Our family use to own this lovely place ‘Blackshaws’ been here many a time but their standards have slipped my wife and I took her mother for a treat a festive meal which we booked first of all we were given the a la carte menu had to ask for the Xmas menu the place was cold we kept our jackets on had to ask for drinks service was poor we asked for prawn cocktails as a starter no prawn cocktails especially at this time of the year when we got our mains course all the food on the plate was cold I left a tip and left I did send an email complaining but bad customer service as yet they have not given me an answer I don’t think we will be returning bad experience 😡

What an excellent local cafe. All day breakfasts and also healthy cooked foods! Tasty selection of cakes too! Great place for local people to meet and chat. August 2023: Excellent mixed seafood grill with noodles. Lovely! Dec 24 and we keep going back.

I've had Korean food in the UK a few times but this place is by far the best. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was perfect and portions were generous. The service was great and the atmosphere lovely with families, couples and groups all enjoying themselves. I can't wait to bring my friends here. Not just the best Korean food in Glasgow City Centre but possibly the best food full stop.

This place is clean, tidy and a pleasant to be in I would recommend it highly. We only went for a coffee but the food being served looked delicious

Absolutely outstanding. We ordered each of the dishes on the menu and they were all 10 out of 10. Young staff enthusiastic despite the closure. But wait.......we can never go back despite being very keen to do so,,,,why you ask...well its now closed down. Now if this restaurant was in the Merchant City/Finniston or the south side it would have been packed out every day, but because of its location right in the city centre it didn't stand a chance. Oh and the lack of publicity did not help. So guys you have missed the boat on this one, mores the pity.

Great service. The agedashi tofu was delicious and quite original for Edinburgh. The chicken gyoza were slightly too oily. Clean and calm space.

Food and service were good. The ambience has absolutely nothing to do with a restaurant. It was freezing cold and the radiator running didn't make much difference other than noise. You should dress warmly.
