Perfect place for a lunch time snack.Called because was having car serviced on Clifton moor.Always great choices of snacky toasties etc.Staff always helpful and pleasant and very efficient.Will definitely call again.

Holly and Jody (I think) handled my situation with great empathy and understanding and went beyond what was required to address the small issue. I hope they are highly valued by the company. Greatly appreciated

Visited here today and was surprised at how busy it was. The staffed seemed to be quite stressed and running around like headless chickens. The checkout area was very busy as the staff could not keep up with the orders and people were just standing at the checkout area waiting for their orders. The store was clean and as much as it was not an unpleasant experience here not sure I would like to relax in the chaos around me

Visited place few times so far and it seems that they struggle with staff as each time seen different ones and they don't keep the standards. Took a while ago card to collect the point yet found that it is not working and they told me to go to another one to claim the points which was hilarious. Guess is okay for simple coffee but prices sky rocketed

I love Costa coffee, it is the best coffee I have tasted, very satisfying, staff are friendly and courteous, prices are what you expect to pay for good coffee, food is good too and they do a selection of Marks and Spencer food . Would definitely recommend.

The coffee was um coffee, but the staff were lovely and helped my husband with the app so 10/10

Although it can get a little busy at times, its a good place to get a Costa coffee and have a sit down with a bacon bap and a cake. The staff are friendly, and the coffee is as you would expect, though do check the temperature as it can sometimes be cooler than you might want.

We didn't know about the food as we only had a coffee each. As always a good coffee.

The store has a very special atmosphere all of its own!! The staff are brilliant nothing is too much trouble. The store manager Meg is always on hand if ever need. BRILLIANT

Excellent staff , now the new manager is in charge, very friendly the only problem is they have the air conditioning on & it always cold , you need to wrap up winter clothes!!!!

We do like the prompt service and the efficient staff. The problem is its aways cold when we visit which we do not feel is very welcoming. Is this company policy? We mentioned it to a member of staff on our last visit, the lady kindly offered to turn the air conditioning off. Maybe it might be more conducive to perhaps turn the blower down.

Called in whilst waiting for the time to go to the hospital with the mother-in-law. Decent brew and helpful staff too. Still cannot understand why they allow a single person to hog a table for 4 whilst working away on a laptop and only purchase 1 drink.

As usual standard Costa fare, great coffee & great staff.

Piping hot chocolate 🍫 😋 and a blueberry muffin 🧁 It was really busy, but i got served. It was a pretty quick good choice of cakes and sandwiches and toasties, staff polite and good customer service 😀

For some reason they keep the heat running and it is way too hot to sit inside. Almost like they want to drive customers away.

Fabulous staff but had to walk out today very busy, and still no air conditioning as it was unbearable to stand in the queue and no outside space!! Most been like this five or more days.

There was a major problem with the aircon inside and a minor problem with the temperature outside. There was no happy medium, but the coffee was good.

What an earth has happened to this place. The place is tired looking and totally uninviting. I often pop in either to sit in with work friends or after work for a takeout and it’s like Groundhog Day a long queue which takes ages and to be honest can’t be the baristas fault as is usually it’s always the poor same girls on there own dealing with serving (blonde curly hair and a ginger haired girl) the only ones who seems to smile. Where is management and why have they not got the shop and staff organised or even better instead of sitting on the shop floor with family socialising and bragging her place she could jump on the till and help her team me and our work colleagues were shocked at the lack of unprofessionalism. Used to be a pleasure to pop in. What staff I do see seem ignorant and please could the young girl covered in tattoos have a bit of a moral of who is the customer we found her to be extremely rude to a young gent with a clear disability who asked for some help with his tray very unprofessional.

I am a huge coffee lover, I normally go to the costa at vanguard. However, I thought id try the costa at Clifton moor i have never been to such a disgusting costa in my life. Definitely not worth your time if you haven't been. The cafe area is dirty, lots of crumbs all over the floor, spillage stains on most of the chairs. Tables not being wiped, the toilets were disgusting, tissue all over the floor not clean what so ever. The staff members were very rude, no smiley faces, no hello and I could see them all shoulder barging each other behind the counter to get past one another. It was not a nice atmosphere to be in at all. Definitely needs a refurb, and to hear the staff members talking about one another in awful ways was not professional what so ever. I will not be returning I think I will stick to costa at vanguard

I was very disappointed today when I met my friend in Costa we always have large coffee & almond crousant it was very dry &!barely any filling not fresh at all: as it was very busy I didn’t complain but will do next time I’m in I will.

