No food here March 2024 Hambuger trailer outside but was closed at 9pm

Great pub very Friendly staff yep deffo go again can't comment on the food as I didn't have any other then that thanks for having us

We visited as Morecambe fans and were made to feel welcome by staff and customers alike ❤️

Was really nice to walk in and be greeted with beautiful smile from the barmaid who was extremely helpful , and took good care of me and my friend , Her name is Ivett , One of the best pubs around with extremely good service all through the night .

Caribbean food, very tasty. Own brand of flavored gin Mr Gin, decidedly different. Good games facilities, pool, darts etc. Quiet outside area through the pub is nice

Went to play a dart match. Needs a few little changes but overall not to bad. It was the first game of the season, for the pub. Thanks for making it go so well.

Worst pub I have ever visited. Rude staff. Music blaring so loudly, I could barely place a drink order.

Used to be a nice pub to go to for a drink, chat, game of pool. Tonight was awful. Couldn't hear over the stupidly loud music. Kids running riot and being allowed to sit on the bar.

We were down in Crawley watching football. This pub has extremely friendly staff, good service and welcoming locals. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Staff don't give a toss, when asked for darts for the darts board they ignored us but gave them to the locals. Only good thing was the chair I was sat on and the burger van outside.

Went one evening. Heard the sound of breaking glass before we'd even got there! Took ten minutes to get served with beer by an unfriendly staff member. Any decent establishment would have greeted us & said they would be with us shortly. The clientele were youths & fairly uncouth. The beer was drinkable at least. Was insulted by a drunk customer whose lady companion apologised. The building itself is wonderful - the pub just needs decent management, IMO.

Shocking. Last time we went it was OK, not much in the way of decent ales but it quenched the thirst and lager drinkers were content. This time, dreadful. One ale on, Doom Bar (poor at best), which was like vinegar and lager drinkers were saying the same. Staff clearly didn't care. Walked out and went to the Railway.

Booked a table for lunch for 12:30 after viewing their website. Arrived and was informed they don't do food anymore??? The staff did seem friendly enough and directed us to another establishment! Update the website guys!!!!!

Near to the ground - nice outdoor area. Sad that some Swindon supporters vandalised the place by throwing their beer about. The majority of us appreciated somewhere to refresh our thirst after travelling.

Cracking pub. Lovely friendly local atmosphere. We went to Crawley from East Kent to see Hartlepool play. The pub is a perfect distance from the ground, just a few minutes walk. The locals in the pub really looked after us. Although not doing food due to losing their chef they do let you order takeaway delivery and eat in the pub. The locals recommended a few spots . We went with a local chicken burger place. Very nice. Great pub and great people 👍

A friendly local that sits well at the heart of the community. Raising much needed funds for local charities when opportunity allows. From local residents of the older generation to youngsters finding their feet in the pool league, this welcoming pub opens its doors with a smile included in the service. Ample seating, outside areas, parking available, pub games and security on hand for match days for the comfort of everybody. There is a food menu , which is great! Its availability is for set times so I would suggest calling ahead to check if food is being served at the time you choose to go in.

Pub very close to Crawley Town fc where Port Vale won 1-4 - UTV Staff were super and extremely welcoming to all the Vale fans that descended on their premises prior to KO. They also let me park my car on their car park during the game. Proper nice landlords. Happy days

"What an incredible atmosphere.. even though it is advertised as a sports pub, it has a layout that made it very family friendly. 8 of us went for diner including 2 kids under 3 years. Staff were pleasant and food was really good. Had a lot of noise round the other side as there was a big Liverpool match on. But personally I think it added to the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit."

Polite service and good food and beers

The pub is on the walking route from Crawly station to the football club. We popped in for a pre match pint on the way to the game only to find the bar crowded, long queues and only one person serving. So left and drank at the stadium. Badly planned manpower at peak time, won't bother next time.

