Lovely little cafe, coffee and panini great. Toilets clean but no soap. Unfortunately one star off for drinking water supply for motorhomes cut off and black water dump seems blocked and nearly overflowing with no sign not to use and no water or hose to wash down so "spillage" around waste dump as it's been used but no way to clean after. Love these services and always spend money here when using but people rely on them even out of season.

Small takeaway that we stopped at on our way to Edinburgh. Small place, offering a few snacks and sweets. Comfortable and enough large bathrooms. The outside is beautiful, there are benches and tables with a splendid view of the lake.

You've got to have pretty low standards to think this place is good. £6 for a cheese and ham panini where every element of it is from the value isle. One slither of ham! It's an absolute joke! Teas also tasted disgusting which is quite an achievement. £25 for three paninis, two teas and two apple juices; the majority of which went in the bin. Avoid unless you're content to be ripped off.

Very very poor, it’s not a cafe, don’t expect bacon or sausage sandwiches because all they do is a cold croissant no butter no jam,( but I’m sure it will still taste good ) she quoted a few overpriced cakes and I think paninis , their cappuccino I could actually tip upside down it was just bubbles of milk and a 1cm of fluid and got billed just under a £5 for the privilege. Very very poor for a business to call themselves a cafe At a major tourist rest spot I certainly don’t recommend very over priced poor service and food. I never put good food in the bin, but that’s what I did before getting to my car . Stay away

A wonderful young girl prepares in that small place one of the best coffee I've drunk!! And I say it not because she is very nice, pretty and very kind, but because this coffee is maximally essential and mega correctly made. For the last 100 coffees I've drunk in London and Scotland this was best prepared!!! Flat White had the right balance, beautiful body, as the only one did not have too much milk and was appropriately strong!!!!! Barists of big restaurants, that person knows what it does!!! ;)

Vaig localitzar aquest lloc per internet, vam passar de camí a les Highlands per estirar les cames i fer un cafè, però malauradament estaven en obres amb el local tancat. Very bright and helpful young staff, coffee was good and bacon buttie was good and filling, more expensive than some places.Do not try to visit at the present time as the Loch Lomond National Parks have decided to revamp the toilets in the building which they own and the cafe has had to shut right in the middle of the summer tourist season, putting staff out of work and to the annoyance of the many regulars and visitors who use it while waiting for a cruise on Loch Lomond. This is the cras stupidity of National Parks Authority to close it in the summer when this work could have been done before the season started.I hope the cafe can reopen soon because it is popular.

All the money was clearly spent on the sign at the side of the road. The “cafe” is more like a very small alleyway with a kitchen on one side and two tables on another. No room to move if busy / raining. And then there is the phoney banter so beloved of people from round here. You can’t hear yourself think whilst the staff shriek and gurn at anyone unfortunate enough to enter their premises. There is not much else here, so bring a packed lunch and a flask of tea instead.

Located conveniently where the road forks left to Campbeltown and right to Crianlarich, follow the Crianlarich turnoff at the Tarbert Hotel and turn into the car park about 10 yards along marked WC at the bus stop. Needless to say there's a WC in the cafe, very clean and convenient. Inside the ladies are very kind and helpful, fare is basic, soup, sandwiches, toasties, cakes and drinks. My wife had the soup of the day, lentil, home made, tasty and well seasoned. I had the cheese and tomato sandwich which was fresh and delicious. I was sore tempted by the cakes, there was a wonderful interchange between the ladies with a regular customer about the peppermint shortcakes, so good she took two. There's a large green leading down to the Loch, so beautiful views and places to exercise the children or dog. Overall a great place to pause whether heading north or south.

Forget the silly reviews from people who have hardly reviewed any places. I only post reviews for Pam se I recommend and this is one of them. First thanks to the team and especially the lady who described her self as also a travel agent in the week. She made us so welcome and enhanced our visit. My French friend described the venison hot dogs as the best he had ever tried and he had previously lived in the US. I think the waitress may have mistakenly thought he was joking when he said it but he wasn’t. He continued mentioning it well into the afternoon. My BLT was perfect. And I decided to take a fruit scone home to saviour after our bike ride. I normally judge a place by its scones and these fruit scones were absolutely packed with fruit. Best I have had in quite some time. Clean loos and pleasant outside area. All in all thanks we real,y enjoyed it.
