Great little find while out Christmas shopping. Immediately welcomed by the barmaid/waitress into a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had an excellent breakfast which was very reasonably priced but the star of this little bar is its staff! She was so warm, friendly and welcoming, we will definitely return!

We were here for a dinner recently and it was perfect. Cosy and comfortable and the value for money was brilliant. There are so many bars round about too if you want to go between a few. We will be back.

Was vastly disappointed tonight to see Kirk has been moved from his spot in favour of a coffee machine. Felt the pub lacks the usual ambience without kirk in the spot light .not stuck in corner

Great cocktails and great service, also really good value for money. Espresso martini and the drumstick cocktails recommended

This was a birthday gift from friends and our first visit. We were very impressed with the delicious food and the welcoming, friendly, and efficient service. We had the chilli and lime crab ravioli to start, then the Ayrshire lamb and Scotch beef. Desserts were lime posset and olive oil and cherry sponge. The presentation and flavours of the dishes and all accompaniments were superb. The ambiance was cozy and perfect for us. A great celebration and we’ll be back for sure. Many thanks to everyone

Absolutely amazing breakfast, came on Sunday and had the Scottish breakfast, went Saturday to the bucket list rated number 3 for breakfast but this was so so much better please if you are in Glasgow come to no 16 the staff are so friendly and welcoming the atmosphere is great and the breakfast is one of the best I have ever had.

Was originally booked to see Joy Devision tribute band, turned out it had been rescheduled, where could we go? well we saw this bar and my goodness it made up for our concert, there was a talented guitar player who sang great songs such as love will tare us apart and many other greats, fantastic people and an experience that was unexpected myself and my daughter had a wonderful night. Thanks to the staff and the people who made it a great night.

The food was amazing! The place is small and simple but the food says it all. The waitress was so lovely and helpful. We will definitely go again.

Fantastic experience in this quaint venue tucked beneath Central Station. Great location close to main streets, incredibly well stocked bar (vodkas especially) and very welcoming staff. Lucy was a doll and kept us well hydrated on Japanese lager. Will definitely be returning.

Fun friendly Scottish bar beside Central station Glasgow. Lucy and John where brilliant. Seating inside and out. We were early for the cold play concert and decided to have a drink while we waited on the next train. One drink turned into 5 or 6 drinks because of the crac. Toilets were spotless. Drink was very reasonably priced for a bar in the city and Lucy was so funny. When we're back back in Glasgow we'll definitely be back.

Excellent fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome by the front of house staff and then came the food! I appreciated the recommendation of the venison and my wife loved the cod. The flavours of all the dishes were fresh and vibrant and the reasonably priced wine complemented them perfectly. Hope to be back again soon.

Stopped by a couple of weeks ago for a quick pint and was met with the absolute loveliest service! Knew I had to come back, and was instantly welcomed like an old friend. All of the staff are absolutely smashing, but Lucy especially was the wee gem that made me want to come back! Such brilliant service 😊

I hadn't been here for a while - but I will go back again, and again, and again - and soon. Fabulous food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Not cheap - but well worth the money.

Had heard all about this place from friends, was lucky enough to get a table booked for Valentines day. Food ,service ,atmosphere around the place was fantastic, wife can be a bit fussy concerning food,but,was raving about this place all the way home, price is very reasonable for food this good,hardest part of the day was selecting what to have off the small but mouthwatering menu, all in all ,one of the best eating experiences we have had in Glasgow, and we've had a few,will be back,very soon.

Absolutely amazing wee place. Friendly staff, amazing food and not too pricey for city centre. Great music. You really must taste their food its top class for the price. Will be back again soon.
