The food was tasty, staff were friendly and the kids menu was good too with plenty of options. They also offer a 20% blue light discount. Plenty of parking onsite too. Will definitely be back.

Great wee find for a dog friendly pub. Very nice place and good prices. Only thing was very cold when doors open and close especially in winter! 🥶

The experience was awful. Usually a great pub but I raised concerns about the lock on the disabled toilet. It was starting to fault. Months later, after I advised staff and management about it. I pointed out it was failing, I got locked in! How is a person with disabilities with disabilities able to keep their dignity when the facilities fail us.

Was in the private function suite, even though it is summer, was a cold breeze, and bar staff kept opening back door, making it literally a freezing blast all night. But buffet was really lovely and plenty of it

We came to the Bracken for lunch with family, there was 8 of us in total. 6 of the meals had to be sent back due to pink chicken and even more pink in the beef burgers. Every member of our party were disgusted by this and were completely put off. We could not stomach any substitute meal and just ate a few chips instead. We had little to no apology for this, not even so much as a conversation with a senior member of staff. We entered this establishment hungry and left sick to our stomachs. We will not be returning to this establishment and definitely would not recommend anyone else to either.

Went for the football, showed Celtic and Newcastle matches on different screens. Good beer and good service. Will be back

Decent family dinner, with ages 10-90 catered for. Plenty of food choice, decent wine and beer options, everyone left full and happy, staff were really good to.

OK but not amazing. Located on a pk. A lot of waiting because the waitress was in the restaurant room and serving at the bar in another room...

Visited here for dinner when visiting family. We were really impressed with the food selection and the taste and quality of it was really good. The pakoras and Cajun chicken were both delicious. Will certainly be returning the next time I’m up visiting family.

Went to local bar for dinner, staff were good but food was disappointing, struggling to give 2 stars, creamy Cajun chicken (poor), Katso Chicken curry (was a joke) fish and chips was OK and cheese burger was OK, Been her before around 1 year ago and it was much better. Trying to stay local to support local businesses but don't think we"ll be going back

Second review my first fir restaurant was 5 star this experience was awful.Tea after brother in laws funeral small plate of sandwiches hard obv been out for a while sausage rolls like warm in middle n burnt on bottom soup can only be described as cheesy dishwater n 1 small cake cream each that had been left sitting in direct sunlight so warmer than the sausage rolls. The price charged for this was ridiculous first and last time we would ever use for a function.

Went for a light lunch good food n prices

Ellie who served us was just lovely - she struck the right balance between attentiveness and not being intrusive. Our food was lovely (I had mac n cheese and chunky chips with a few salad leaves 😋).

Food excellent & friendly & efficient staff. Clean & relaxed atmosphere. Only negative was 3 items were not available on the menu including icecream on a hot day aswell.

I am impressed with their service and food quality. I gave three stars for atmosphere, only because they place too many air conditioning. I felt bit freezing in time of hot summer outside. Beside all, we will definitely visit that bar again in the near future.

First time to this restaurant. Identical to Lorimers in Bishopton not sure if they are connected. Anyway ordered fish and chips. Asked for thin chips but thick was what we received. Tartar sauce was advertised but we didn't receive any. Food was tasty can't deny and the waitress was pleasant. Only real gripe was the air con unit above which was thick with dust. Was a tad worried it case we got dust in our grub! Aside from that the place is spotless. Would return x

Went today pre booked have tried all pubs food places erskine&inchinnan& bishopton and further afield ordered tempura prawns starter then smoked salmon&king prawn liquini (main) awesome plenty fish and seafood could actually put some Italian places to shame just add mussels and squid and its the best frutti de mare for the money

It's was just *fine*. But I ordered a philly cheesesteak flatbread and it was steak in peppercorn sauce (not actually a Philly cheesesteak) so really difficult to eat without a knife and fork. Had cheesecake for desert, which was lovely but the base was so thick that every time I cut it with my fork, it would make a massive clatter on the plate and I was feart the cheesecake was gonna end up on someone else's plate lol. Service was great, the girls were lovely.

Nice and clean, poor choice in drinks ( was advised this was due to It being after the Christmas period) Food was very poor. Portion sizes were very small and the food was not very warm.

First visit here and really surprised how nice the placed looked inside, also the food was good and reasonably priced. The waiting staff where excellent and the food arrived quickly also.

Ordered food which wasn't nice. The chicken was dry,the sauce was thick and gloopy and two slices of the fattiest under cooked bacon were thrown on like some kind of after thought

Not a review as I haven’t had the pleasure to try out the place yet. Just a heads up that despite being open till late, the last window for asking for a table last Saturday was way before 8:00pm. We were travelling from Inverness to Manchester and really wanted to stop there for dinner but didn’t realise get the correct info from google maps. There’s always next time I hope.

First time here had to eat in the bar as they had a function on but this was fine as they had nice booths and tables. Food was really good as well as selection. Staff very friendly and helpful

Came with family of 7 ordered food, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the food was absolutely lovely, ordered kind prawns and chorizo, halloumi fries. For mains we ordered meat feast burger, steaks, chips and pasta. Both starters and mains wear perfectly made and tasted lovely. Definitely recommend to anyone. Need visit and eat in

Nice bar lovely staff,but the meat in the steak pie was tough,my daughter in law had the mac and cheese which was penne pasta with a creamy sauce.So disappointing as it was my son's birthday.

Loved my visit to the Bracken. Was in for the restaurant with the family, fantastic service and the food is delicious and fairly priced, mid range for a family of 4 wanting a good feed in a good atmosphere. Only way it could maybe improve from a parent side of it is maybe a kiddie area, but space is limited where its situated so understand why it's probably not possible. Anyhoo, recommend full for a good pub grub experience that you will go back for 👍😎

Dropped in for lunch and although quiet, the food was very nice and good v.f.m. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Would visit again if in the area.

Food was ok could have been better. Chips were huge! Macaroni was not macaroni but penne pasta with a very runny cheese sauce and there was more batter than fish. A bit disappointing but staff were nice and attentive.

Good to have a local pub that not only has a friendly atmosphere but serves decent food too.
