My wife and I fancied going somewhere different for food as we always end up in Wetherspoon’s and it always tastes the same… So we thought we’d try this place,the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was very nice and definitely hit the spot. We’ll definitely go here again in the future.

We went here for breakfast before our flight. We ordered online and our food started to arrive after 30 mins in stages. We had to continuously ask for our meals and after 45 mins one of our party had to have their breakfast as a takeaway because it took so long we were worried about missing our flight. It was chaotic despite the fact that there were so many staff and the food was mediocre at best. We definitely won't be rushing back here

Awful food , wanted pizza but after ordering , told the oven had broken ! I had the seafood linguine , never have I seen such translucent prawns or squid in all my life , no colour at all , no seasoning and only ate four mouthfuls before leaving the rest as I’d rather go hungry ! Awful

We had breakfast here before our flight and it was a great start to our holiday. I shared the vegetarian breakfast with my son. It included avocado smash as well as eggs, mushrooms, tomato, beans, potato, etc, and was delicious. My son also enjoyed the pancakes. The coffee was very good and much needed! Unfortunately I didn't get the name of our waitress, but she was excellent - very pleasant, and also very helpful when we told her about my son's nut allergy, which was much appreciated. This was the perfect start to our holiday, and if we fly from Gatwick in the future we'll definitely return.

Popped in for a breakfast before our flight, we've asked for water 3 times and didn't receive it, ordered 2 glasses of bubbles…. It was flat no bubbles the waitress came over and argued with us trying to make us feel stupid and responded with “our wine is on tap what do you expect” The prosecco served from the tap should not be flat another lady came over apologised and changed it for us I believe she was one of the managers as we were eating our meal the waitress came over once again and interrupted our conversation accusing us shouting that we were talking about her I felt very anxious at the very moment she was very aggressive, its very upsetting I can't be talking in my own language with my friend that was very racist and made both of us very uncomfortable, we've expected better from your restaurant after we've been referred by friends to come out and try it.

We always use this restaurant when flying from Gatwick north. No queues, good service and excellent food. We had coffee, coke a burger and a brunch. Typical airport prices but not rushed. Not loud and really well cooked.

Very nice tasting food but very expensive and very small portion sizes. Had a chili con carne and two cups of tea £22.20. To be honest I thought they had brought out a starter instead of a main meal.

On May 30th, my family and I traveled through Gatwick Airport and decided to go to Sonoma to eat like we have done the last few times. But this time our experience wasn't the best. We were served by a short lady with brown hair ( dont know her name ) and I can say that it was one of the most unprofessional services I've ever seen. firstly the way she spoke to her colleagues, secondly the smell of alcohol she had (I don't know how you guys accept someone working with a smell of alcohol) and lastly, we had to ask several people for our drinks because my “waitress” disappeared during the time we was there.

Airport food is normally disappointing at best, with poor service to boot. Sonoma tears up the rulebook! The food was excellent, the staff efficient and cheerful (even at 5.00am!). Simply the best you could hope for. Bravo Sandra for such attentive service.

We came here earlier in the week, thought we’d give it a go as not tried it before. The restaurant has huge amounts of seating and plenty of staff, so getting food on time is no problem- ours took about 15 mins from order. Our waitress was friendly enough too, it was just the food was expensive for what it was! I had the standard full English, my wife had salmon and scrambled eggs- and neither were particularly big or of great quality ( especially the smoked salmon which was minute! ). For a small amount more we could have bought access to one of the lounges for all 4 of us, with unlimited everything, so I think that’s what we will do from now on as these airport food outlets offer little value.

Speedy and friendly service but cold coffee. The avocado smash with added bacon was £16, which is a tad pricey and I was still hungry after eating. I also ordered an Americano coffee, which was cold and very small for £3.50. With a total bill of £19.45 I was left very disappointed.

The food was much nicer than I expected. Really big menu with loads of veggie options. I had a curry and it was absolutely lovely. They also guarantee fast service, which is nice when you have a flight to catch.

Just popped in to the Gatwick Airport restaurant. The veggie breakfast was delicious, no veggie sausages or burger, thank goodness, but slices of fresh avocado. Toast first class, coffee tasty, orange juice also. Will bring a bottle of tap water with a smile. Service top rate.

Didn't have to use a APP to get breakfast. Very welcoming experience.Staff with smiling happy faces. Tables not too close to each other. Empty tables clean and tidy. Waiting time for a table less than 3 mins. Russel our server was very polite and quick with our order. The food was excellent, compliments to Chef and backroom staff.

Early start, friendly waiting staff and NO NEED TO USE AN APP TO ORDER FOOD!!! Staff were quick to take order; food quality good, especially the fried eggs that came with the main dish which rate as best ever at an airport in the UK. Manu offers great alternatives to the usual full English etc.

Table looking over the crowds below helps kill time waiting on a flight. Salad and a fried chicken burger. Was asked if wanted sweet potato fries….come to that laters…. Food ok for airport. Got bill and there was an extra charge for sweet potato fries which I didn’t expect or told about by waitress….. felt a bit cheated to be honest

The food was nice and warm. I chose scrambled eggs on sourdough bread with a side of avocado and salmon. It was a very good helping of the avocado side, almost enough for two people! Food was ok, could have had more flavours.

