R34 Restaurant and Cafe in Renfrewshire

Lovely scones with jam & cream (and strawberry) to go with our teas. Dog friendly. We didn't stay for a meal on this occasion.

Husband and I had a lovely lunch today. Food and service excellent. It was our first time visiting but won't be out last. Waitress was so accommodating. Would certainly recommend

This restaurant was recommended to us as a venue for our mum's funeral tea. We visited without notice but were welcomed so warmly by Janette and shown the lovely dining room that we knew immediately that it was the right place for such an important day for our family. The funeral tea itself was wonderful with comforting homemade lentil soup and sandwiches followed by delicious scones and empire biscuits. Nothing was a bother for Janette and her staff. We truly cannot thank them enough for making a difficult day a happy one by allowing us time to share memories of our dear mum with family and friends in such a lovely room. Our family has also eaten lunch here on a separate day and every one of us enjoyed our meals, the food was absolutely delicious. We will be back! We would thoroughly recommend R34 as both a wonderful dining experience and as a lovely friendly venue for family events.

Once again I had the pleasure of dining in R34 this is. Beautiful location to enjoy great food, great service, and great atmosphere.

Stumbled across R34 restaurant while looking for a good local place to have dinner. R34 is an outstanding family restaurant that truly knows how to deliver an exceptional dining experience. From their outstanding service to their remarkable breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and fantastic atmosphere, this place has it all. If you're looking to enjoy a delicious meal with your loved ones, R34 is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to come back and try it again

Delicious fish lunch. Chips triple fried, which made them exceptional. Fish was fresh and cooked perfectly and accompanied by fresh salad. Service was very good; everyone attentive and respectful.

We had a lovely lunch with friendly and prompt service. The Chinese style curry was very good and cooked to order. The desserts were amazing and not too expensive. Well worth a visit but don't follow the trip advisor map which is wrong and the heading says R 34 is closed when it is very much open.

Lovely place and lovely staff went there yesterday with my mum and my son and my partner and my 8mknth old grandson couldn’t fault it staff lovely and food and price great

Probably the best meal I have had in the last year at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend this place to anybody who likes good food, well cooked and piping hot. Will definitely be back as it is one of the best restaurants that allows dogs. Staff are great and very helpful. 2 Courses for 2 people with Wine and Coffee for just over £50. Can’t beat that for great value for money

After a short break from their previous premises from which they were sadly missed John and Janette have moved premises to the R34 restaurant at the India Tyres building in Inchinnan Still the same delicious menu However you can have your meal in pleasant surroundings with white linen tablecloths or if you wish dine next door same menu in a cafe area

Nice environment, good fresh food at a good price. When visiting the India of Inchinnan site a visit to the R34 restaurant is a recommended one ;-)

The R34 Restaurant and Cafe is located in the historic India of Inchinnan building. The cafe serves simple breakfast and lunch food, mostly to local office workers, but is open to the public. The food is very basic, with meat pies, chips, a few mains, and sandwiches. The building is more interesting. The historic shell is the old headquarters office for the India of Inchinnin tire factory. The building has a modern addition build to resemble the British dirigible- the R34 - which was based near the location (and where the restaurant gets it name). Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Cafe is open, in contemporary extension inspired by airship design. It’s a private secure building but public can visit ground floor. Scaffolding on exterior just now. Easy to find on A8 and definitely worth the trip.

This is now closed, and has been for at least 2 years. Seems open to just staff within tin building, which was bought over. This is all a bit of a mystery but it used to be so good. Loved being able to walk over from home. Great home baking and really good lunches. Not really sure what's going on with it at all?

Being Art Deco fans, my travelling companion and I decided to find this building for own inspection. Eventually, after many roundabouts, it appeared before us. Quite impressive it is too. We arrived, got parked in a very busy car park and decided to take some photo's of the exterior. A big No, No nowadays, it seems! Looking at the impressive marble floor foyer design, we made our way to the cafe for coffee. Then we were approached by very amiable security.... Turns out that he was tipped off at us taking our photo's by some paranoid workers perhaps? Enough said that the company is American within the building and of course has strict polices on photography... Slightly understandable if the place/cafe was NOT open to the public. Anyway the food looked and smelt good, and the coffee was excellent. Has excellent reviews of its restaurant past, not sure if it still operates at night as this, on the walls. Worth a detour, but remember just to keep your camera out of sight!

Lunchtime trade for quick snacks only these days. Couple of hot meals as well as made up sandwiches to your spec. Can be difficult to get parked

Very friendly and chatty staff really make you feel welcome. I work round the corner from this restaurant and will now be making regular trips back for lunches now that i have discovered it :-) Very tasty food and great prices for the portion sizes!

Lovely clean place well hidden our company did afternoon tea excelled them self. We had mixed company and there was no complaints plenty of piping hot tea lovely freshly made sandwiches.cakes to die for .
