was four in our party and we were seated promptly and served drinks quickly. A short review of a wonderfully limited but connected menu and we all picked the same dish with variations. The haggis bons bons were the bomb! As was the tempura prawn.

I’m often in this Pret and staff are so friendly & helpful. Store is well designed. Member of staff today restored my faith in human nature as I was buying cup of tea for a homeless person sitting outside, he gave me it free of charge 😍. We all need to help each other and I was so touched by this gesture (please don’t give him hard time) so was the lady who got the tea. Thank you so so much 🙏

We were on holiday in Edinburgh & visited here on a cold day! Lovely big Costa. Plenty of tables on 2 levels. Very friendly service both at the till and with the other staff cleaning tables etc. The top section where we were sitting was being shut down to be cleaned but the staff member doing that offered to carry our tray to another table for us, had a chat & passed the time of day with us, we had a laugh and a little chat, very friendly. Would highly recommend this branch, made to feel very welcome.

Me he alojado en el Tongodale varias veces en 2024 incluyendo el 20 de diciembre para asistir a una fiesta de Navidad. Mi experiencia ha sido bastante buena. Personal amable, buena comida, y una excelente elección de cervezas y whisky locales. Me pareció que £ 90 para alojamiento y desayuno era bastante buena relación calidad-precio.

Estoy con un amigo tomando el té, solo somos dos. El servicio es tan malo. Primero no nos dejaron usar el baño y tenían que asegurarse de que estamos comiendo (se supone que por cierto, pero decidí simplemente tomar el té porque estaban siendo groseros). El restaurante está bastante vacío. Un montón de asientos vacíos y sin embargo no nos dejan elegir una mesa, nos ponen en una mesa muy pequeña (bastante justo porque somos solo dos). Sin embargo, no se nos permite poner nuestra bolsa o cualquier cosa en la silla a nuestro lado. Lo entendería si hay otros clientes o si está ocupado pero no lo está. El tipo que está sirviendo sigue viniendo hacia nosotros. No me siento bienvenido aquí. Como turista, no recomiendo. No son acogedores en absoluto.

Really lovely atmosphere, even on a Thursday afternoon. Went there for a pint after my cousin's funeral, as it was his favourite pub. I can see why he liked it so much. Prices are fair, and the servers are very kind. I knocked 3 separate drinks over during my visit, and no fuss or anger from the staff, they just handed me a roll of paper towels. As a clumsy person I can appreciate that! Wholeheartedly recommend this place!