Whilst in the departure lounge of the North Terminal of Gatwick Airport I wanted something to eat before my flight so I visited Sonoma. They say they will deliver your food within 10 minutes of you ordering. I thought this was a brave challenge to make so I timed how long it took and my food arrived in 8 minutes which was impressive. I ordered scrambled egg with a side order of cumberland sausage and it was really tasty. Highly recommended!

I visited the Sonoma restaurant in the departure lounge of the North Terminal in Gatwick Airport. I wanted something to eat before my long flight and thought this would be a good place to check out. If you look at their menu it says that they aim to get your order to you within 10 minutes of it being taken. I thought this was quite a challenge so after the lady had taken my order I timed how long it took and my order arrived within the 10 minutes. In fact it was only 8 minutes. Good job! And it tasted good too!

Ok. It's OK. Designed to get you in and out. Menu is one to suit most needs. Not as cheap as you might want. I went for a salad and starter - it was enough. Quick service. Like I said, it was OK.

The worst experience of breakfast since I began travelling, by 6am they had tan out of bread and offered no alternative. Ended up paying £70 for three breakfasts (which were cold) and drinks. If Wetherspoons wasn’t so packed I would have gone there and paid a fraction of the price. The staff are rude and like zombies.

In Gatwick North the lunch choices for a sit Shen meal are fairly limited. Went here. Parted with £86 for a pint and three soft drinks and four main meals. Typical pub food of pizza , chicken, burgers etc. Service was poor but staff friendly enough when you tracked them down. Food was decent enough which gets the 2 stars. Otherwise this was the usual airport rip off at £86. Most people in there looked like they wanted to get out. Go to Pret and save a fortune.

Hello, I’m really upset and frustrated. Me and my friends went to Gatwick airport not long ago We used an app to pay for food, it kept saying it wasn’t working, so I then ordered their food and it still said no, but then the food turnt up four times, we asked for our money back, my friend was needed one payment and myself another refunded, they refunded us the money but it never went through 💁♀️, we have emailed several times and still have not had it responded, we have prof it come out of our banks, and also prof or them refunding…..however…..no refund to myself or her to this day has happened. We are so upset that yet no one seems to be willing to help or sort this. You’ve took money that isn’t yours and refusing to believe it wasn’t taken all though it was. Would appreciate someone actually getting back and refunding us

We were staying close by and had a look at this pub online. The listing stated that food is available. This is not the case. We were told that they no longer served food and they could order some in for us. We were told of another pub that sold food and headed that way instead. If you are looking for food, then this pub is not the place to go.

I don’t know why there are so many negative comments on this bar? Although I never ate the 3 lads on the bar were very friendly, there is 3 largers on tap along with a cider. Very good prices for an airport hotel bar.

I came in with my family and daughter last Saturday and ordered a large chai tea latte and my daughter had got a baby chino however it’s called, a Indian lady had messed my order up whilst speaking with an attitude and had sworn towards me and her employee with black hair and tattoos who looked like she was being bullied and uncomfortable. But the service from the girl with black hair was really nice and she kept apologising for her collages behaviour and foul language 2/5 for Costa the drink was really nice but service on the other hand was unprofessional and Disgraceful!!!!!!

Visited the costa in the food court, overall experience was just disappointing felt like a waste of money and just a bad decision on my part. The customer service wasn’t the friendliest from the lady on the till but other staff members seemed more friendly. I ordered two small lattes, one caramel the other vanilla, the coffee was awful tasted burned and the vanilla late had no vanilla flavour whatsoever, it tasted worse than instant coffee and similar to garage machine coffee! £4.30 per coffee just was not worth at all! The cinnamon bun was pretty decent though. Perhaps try the another coffee shop or the Costa downstairs as it may be better quality and definitely a better atmosphere! The atmosphere was abit chaotic, layout not the best and the collection point was rather cramped. I will say the gentleman working in the overall food court, did a great job and keeping ontop of the leaving customers and clearing the tables during a busy time :)

I visited this Costa about a week ago with my sister, who has a serious dairy allergy and is also gluten intolerant, which rules out oat milk from most mainstream brands too. My sister noticed that multiple orders are prepared simultaneously but none of the tins used to warm the milk were labelled and it would be incredibly easy to get them muddled up, with serious consequences for customers. When my sister asked the staff member if she was sure that she'd given her the right coffee with soya milk the woman was rude and dismissive and this was building on her visible irritation with my sister that I noticed while we were first placing the order. My sister never drank the coffee, it was too high risk. Had it been the wrong milk she could have been hospitalised. Dairy and gluten allergies are serious and customers with these concerns should be treated with care and respect and furthermore, Costa should implement procedures which give customers reassurance that mistakes won't be made and they should train staff to handle these situations with greater care and concern. I won't be using this costa branch ever again.
