The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Eating here is just like eating a subway in New York, Miami, or Chicago...except from this one you see in the distance the magnificent and storied spires of the Canterbury Cathedral. Who wouldn't want to have that view whilst enjoying a fine subway sandwich?

We visited last Saturday with friends & thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Food was great & our server Tom was exceptional. We will definitely return.

Walked in to 12 dirty tables (and it remained like that for the whole hour I was there). Staff not paying attention to details (clearly by my repeating order several times and still incorrect).

Always good for a cheap pint. Usually buzzing. Nice to be able to drink without loud background music.

Estaba dentro del pub con mi bf y dos amigos salí a fumar y volví a entrar. La guardia de seguridad me detuvo al entrar, me dijo que el pub estaba cerrando y yo era una europea blanca que no podía entrar. Le dije que mi amigo estaba dentro y era el negro Blain. Ella se rió de mí, y necesito mostrarle quién era mi mejor amiga. Ella entró siguiéndome. Nos quedamos hasta el cierre, cuando no podía multar la bufanda. Y fui al bar a preguntarle si habían encontrado mi bufanda. sin escucharme me gritaron y extremadamente consecuente diciendo que el bar estaba cerrado. Todo se salió de control innecesariamente hacerles salir corriendo sin escucharme.

I walked into this Waterfront Bar & Lounge early morning after a lovely zen walk along the seafront with my family. Then visited the cafe, then was greeted by a member of staff with a very unfriendly demeanour no morning greeting - I was greeted with a grumpy face and was told “we are busy so you will have to wait! “ So I walked out and went to COSTA - I like to support local business but not this occasion!

This place is now closed but the three fishes wetherspoon is on the opposite side of the road & still open

Cash in hand, don't go. Only take card payment. Mind you take gold card..

Used to be great but now Customer service is awful. Bought a dishwasher and they sent incorrect paper work. Just called 3 times to tell them. Once just heard them laughing and joking about an annoyed customer. Other times I was just cut off. Will use curry’s next time.

Whilst the food and drink was of average standard, I found the staff to be a bit off and abrupt. I was moaned at for queuing the wrong way though there was no signage and multiple people just seemed huddled at the till. I was then given an odd look for not taking my tray and had to explain I was still waiting some of the food. I won’t be rushing back to use them

This costa is always busy when I attend but the staff are incredibly attentive and the place is always clean. The staff are always super polite and make everything to a great standard. The lovely lady with the glasses and the tattoos who I always see on the weekends is fantastic and always super lovely 😁

The reception staff great. Room great. Food was excellent, both breakfast and evening meals. Great choices also. Pub staff polite and excellent. No complaints at all, location ideal for us. Thank you to Debbie

My partner and I visited on a Tuesday when most pubs in Margate were shut! The lady behind the bar was lovely to us and they had some good beers on tap. We really enjoyed the decor; it felt like we were in an old traditional seaside pub which is what I was searching for, worth a stop by!

UPDATE… This store has been run into the ground, the lovely staff members have all left, one very nice young man “sacked” for a pathetic reason. We now go to Sainsbury’s and buy large rolls and fillings and make our own. What can one say.... it’s a big roll with filling. Staff mostly friendly. Can run low on fillings towards the end of the day.