What a shambles ! Queued for ages, very slow service, rude staff on the till, was given a dirty cup with my latte in - yes really !!! Cafe floor was filthy, toilets dirty, both men’s and women’s, not wheelchair friendly at all. Tables were cleared regularly, however they were not wiped. My chair was dirty, had coffee spilled on it by a previous user, not good having to clean up before you eat/drink. All in all very poor for a costa, in fact the worst I have ever been in. First impressions last, and unfortunately mine is not favourable at all

Never met such rude people no smiles no hello just grumpy people behind the counter. I tried to complain but told there was no boss so I spoke to someone with curly hair a lad he was rude basically didn't care they done nothing. When our food was ready again no smiles she just dropped the food on the table and walked away. The menu kept changing and no staff would help never been so disappointed. I work in a cafe and I would have been fired the dirty looks where vile. We will not be coming back and I expect that lot to be re trained time 13.33 24 August so you know who it was.

Ive never been but i heard about a little fly incident. This has thrown me off, i will NEVER return. The fly had mad drip though so not entirely bad... I guess.

Went to costa just to grab a quick coffee on sunday morning. I was stood at the cake bit and all i could see was a fly sat on a cake, I let the lady know behind the counter which she got rid of the cake but not the fly the fly then went on to another cake so again I let her know when her snappy replie was well what do you want me to do about that..... she never did anything to try and get rid of the fly which by now has touched at least 6 cakes. The way she spoke to me was disgusting and as for the fly on the cakes its understandable to not notice but to notice and clearly not give a dam is very very bad hygiene! My recommendation to anyone going to this branch, don't eat the cakes!

Normal Costa offering in terms of menu, but what really stood out was the friendly service. Still thinks it’s a little overpriced but that’s the way it goes.

Went here for the third time at Clifton moor opposite Tesco’s while on holiday, the usual high standard of costas absolutely manically busy at lunch time but still very friendly and quick efficient service, I think a manager was the one who served us and corrected a problem we had had the day before, he was so on the ball and very quickly remedied our problem, 5 stars to him and for remembering who we were out of many many customers the day before, love the outdoor seating area which was so clean and very popular and plenty of seating indoors. Chatty staff including the barista from Phoenix who was excellent. Lovely costas professional manager (think he was manager) would go back no doubt

Was on a shopping trip called in to this venue, typical Costa with plenty of outside seating, pity it was a bit cold.

To be clear, the Costa brand of coffee is one of my favourites. However, a recent visit to this outlet was excruciatingly slow. With 6 staff visible, there should be no reason for half the tables to be stacked with dirty cups / plates, let alone having to wait 17 minutes in a short queue to be served. The staff here were very engaging once we eventually got served, but there's little obvious excuse for the poor performance today.

Called in on monday 8 oct for a coffee and cake struggled to find a clean table when we did it wasnt clean but cleaner than most the fixed seating was covered in food and crumbs there were cake wrappers on the floor and the floor didnt look like it had been cleaned in days so definately wont be going back

Stopped off on a Sunday evening to break up our drive. It's on the retail park but bit confusing trying to work out how to get in and out. Standard Costa, nice food and coffee. Nice seating area inside and out.

Nice lunch and massive coffee enjoyable . Had the best goats cheese and salsa panini very yummy and coffee in a soup bowl delicious.

Cold, so cold. Always cold. Personally I think we pay enough to have some heating on. But that’s just me...

Stop here often for a sit and a nice coffee or hot chocolate and have always found the staff to be very friendly and efficient. Cakes are tasty and the establishment is very well placed on a shopping centre site. Worth a visit

This Costa Coffee is located in the Clifton Moor retail area and it is as well looked after as any other Costa Coffee. The staff are friendly and polite and the coffee is as good as anywhere else.
