The best restaurants in Scotland

Sadly Pavement has now closed, thank you for the lovely nights we had in here and happy retirement. Pavement is reopening as a mexican pub/ restaurant, so I'll update when I've been in.

Just had a fabulous Sunday Roast, food was excellent. We were served mainly by Lucy who was so friendly and attentive despite it being Rugby day. Thank you all - it was wonderful 😊

Just had a meal with the family! Great service. Everyone who served us was smiling. It was a prompt service. The starters of veg samosa and vegetable pakoras were delicious! Aloo gobi, bhuna and the malai tikka were absolutely brilliant! Very quick service! Overall it was a great evening! Give it a go; you’ll not be disappointed I think!

Amazing breakfast, we went ad a family, we got the last table but everyone came in had reserved a seat, even for breakfast which is a good sign! I ad the Halloumi flatbread, wife had French toast with fruit compile and daughter the French toast with bacon. All so delicious. Coffee, chai latte and hot chocolate next level. Will be back again without doubt. The staff super attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Good attentive staff,pleasant ambience and food of haggis scotch eggs,breaded Brie,Salmon and beetroot for starters were splendid.Main courses of chicken Kiev and sides amazing.Plus the 16 oz sharing sirloin steak also with sides extremely delicious.Two bottles of a red and white wine complimented the meals exceedingly well.Will be back.

Have been here a few times now, and the food is always great. Lovely soup, delicious cakes and a nice atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and you can browse their selection of quirky vintage items and artworks while you're there.

We had small plates which were all really tasty. Only downside was they were all brought out at the same time, so some of the food got slightly cold. That's the only negative. Highly recommend.

Best place for sushi in Aberdeen. Excellent service and food. Both lads are very passionate about their work and I will keep coming back

Food was very good. Sat by the door which wasn’t pleasant. Very cold draft every time someone came in, and a bit awkward as they linger at the edge of the table to be seated. HOWEVER, the food was beautiful.

Lovely food good selection ..especially the Quiche .tasty homemade cakes. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Relaxing place to visit l..gift shop, some beautiful stuff

Hats off the best restaurant in Uddingston. Amazing food, lovely service! We go here at least once a week just now and never have a complaint. Staff are always so lovely (Mia the manager is always so helpful and chatty.) The food is dynamite also!

Been drinking in The Gantry for a few months now. Service & selection of drinks is excellent. Always nice friendly atmosphere