This is a classic no frills pub if you want to grab a pre match beer before watching the match at Crawley. (The ground is about an 8 minute walk.) There was football on the TVs and the locals were friendly enough to us away fans. The service was pretty slow considering that there the pub was only about half full. (There were only two members of staff serving). The booze prices were good but they did run out of Doom Bar while we were there. I wanted to have the pie for my lunch. But they didn't have that either. My substitute, burger was ok, although the chips weren't. I'm glad I don't have to visit here more than oce a year.

Thought I would pop in this pub lunchtime yesterday as heard some good things about it, went all round it and was unable to find any disabled access, sign at front said use rear door, nope, big step and possibly the entrance to narrow for my scooter to get in,

Decoration for Halloween was good. However... My beer taste like vinegar and when I let the bar staff know they walk away saying I'll deal with it later. 😕

Visited here with family before a football match at nearby Crawley Town FC. We were away supporters. Friendly staff, decent beer at reasonable prices, live sport on the TV. What more could you ask for?

Hand drier in ladies still not working. Paper towels would be handy.

Good service food reasonable price. Not much atmosphere and food ok, limited menu. Had to sit in bar as a private function was being held in restaurant .

This is an ok pub, located outside the town centre. Very large floor area and imagine lively on a weekend night. Decor and furnishing is a little tired and a face lift would help.

Great pool tables and some of the best beer I've tried in Crawley! The staff are also very welcoming.

We enjoyed our meal. Staff were lovely. Our choice was simple but tasty and reasonably priced. Five stars to Lucy who looked after us. She did a great job at looking after our orders.

Thanks so much to Lucy B for your advice and service. She was very happy to help us with meal choices and although we came late she said it was no trouble and our meals came out quickly.

Visited before going to watch football at Crawley football club, which is about 5 mins walk away. There's a good selections of beers with lots of TVs showing live football and several pool tables to the rear. Staff were friendly and service was good.

OK for a pre football match boozer, pretty standard beers though. Not much of note to comment upon.

Didn't have chicken or fish on menu and recommended scampi.... Worst scampi ever 0% fish, forgot peas. Oh wait, and its a dump!!! Don't waste ur time unless you want a beer.

We went here for a Drink after Football match. Staff have no idea. So Expensive as well. £35+ for 6 Drinks. Certainly won't be going there again. I don't Recommend it

Went with a group, staff had no idea, somehow charged me for 2 other drinks that were brought before, 2 Guinness's 1 small rose 3 larger's Equally £35 Yet another friends round 3 Guinness's 1 large glass of rose 1 whiskey coke 1 lemonade/vodka 1 largar Again £35, not sure how that one works out, recommend if your going to the bar don't have a drink on you otherwise that'll be added to your bill.

Ended up here 3 years ago when stuck at Gatwick...got put up at Barrington Lodge but found out about New Moon ...ended up chatting to locals and having a drink with them ...Now i know why its called Crawley because i literally Crawled backed to Guest House ...food top drawer....10/10...i will return for a night for sure

Expensive place and a very bad atmopshere. Only reason for two star is they have four pool tables.

Had a midweek lunch here. Food is gorgeous. Wife had a huge piece of cod, I had hunters chicken. Both were cooked fresh to order and to a high standard. Atmosphere is nice and staff are friendly and approachable. Would come again.

The staff were friendly enough. The drinks tasted okay and were reasonably priced. The food was overpriced for what you get, even by southern standards, but was passable taste wise.

Food was amazing, Deals were good, friendly people just only promblem was we didn't know who and who didn't work there due to no dress code. Other then that everything was amazing

I had sausages, mash and peas. Well, the sausages were certainly not the quality I was expecting. They were meant to be 'Dingley Dell's Cumberland' variety but they tasted more like 'happy shopper.' The 'creamy mash' was actually instant and a few peas. I was actually ill after this meal. The atmosphere of the place was friendly and lively due to the World Cup being shown.

An amazing night out! Me and my friends usually go to the local club but it doesn't compare to the New Moon!!! Amazing place to hang out with mates, pool tables, awesome singer on a Friday night!! Becky and Sebastian are amazing!! Awesome bar tenders!! Best pub I've been to in ages!! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a chilled night out without the crap music from a night club Definitely coming again next week Be there or be square!
