The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Always like to pop in for a pint on trips to Brighton. Well located and great atmosphere. Surrounded by shops and convienent location on corner. Service good with a wide range of alcohol choices. Only comment is a limited range of non alcoholic drinks and no Guinness zero on last visit. Prices have increased along with many bars in recent times and was slightly quieter.

my pizza was raw my sisters jacket potato was rock hard my mums steak was dry and burnt the staff weren’t helpful at all the manager wasn’t any better!!! stick to the chicken nuggets you’ll be safe but don’t recommend this place at all

Absolutely terrible attitude of waiting staff who are clearly delirious of confusing the prestige of a restaurant chain and its owner and their self net worth 😂😂

Very disappointing experience the americano I ordered was like dishwater, was served another drink without any apology. Left without drinking any coffee. Costa really need to train their staff properly.

Was in here on Saturday 19 October 2024 at about 4.30 ish, with my autistic step daughter, and all of the guys working were absolutely brilliant. They answered her many questions ranging from whether or not they get free subway while they are working to what are olives like. I regularly use this branch of subway and having bought the same food as we usually get at a different branch, both myself and my partner agreed that the quality of the food from this branch is much better. Thank you again guys

I went in there yesterday middle of the afternoon. Very quiet with people playing pool and watching the sport on TV. There is no real ale here, but the bar staff were terrific. A top dollar bar maid.

WENT THERE FOR LUNCH MIDWEEK. STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, CHOSE HAM EGGS AND CHIPS. HAND CUT CHIPS, BUT UNDER COOKED, AND OILY. HAM WAS FINE, EGGS COULD HAVE BEEN DONE A LITTLE MORE, BUT THAT'S POSSIBLY DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE. PROBABLY NOT A PLACE TO RETURN TO, WOULD HAVE EXPECTED A BETTER EXPERIENCE.

I have been presently suprised, by this lovely gem of a place, that is literally a short walk from home, and got such a lovely vibe with very well kept ales, and do good entertainment, tucked away up in the corner of a parade, makes such a nice evening out, i would solely recommend it, and now found it will certainly go back, can't believe its taken me so long to find it.

We stopped here for a coffee and cake while on our walk into Taunton. Very nice cafe. Nice food and plenty of different drinks

The food was ok but the manager a man was sitting on the food counter which is ABIT off putting when they take the food from this area. The others staff were lovely and so happy

Excellent home cooked beef Sunday roast. Best I have eaten out. Informal and pleasant service. Friendly locals great to watch football.

I only rated this place 1 because there is no option for zero. Quite the worst cup of 'coffee' I ever recall having. Boiled water topped up with milk. My friends both commented on how revolting theirs were as well. The place stunk of burned food and the food on display was unappetising - I had wanted something to eat but couldn't bring myself to order any of it. I simply cannot understand how you can offer such a poor quality service. Never again.

Friendly efficient service. It was very cold in there, all customers had their coats on. Maybe a bit of warmth would make it a cosier place, that I would visit more often

Eating here is just like eating a subway in New York, Miami, or Chicago...except from this one you see in the distance the magnificent and storied spires of the Canterbury Cathedral. Who wouldn't want to have that view whilst enjoying a fine subway sandwich?
