The usual case of not having stock of what is offered online, and overpriced cafe. But both weekend visits have been marred by the attitude of Gen Z weekend staff (the regular staff uphold JL standards as ever ☺️). One couldn't even be bothered(able?) to divide £549 in half!

Food is always nice and hot and well presented. Anne is always very friendly and polite Always stops for a chat if she has time Would reccomend this place to eat and drink

My partner and I visited on a Tuesday when most pubs in Margate were shut! The lady behind the bar was lovely to us and they had some good beers on tap. We really enjoyed the decor; it felt like we were in an old traditional seaside pub which is what I was searching for, worth a stop by!

First subway for ages as been on a particular diet...very enjoyable

Fantastic service, even carried my food and drink to my table. Great hot chocolate and BLT.

We came for afternoon tea. Food is horrible. We had to follow up our order because they forgot / lost our order. Coffee and tea arrived cold. Management needs training to they can train their staff.

Visiting the area and was recommended by our B&B host. Rang in advance to book a table and we did ask if there were veggie options as one of us is vegetarian. We were told there were but not as many as the meat and fish options. When we arrived there was only one vegetarian main course of Arranchini I asked if there was anything else and was told there wasn’t much call for veggie food there. Food was okay, expensive for the portion size and served without the option for extra vegetables, salads or breads. Decidedly average

Excellent pizza and good range of alcohol free beers

Only got a three as the landlord was so miserable that we were laughing. We mentioned it to his wife and she shook her head I think in embarrassment and went out the back. Anyway as a group after shooting all said it could really be nice in the right hands. Had 3 pints and left never been back but pass it regularly.

What a dump . Sticky dirty tables . Food was absolutely rank . Chips were so re heated they could have smashed windows. The burger was so burnt & dry it was un edible. We did mention this to the waitress who told us to complain via a review. You could smell the stench of the place when you walked in & my only regret was not walking straight out & going without. £55 for absolute toilet. I felt sick that we didn’t just send it all back . Waitress wax a lovely girl felt sorry for her as she was probably used to people complaining. Could be a really nice place , shame really . Very disappointed in Beefeater for allowing a restaurant & Pub to become so run down .
