I wouldn't recommend you to eat seafood pie, because it doesn't have any inside. There were only 2 tiny shrimps. There should have been salmon and another fish, but we couldn't find it. There were only potatoes. The one with steak is better. You place the order somewhere else. You buy the drink yourself and bring it to the table. I think it's popular because of the location and environment.

In York for a few days and stopped for a drink or two. Staff friendly and the beer garden was nice to sit in. Did see food coming out that looked nice. A nice place to sit and catch our breaths.

Very poor Ordered a Cumberland sausage sandwich on white bread When it arrived it was plain processedpork sausages in supermarket sliced bread The ketchup (in a Heinz bottle refilled) was cheap and vinagery When I questioned the sausages I was told it was all they had I won’t be visiting again!

Just had a consultation on the YSL counter. Looked after so well and feel really confident in the products I bought and the colour choices. Thank you for looking after me!

Lovely staff and great latte. But what can I say re the rubbish. We couldn’t believe our eyes when not one but 8 red rubbish bins were wheeled through the cafe in full view of everyone. It really should have been 9 bins as the first were so over full. What we also noticed was that no attempt to segregate the rubbish had been made. There were signs saying mixed dry recyclables ♻️ on the bin but we could see that everything had been bagged up together in plastic bags - even the sign on bin said no plastic bags but rubbish was in white plastic bags. We thought it was so unhygienic and we’re not sure what Health and Safety would say about it. Shocking. All in full view of customers.

The worst steak I’ve ever had.Two thirds of it was grizzle , and the rest of it was as chuck as you could get Avoid The peppercorn sauce was a gooey mess

Bright, clean and welcoming with nice staff.

Took my young daughter for afternoon tea, it was busy so needed to wait but it was well worth it. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful ( we wanted just one type of sandwich because we don’t eat meat ) and they sorted this without any fuss. The sandwiches and cakes was super tasty and fresh. I would say just couple of down sides, wish my daughter could have had a juice instead of hot drink with the afternoon tea (But she was still very happy with hot chocolate) And toilets are upstairs, maybe not so good for someone with mobility issues. All in all a very good visit and can’t wait to visit again.

Conocí a un ex colega para charlar y ponerme al día y beber. Ella tomó un café y yo un té. Un buen ambiente y buenas bebidas. claramente un café popular.

I regularly visit this shop, always very clean and well maintained,it has a small corner to sit and have coffee and cake etc.. great coffee and the best Ice cream I have ever tasted... really lovely staff, always friendly and helpful...and of course a great selection of Hotel Chocolat goodies... would highly recommend

Gran selección de baguettes, la vegetariana podría hacer con un poco más houmous o la opción de comprar una olla pequeña en el lateral. ¡A mi marido le encantaba la baguette de pollo al curry!

Hopeless place …last 3 times I have been in there, standing in a long queue for them to tell you when you get to been served , that they’re only serving in paper cups . So when I go for a coffee and they ask you if it’s sit or take out , it means nothing . I enquired as to why they were not serving in proper cups and mugs ….answer we are very busy What a cop out. If you’re busy then you should be geared up for that . If I want a paper cup I’ll go in and get a coffee to go . What a joke ..

Just been served on the lotto counter, staff too busy gossiping and showing each other what ever was on their phones. Didn’t get a hello or thank you… the basics in retail, why do I bother giving you my money.
