Abbey Inn in Renfrewshire

Came to have dinner and to do the Sunday night quiz, excellent service from Chloe and had a fantastic night although we didn’t win. The place has a lively and friendly atmosphere, the food was lovely

As per usual my stay here was excellent. For travelling up to Paisley it is the number one place! I always enjoy my time there and the staff are incredibly friendly always greeting you with a smile and funny chat. The food is really good and I particularly enjoy the BBQ Mac Burger that they do. The bedrooms are lovely and a quiet sleep at night. I look forward to my next stay here.

Give the Abbey Inn 👍. Been for dinner last week and last night. Food excellent, Reasonable price and service and staff excellent. Chef makes lovely food and bar staff serve great drinks. Nothings a bother to them. Surroundings Beautiful and beer garden Huge. Special thanks to all staff on last night especially Greg at the bar his service was immense. Room was nicely decorated and furnished but oh my, it needs a decent clean! All surfaces thick with dust, tea/coffee drawer was filthy with debris/dust, shower intermittent in pressure, cubicle not very clean with mould on grouting and in corners of screen, floor not clean either. On the up side bed was very comfy and I slept well, area was quiet (Thur night). Wasn't impressed by food selection in bar, had nachos.

Fantastic re-furb. Staff are friendly and welcoming it's nice to sit in a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious great value for money.

Great experience! The room was comfortable and very clean. We had delicious dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Matthew is very friendly and helpful, a great example of the Scottish kindness we found during our trip.

Was here for fathers Day with the family. It was a great pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Jilly was so attentive to my family even though she was really busy all the staff did great. Will defo be back.

Had a smashing breakfast here today. Super easy to order. Lovely cooked breakfast served by lovely staff. What more could you ask? Yep, very reasonable prices and could even bring the dog :)

Loved the atmosphere in the pub on Monday night for the Scotland game. Fanatic crowd, and my dinner was great as well. Definitely will be back and highly recommend for watching football.

Recently was in the Abbey Inn for dinner and drinks and Theresa couldn’t have been more helpful & lovely and she recommended the Mixer app which I have now downloaded and is a new favourite

Had the best time at the Abbey Inn. Staff were lovely & friendly especially Theresa who was very helpful & recommended the new loyalty card which saved me money & I’ll be using in the future and recommend to friends. Will be back for another night :) xx

Have tried for 2 hours today to make a family booking for dinner but can’t get through the phone system. Held on for 20 minutes one time and no one picked up. Absolute rubbish. Going elsewhere.

Loads of screens and seats for watching the game on Saturday. There was a wide selection of great beer and spirits, started on the Guinness ended on the kraken and coke:)) Food looked great as well, wasn't too hungry so just opted for the three small plates deal, definitely hit the spot. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic pub!! The atmosphere is good. The team are friendly & helpful. Love the new MiXR app. Their TV’s everywhere for the sport. The Quiz on a Sunday night is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend a visit!!! 👍

Went here for a 40th Birthday celebration. The food is a bit like what you would get in a Weatherspoons. It was good value for money and the service was good.

I was at the abbey today for some lunch with friends and was welcomed with a very warm Christmasy feel, decorated beautifully and lovely candles burning away which was just very nice. The staff were friendly and always smiling! The service was great and food was lovely, chosen from the new Christmas menu! All in all the atmosphere was great and I Will definitely be going back soon. :)

Slowly becoming my favourite spot in Paisley. Jilly has always been a standout member of staff!! Always friendly, always polite, and very quick in her service. I'd recommend her anywhere. Overall a dynamite spot. One of the best hotels I've ever visited and spots to have a drink in.

Best Breakfast in Paisley! So fresh and everything is cooked to order! Staff are always 10/10 as well, so friendly and welcoming nothing is too much trouble! Always the first place I recommend to family & friends when they are in the area!

Disappointed I go here regularly for lunch when I went 23/10/23 I could see they were doing work behind the bar which was fine but mid way through eating my lunch they started varnishing the bar counter .The smell of the varnish was very strong and off putting I couldn’t finish my lunch . I did mention it to staff who eventually opened the back door

Disgusting. Service. I ordered a large fish and chips, when the meal arrived I was given a fish platter after a disagreement with the waiter it was taken away only to return with the sausage gravy and bread taken off the plate they didn’t even have the sense to take the butter off the plate, so not only was I charged for a fish platter which cost a lot more all I received was a small fish and chips, absolutely disgusting meal and service, I’ll never be back also wife’s, chicken burger was pathetic, dry and again bloody disgusting.

Ordered chicken and leek pie was expecting homemade but a baked pie arrived I’m sure this was just a frozen one . Mashed potatoes tasted like precooked mash that you can buy locally. Was disappointed in quality.
